He showed up; Diagnosed everything, gave us a temp fix overnight, sent me a quote (since we needed a new system), then called me the next morning to tell me he found the equipment for slightly less and got me an even lower price! And is replacing the unit the next day. Wow... aside from being super professional, he was honest and very knowledgeable. I had two other quotes done out of due diligence (which I do for every big job or contract work), and he also gave us the best pricing. So I would highly, highly recommend John and his company. After requesting quotes on Yelp, I got a slew of phone calls from different companies asking if I wanted to make an appointment for an estimate. At 8pm, Nick called and instead of pitching himself to do the repair, he gave us some suggestions as to what the problem could be and how to fix it. Following Nick's suggestion, we made a quick trip to Home Depot, bought the $40 piece, replaced the broken piece. The fix took less than ten minutes and just as Nick had said, the furnace was working again! Never, in my 29 years of home ownership, has a service person ever turned down an opportunity for a job that probably would've cost several hundred dollars (not including the initial diagnostic fee)!!
