I enjoyed the experience at this dental office, very friendly staff and they were able to find me a Saturday appointment despite their busy Saturday schedules. I've been a patient here for more than 3 years now. The staff has always been really friendly. From the front receptionists to hygienists, dental assistants and the dentists, they're all so nice and helpful. Every time I visit for my regular cleaning and check-up, the hygienist is very thorough, friendly, and takes the time to explain things. The doctors also take their time to fully examine, properly diagnose and give clear recommendations for the care I need. They don't recommend anything beyond what I need. They always urge you to get the most expensive treatment that is not always effective, and the head doctor (Christopher Kim) is rude and unprofessional. I visited the clinic twice this year for filling three cavities and cleaning. I normally do not like visiting a dentist (as would anyone), but I had most hassle-free and good experience visiting this clinic. Dr. Lee was so efficient with her treatment (really surprised that I barely felt anything for doing anesthesia to upper and lower jaw for filling) and did a perfect job with the filling so that I did not feel any uneasiness or difference biting or eating right after the treatment. Also, the front office did a good job of scheduling/checking the treatments so that it is covered by my insurance. Hopefully not any time soon, but if I must go see a dentist again, I would definitely return here for Dr.Lee. read more

I came here by appointment to get something checked out, possibly for braces. The doctor sat me down and literally told me 'I could be making a lot more money right now. You should come back later when you made lots of money.' He then went on to make a very simple analogy comparing teeth to car maintenance. I admit I looked young, but this is no way to treat a client. I was really shocked he was talking to me this way as I was still seated in the operating chair. I have never been back since. I am sure they will be glad I didn't come back. My experience was bad here. Maybe they will treat you better if you look like you have money. read more

I've been to four different dentists in the surrounding area and hands down this is the most cleanest, professional, and caring dentist office I've ever been to. They are here to take care of your needs and are not out to simply quote you obscene amount of money on your dental work. They did full X rays and exam but did not even charge me because they told me that my situation needs to be referred out to a specialist. Unlike other dentists they follow the CDC regulations in reference to Covid. My husband and I have been going here for 8 years now. Everything from cleanings, to Invisalign and they are just great. Very gentle, always remember your name when you come in. Probably the best thing though is that there little to no waiting. In eight years I think I have spent no more than 3-5 minutes in the waiting room. Gotta love that! read more

My husband has been going to this place for 10 years and I for 4. Today was the first time we actually went with a real issue and unfortunately found out how useless they are. A young woman saw me, probably a new grad, and she couldn't tell what she was seeing in the X-rays. She said it could be a fractured tooth in which case we would extract the tooth, or if not we can save it with a root canal. I wish they employed more qualified people but whatever, fine. She said we will schedule an appointment with another doctor that has expertise. So we walk to the front desk... They offer me an appointment on Sep 11. Today is August 22nd. I am taking ibuprufen for pain every 4 hours or so. They know this. So naturally I was in shock! I said do you want me to live with this pain for 20 more days? They mumbled something, the doctor walked away. I said if this is how you treat loyal patients, I am no longer a patient here. Asked for my X-rays to be emailed to me and walked out. Worst experience ever with a health professional. Put your patients health first! read more

Do not come here unless you want to be a test dummy for these college graduates. Over a span of 6 months I had to come back to this spot in the double digits for a simple cavity filling. I was switched around between 4 "doctors" because apparently a basic filling was too difficult. I requested for the head dentist to work on me after I got fed up of coming back so many times only to be told by the older Korean receptionist that the head doctor no longer does fillings. REALLY? No wonder none of these children could do a basic filling, not even the owner could. Save your time and money and stay away from this dentistry. read more

I'm thoroughly impressed with this dentist. I have been seen by both Dr. Kim and Dr. Cho, and they've been quite excellent and highly professional. In the past, my experiences with dentists have been less than stellar. Most dentists that I've seen in the past don't take the time to explain exactly what the problem is or what procedure they are going to do. I've had the opposite experience here. Not only is everything explained thoroughly, but they are very honest about my treatment options. I had previously visited a dentist much closer to where I live that was rated fairly highly on Yelp, and he said that I had to have a few crowns redone because the margins were incorrect. I nearly went forward with the procedure even through it was going to be $3k+ worth of work and a lot of annoyance and discomfort, but then I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim explained that yes, the margins weren't ideal on those crowns but because of the shape of my teeth and how my bite is, the crowns were probably tricky to place in the first place and he doesn't think re-doing them would result in much better margins. He said that if there's no decay near the margins (there isn't) and nothing is bothering me, there's no reason to do them now. Now that's what I like to hear from a dentist. Be honest and straight with me. Don't recommend procedures just to make money, tell me the pros and cons and give me your honest opinion. That's all I want! And I've gotten it here. They're a 45 min drive from where I currently live, but it's worth it. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Kim for over 5 years. He is very professional and friendly. I had a wisdom tooth that had root canal done by another dentist 10 years go, and the tooth was NOT supposed to cause pain after root canal, however, it had been causing problem from time to time, so I had to find a place to re-do the root canal. A friend of mine referred Dr. Kim to me and after a briefly consultation session, I decided to get it done by Dr. Kim. This was 5 years ago, and ever since Dr. Kim did the root canal on that tooth, it has never caused any problem for me anymore. read more

I previously had a bad experience with my previous dentist (see my previous review). Finally, I found SSC Dental owned by Dr. Kim. I came here since July 2010 and since then, have pretty good experiences with the doctors here. Most importantly, they don't charge me copay with my insurance. That really save me a lot of $$$. However, the reason I am giving 3 stars and not 5 stars here is because I still have some sensitivity in 2 of the teeth I had filling. Dr. Kim told me that this is due to the cavity are too huge and is pretty close to my nerve. It will takes few weeks/months to recover. So far, it seems improving. I took my six year old son because he had pain in one molar, and a complication in a front tooth (double baby teeth). All the office staff were very warm and professional. The nurse made my son feel very comfortable and was very patient even though we had to retake the same x-ray numerous times because my son kept gagging. Finally Doctor Caroline Chang was excellent. She took a lot of time to explain things very carefully, with great detail, and answered all my questions. This is a truly outstanding dental practice. read more
