After picking them up and unpacking them, I immediately noticed there were large, deep stains across the top lining of all four curtain panels -- stains that were not there when I brought them in. I showed the photos to the staff, and was told, "Oh, we thought you knew those were there." They never called to alert me, nor did they mention anything when I picked them up. That response alone tells me they knew damage had occurred and hoped I wouldn't notice. The stains are now permanent. They refunded nothing, offered no solution, and were dismissive when I expressed concern. If you're bringing anything of value to this business, be aware that they do not take responsibility for damage and appear to lack transparency with customers. I'm deeply disappointed and sharing this to prevent others from experiencing the same.

I checked it out and decided not to use it, primarily because the location has 2 days turnaround…read moreand I needed to get things done on the same day or on the next day. There was no visible price list so I had to ask. This was not convenient because the place turned out to be pricey depending on the item ($7+ for pants?). What am I supposed to do? I don't want to just drop things off and be stuck with a huge bill, nor do I want to stay there and ask prices for all the items I might possibly want to bring. Now, if I were to overcome the inconvenience of asking prices for 10-15 different items, how am I supposed to remember that? Write it all out on a piece of paper? That's too much. They might do a great job once you figure out the system, but I have no desire to do that. If the business doesn't care about making it convenient for the customer, why should I bother? There are other companies that will do a better job.

After three weeks of delays and excuses, i took my fabric to Gene's. First off, this shop is very very tiny and the change room is more of a change corner with a curtain. But dont let the interior fool you; the seamstress was very accommodating and knows her stuff, and quite affordable. I went in this Sunday for my first fitting and i really am liking how my waist coat is turning out. I go back in on Wednesday for final touchups and pick up on Thursday for Friday wedding invitation photos. Ill post a picture once the vest is complete. Stay tuned :)

My situation: I had a pair of pants that I adored that had holes in the crotch that were growing every time my bike saddle got stuck in there. So I brought both pairs in, asked to get my 2nd pair tailored to the specifications of the first pair and for the first pair to be patched up. The cost: Tailoring: $25 Patching x 2: $15 The work was done in 2 days and the work was done amazingly well. Highly recommended.
