With that being said, to have an appointment and wait over 30 minutes is unacceptable in my opinion, unless there are unusual/extenuating circumstances which in that case, should be communicated. My initial experience consisted of hour+ waits to been seen and internal communication errors that resulted in me having to argue with the office about the correct prescription. There are many appointments available and the office staff is helpful, but don't be fooled, you will wait hours and be disappointed. There must be better options in the region.

Let me tell y'all about the best eye doctor ever -- Dr. Coleman at Union Square Eye Doctor…read more Dr. Coleman is everything. If you have a question about your eyes, a random concern, or you just feel like something is "off," she is the one you want sitting across from you. She is down to earth, she's cool, and you can genuinely tell she cares. Not just about doing her job -- but about you understanding what's going on with your eyes. Originally, my son was her patient. And watching her interact with him? That sealed it for me. He's six, and she explained everything directly to him while also explaining it to me. She made him feel included, comfortable, and calm. That matters. Because let's be real -- doctors can be intimidating for kids. But not her. After that appointment, I said yep -- you're mine now too. And then my mom ended up going to her. So at this point? She's the family eye doctor. Period. Her bedside manner is amazing. You always get a smile. You always feel heard. And when you're someone like me who wears glasses and relies on them daily, anything dealing with your eyesight can feel scary. Not being able to see clearly? Terrifying. So you want to fully trust the person taking care of your eyes. And with her, you absolutely do. The office itself is super convenient to get to, always clean (which y'all know I pay attention to), and the entire staff explains everything clearly -- from tests to billing to next steps. Appointments are easy to schedule, and you don't feel rushed. No shade to the other doctors there -- I just don't know y'all. But my girl is my girl, and that's tea. Dr. Coleman all the way. Highly, highly recommend.

I called to straighten things out and they just told me I signed a form to allow them to charge any extra fees to medical. I don't understand why I'd be asked if I have vision insurance if they don't plan to bill it. It's infuriating for so many reasons. I have 20/20 vision.

Dr. Westreich is an amazing and highly skilled facial plastic surgeon. I've been seeing him for…read moreover a year and have had several procedures done, including fat transfer, lip lift, corner lip lift, alar base reduction, temporalis lip augmentation, and chin augmentation. I also see him regularly for injections like Botox, Sculptra, and EZ Gel. I keep going back because I consistently see real results that still look very natural. As someone who has become pretty well-versed in plastic surgery (for better or worse!), I truly believe Dr. Westreich is the real deal. I originally found him through extensive online research and because he met a very specific set of criteria I had. I was looking for a facial plastic surgeon (not someone who also does body work), double board certified, with an elite educational background (I know that sounds a bit snobby, but it gave me peace of mind), an office in one of the more expensive Manhattan neighborhoods (sounds snobby again, I know!), a strong reputation for rhinoplasty (since it's one of the most technically challenging procedures), a professional and well-kept office, not cheap but not super expensive, and great bedside manner. Very few doctors checked all those boxes. I called each one, and ultimately chose Dr. Westreich--and I'm so glad I did. I'm extremely happy with all my procedures. A few things worth noting: Dr. Westreich's work is subtle and natural. If you're looking for something more dramatic or "snatched," you should be very clear about that during your consultation. He's also very comfortable saying "no" if he doesn't think a treatment is right for you. While that's what any ethical doctor should do, I felt Dr. Westreich was especially thoughtful about it. I even asked about a facelift, and he told me I wasn't there yet--something I think many other doctors would have been willing to do. He offers a same-day booking discount that requires a deposit, but you still have time to change your mind and receive a full refund. Some of the negative reviews seem to stem from misunderstandings about this policy. Personally, I appreciated the discount, never felt pressured, and always found the staff to be kind and professional. That said, if this type of booking structure doesn't sit well with you, this office may not be the right fit. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience and highly recommend Dr. Westreich if you're looking for natural-looking results from a skilled and ethical facial plastic surgeon.

I went in to get my lip filler dissolved and called ahead to discuss pricing. My main concern was…read moremy bottom lip, where I had two very prominent bumps. Dr. Westreich injected a dissolving agent into my bottom lip and asked me to schedule a follow-up appointment. At my follow-up, it was clear that one side had dissolved more than the other, but both bumps were still there. He injected the dissolving agent again. To my shock, the front desk charged me for this visit--without any prior mention that I'd be billed again! This was a follow-up appointment, and I had assumed it was part of the original treatment. Ultimately, I had to go to another practice to fully dissolve my filler. Even worse, the new provider was shocked that Dr. Westreich hadn't addressed the puffiness and migration in my top lip. I had been so focused on the lumps in my bottom lip that I didn't think to bring it up, but I would have expected a trained professional to notice and mention it. At the new practice, I had both my top and bottom lip dissolved properly. I'm beyond disappointed--not only with Dr. Westreich's lack of attention to detail but also with being charged twice for an ineffective treatment.

Title: Poor Botox Injection…read more On December 3, 2025, I went to Dr. Connie Yang for Botox on my jawline. In my experience, Dr. Connie Yang demonstrated very poor skill in administering Botox. I clearly told her medical assistant that I did not want Botox injected into my chin because I naturally have a beautiful, sharp pointed chin. However, Botox was still injected into my chin. Due to Dr. Connie Yang's poor injection skill, my chin developed wrinkling and a shortened appearance, and my face became sagging. This problem has persisted for over three months. I regret choosing Dr. Connie Yang, who appears to be relatively new in practice. The outcome of this procedure has been very distressing and has significantly affected the appearance of my chin. After her poor Botox injections on my chin and jawline, my chin now looks shorter and unattractive, which was not the case before the treatment. I now need to consult a plastic surgeon to try to correct the damage to my chin. I was previously a patient of Dr. Paul Frank, who has over 25 years of experience, and I was always very satisfied with his injection results. I strongly recommend avoiding Dr. Connie Yang and seeking treatment from a highly experienced injector such as Dr. Paul Frank.

Don't start there ok? 5. His staff is delightful. And informative. Ask them for the straight story. On down time. On what works. No bs. Also - and this matters - Dr. Frank is confident. Not cocky. He sells reality not dreams. Is it expensive? Yes. Will I go back. Also yes. Well done doctor and your amazing crew! Patient for life!

Superb Staff and Optical Services!…read more My family and I have been going to OPTICS BY VINCENT for more than 10 years. While there are quite a few optometry services within a mile of my home and this location, I have always found myself returning to Optics By Vincent. Here's why: Pros - The staff is friendly, professional and very accommodating with their patients. They are kind, conversational and patient with children. - You can try on whatever frames you wish and they will tell you honestly how nice (or not) they fit your face, personality, etc. - Eye exams are very thorough and given by physicians that will patiently explain each procedure and their results. - They accept many insurances including Medicaid/Medicare managed health insurances. - Optics By Vincent has a wide array of frames and prescription contact lenses. - They can do minor repairs and adjustments on-site. Sometimes for a very small fee or free depending on what the issues are. Other work requiring more detail is usually ready for pick-up in a reasonable timeframe of a few days to 2 weeks tops. - Because it is a small location, the staff quickly becomes familiar with their clients. They ask about the well being of your family. The can remember your name, your order, and insurance information. - They have Saturday Hours for those who can't take time off from work. -They are easy to get to The 2 or 5 train to Simpson St. or the 6 trains to Hunt's Point. The BX 11, BX 27, BX 19, BX 5 buses are all nearby CONS You may want to call ahead for eye exams. The location is small without much seating. There may also be designated days for the eye exams. Street parking may be difficult to find due to MTA bus traffic and being in a busy shopping area. Call ahead to find out when your eyeglass order is in to save yourself an unneeded trip if you are anxious. (They will normally contact you though) The decor of the office could use some updating. They close before 6 PM most weekdays which means no chance of making it in there for an after-work appointment without a Saturday visit. OVERALL I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR SERVICES AND WARM APPROACH TO CUSTOMERS. 4 OF 5 STARS BECAUSE OF THE SMALL LOCATION, POTENTIAL STREET PARKING, AND NEEDED INTERIOR DESIGN UPGRADES
