It appeared she listened. While I gave her carte blanche on the cut, I told her about certain hair characteristics I have. I stressed in particular that I need the weight kept on the top/outer layer of my hair or it would flip up on the ends. The products used smelled great and felt very nice and luxurious. Application was relaxing. The massage was a bonus. The pressure was just fine for me. The sound track they played was calming, which I expected for this kind of experience. If I were to nitpick, I'd prefer more steam, a more thorough extraction for my nose pores (I could still see my nose pores were not clear), and a little bit more pressure with the product application around the nose area, but that's just my preference and what I'm used to. I will request that at my next booking! For the environment, I do wish it were in a little bit more secluded area because it's pretty much in the center of the salon so you can hear EVERYONE'S conversation. So it was a bit noisy for a "luxurious spa" experience. But for the price, you really can't complain. I've only ever gone to Spavia (SUPER luxurious), so my expectations might be a little up there since I've never gotten a facial at a Salon specific place before. It's definitely a drastic difference environment-wise, but it makes sense for the price. You really can't beat it. I'll be coming back! Hopefully as Ella gets more experience and learns more about my skin and what I like, it'll only get better from here on out. She's really nice and accommodating!

It's been hard to find a place to get my brows done. Christina did an awesome job making them look perfect. So I drove to northeast, pay for street parking, and then I was turned away because I was late and they had another appt. I was so frustrated for 1. The fact that they scheduled me at the wrong place, and 2. gave me incorrect information that led to a waste of time and money. I called north loop and told them they wouldn't take me. They apologized and got me scheduled at north loop 2 days later. The next day I get a call saying that I was scheduled with someone who doesn't do the service I need. Glad they caught it before I showed up, but again lack of knowledge and a waste of time! Be careful trusting that they know what they are doing related to scheduling.

The salon is keeping at lower capacity due to covid which I love and requiring masks etc. I worked with Lauren and she did such a great job on my haircut and color, although I was in the salon for almost three hours haha she was very patient with my hair (having thick , dark hair is not an easy task) she was so good in her haircut and took her time in the color as well. She is the sweetest. I found my stylist from now on! I can't wait to come back here and get a haircut/other services again.
