When I dropped watch off explained battery isn't the issue. Got a text a few weeks later watch is ready. Picked up asked him what work did they do and again pointed out the battery wasn't the issue. He couldn't explain and had no notes to explain what had been done. Watch worked for couple hours and stopped that night. So far charge was $45 for no one knows what they did. Took watch back to him reviewed everything again and he said he will "check it"!!! Not to be heard from again! Today, January 28 not having heard anything from them stopped at the shop, the assistant who is a kind innocent man pulled the watch and ticket written on it $350!!! I had zero notifications, no one called or texted to ask if it is ok to repair a $200 watch at cost of $350 plus $45 already paid. Assistant called the owner by phone, the guy yelled and screamed at me and ranted on... gave phone back to assistant , the owner showed up and proceeded to yell and shake his finer at me. My contention was why didnt anyone contact me first to ask if it is ok to charge and repair at cost of $395!!! first he said he made a mistake then accused me of lying about receiving text notification. The owner took my watch cussed me out and told me I was as old as my watch while shaking his finger at me. I was yelled at and abused verbally. He opened the back and removed something. I'm really glad that I gave Sacramento Jewelers my business today. It's a family owned jewelry store and I was greeted with a warm smile at the door. When I asked about replacing the batteries in my watches, instead of disappointment for such a small request, I received a very cordial and friendly response. Both batteries were installed in under 20 minutes and it was a total of $30. $15 each, and these were not inexpensive watches. I couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended and I'll come back to have a look at their jewelry and gold collection in the future.

DO NOT GIVE THIS SHOP YOUR PHONE!!!…read more My girlfriend brought her iPhone 14 to this shop to have the battery replaced. The phone had always been kept in a case and, to her knowledge, had never been dropped or exposed to water. There was no crack on the phone when she brought it in. After picking up the phone, she noticed that the camera was not working properly and that the front camera appeared to have a smudge or obstruction. She returned to the shop the very next morning to report the issue. At that point, she also noticed a sharp crack on the top-right corner of the phone (attached image). This crack was not there when she brought the phone in, and the phone had remained in a hard shell case for the past 4 years. Naturally, she was very concerned about how the damage had appeared. What was especially concerning was that the shop never mentioned any crack or damage when she dropped off OR picked up the phone. When she called the next morning, one of the first questions she was asked was whether she had dropped the phone which was a weird question to ask before she even mentioned any of the issue. When she returned to the shop, they claimed that she had dropped the phone, cracked it, and then somehow exposed it to water, resulting in water damage. She did not drop the phone or expose it to water within such a small time frame. She also asked about documentation of the phone's condition when it was dropped off and was told that the shop does not take before-and-after photos. So there is no documentation from the shop showing that the crack or other damage was present before the repair. She brought the phone in for a battery replacement and immediately afterward had a non-working camera, a smudged front camera, and a new crack that was not there when she dropped the phone off. The fact that the shop did not document the phone's condition and did not disclose the crack when she picked it up is extremely concerning. She is now disputing the charge and possibly filing Consumer Complaint with Virginia AG because she does not believe the damage occurred before she brought the phone in. If you use this shop, I would strongly recommend taking detailed photos and videos of your phone--including all four corners, the screen, cameras, and back--before handing it over for any repair. Or better, just save yourself and your phone from any headache and avoid this place at all cost.
