Associates who helped us gave us a discount on the trees. Cashier/owner didn't honor the discount, seemed cracked out, and started ranting about AI randomly. They also didn't wrap up our tree for transport. We ended up stopping by Ace hardware where there were fuller trees for $10 less and would wrap the tree for transport. We specifically got a noble fir for its scent but it didn't smell like anything. Really chaotic and unprofessional experience. Would not recommend this place read more

Brought my kids here and the man with the bucket hat who I found out was the owner is a total jerk!! Watched him yell at kids just trying to have fun for an hour straight. It seemed that he was telling them how to slide down but it got to a point that I heard many families around complaining and even watched them leave. It also states the wristbands are $25 online, but when we arrived they were $35. Not worth your money or time, the church patches are much better. read more

Trees are tiny, old, crispy and dry. I would suggest not even wasting your time or effort. 6-7 feet trees are not even close to what it's supposed to be. Additionally do not purchase a groupon for this company bc the owner will attempt to charge you $20 out pocket for tax?!?! The groupon is for the whole tree including tax.. tax is not separate and he will prematurely scan the groupon so you get stuck with a tree from the lot. DONT DO IT!!! I came in and purchased a small tree because I live in an apartment but I noticed upon getting into my car that I was wrongfully charged so I went straight in and asked for a refund. He refused to give me a refund on the difference and asked that I exchange it for a larger tree... remember I have a small apartment so a larger tree won't fit. He didn't care and refused to refund me the difference that he charged on his own.. I did not authorize that charge. I reiterated that I was overcharged yet he refused. I have to now open a dispute with my credit card company. I DO NOT SUGGEST GIVING THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS.. he's a scam. Read the other yelp reviews and you'll see. I overheard (who I later found out was the owner) speaking down to his workers as if they were peasants. Yes they are young.. but still humans that deserve to be treated with respect. A few of the workers were talking amongst themselves about how low they are paid. Sounds like this owner is greedy, selfish and money hungry. I left without purchasing anything due to the way the owner treated the workers and the trees were old and dry anyways. As I left I heard the owner cashing out somebody hounding them for a "tip" for the workers... WELL, if he paid them enough he wouldn't need to be hounding customers for additional tips for HIS employees. Home Depot has better looking trees that are really 7-8 feet for only $60! My husband and I bought our first Christmas tree from here on the 24th. The service was great no complaints but my biggest concern is that my Christmas base is leaking and my tree is dying. We spent about 130$ and it's going down the drain. About 90$ for a 6ft tree and 30$ for a base that isn't holding the water, plus tip for the young man who helped us out. On the first day we noticed leaking, so we put a bowl to try to help because obviously our tree will die if it's not being watered. But this is such a disappointment! The pine needles are turning brown and they keep falling off! I'm not sure if they nailed the base in wrong, but this is very disappointing. We have seen the Christmas tree and pumpkin patch lot for years, but have never gone there because the place always looks dirty. This year, we got our tree later than normal and there wasn't much left to pick from when we went to our regular tree spot. The parking lot is small and dirt, which made for a muddy mess with the recent rains. Prices were average, but I thought it was weird they were not tagged on each tree or displayed. Found a worker who was friendly and helpful with picking out a tree and loading it on the car. Be sure to tip them well because the owner does that pay them and they work for tips alone. There were a couple of things that made me decide I will not be returning here next year. #1 - $5 to put a net on the tree? That is ridiculous and just a way to dig a little extra money out of the customer. The netting cost about 10 cents per tree and is done by most other places as a courtesy. #2 - I heard the owner snapping and talking rudely to his employees. read more

Pricing is inconsistent. One guy said a 7 ft tree was going to be $109. Another guy said a 6 ft tree was $114. He went down to $109 once we mentioned the other guy. And then he asked us for a tip at the end! Unbelievable. I also see other customers here got a tree recently for $99 here, so be sure to ask around. this was our second time visiting this lot, it's in a great location and have a good selection of trees. unfortunately, this year was terrible! the customer service was bad, and the person who loaded our vehicle, put the tree in our trunk, I have no idea why? I would've given this place 4 stars, but didn't like how they changed prices on us.They had this 6ft tree that we really liked. At first the staff said $74, but when we said we were gonna look at Armstrong Gardens next door to compare prices, their boss said he will give us the tree for $64 if we stay and buy it O_o. We still left and went to Armstrong to check out their trees. We didn't like what they had so we went back. Boss was trying to sell it for $74, but I told him I liked the $64 better ^_^. The staff who helped us carry the tree to our car was really nice and polite. We gave a generous tip! They have a nice variety of trees to choose from and they are in great condition and in my opinion better than Home Depot trees. The tree we got looks fresh, very green so we were pleased! read more

The prices were competitive and the trees were beautiful. They were happy to trim the trunk after purchase. I had a question about keeping our tree fresh and was able call and speak with Abel several times. He was very kind and offered great advice. This was our first year buying a real Christmas tree and we will definitely go back every year! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Owner from Oregon is a fly by night con artist with absolutely no skills to run a business. He comes across as very cocky and has no respect for his employees. I came home to find out the tree was cut at an angle and now I have a crooked tree. I would call to complain but I seriously do not trust the owner to give a care about a customer. Please note: This entire review is based solely on my own personal experience at Christmas Trees 4 Less located at the corner Imperial Hwy. and La Palma Ave., in Anaheim, CA. All statements contained herein are my own personal thoughts, ideas, perceptions, etc. This employee, Rex, did a fresh cut on my tree but did not leave any room at the bottom of the trunk for my tree to be put into my own stand. The lot manager/business owner told me I should have told Rex to do so. I told him I've never had to tell someone at a tree lot who did the fresh cuts, to leave enough room at the bottom of the trunk so I can put it in a stand. He tied it to the top of my car for me and said it would not move. Well, it moved. I had to drive on the freeway to get home. I called the lot when I got home & realized I couldn't put my tree in my stand. I was told by the guy who runs this lot, to bring the tree back and they would cut off the bottom branches and put the tree in my stand for me and re-tie it to the top of my car. I am an over 55-year-old, totally disabled female. So, there's no way I would be able to hoist it back up onto the roof of my car and I don't know how to tie a tree onto the roof of my car. This same guy said that I should have told Rex that I had my own stand in the car or I should have gotten it out of my car. I told him that when Rex opened the back doors of my car, he could clearly see my stand, and did not ask if I wanted him to put my tree in my stand. This guy tried to tell me if I had had them put my tree stand on the tree, even though it's made of plastic and also has long "L" shaped type screws that hold the tree in place, that it would not have hurt my front windshield. Yeah, right --- NOT! If that stand or any of the screws were to bounce against my front car windshield, it would have gotten damaged and I could have possibly gotten into an accident because of it. And there are no signs or anything that say they are a "Full-Service Lot" & what those services are. The guy said I should have asked. And he said something that made me think that he thinks a Christmas tree can be put up in an apartment or house without being in a stand. SMH! I've never seen a decorated Christmas tree anywhere, that was not in a stand unless someone decorates one in the forest or on a tree farm or has one growing on their property. Especially when the fresh cut is done at an angle. Also, this tree was the dirtiest and dustiest one I have ever purchased. All this fine black dirt and dust got all over my living room floor. The guy did offer to have Rex come to my place with a saw and if needed a drill to come to fix the tree for me but, that I'd have to wait until after 10 p.m. tonight to have Rex show up. Even though, I purchased the tree around 3 p.m. And the guy said they charge $30 to $40 for one of their employees to come out to your house. And that's on top of paying their outrageous prices for the tree. After almost falling a few times, due to my physical disabilities, ruining a butcher knife to trim the bottom branches off, and messing up the clothes I was wearing, & trying a few times, I was finally able to get my almost 7' tall tree put into my stand. This tree cost me almost $130. I texted and asked the guy to credit the money that was charged to my credit card and to refund me $25 of the $100 cash I gave him for the lack of professionalism and poor customer service I received, and he said "Sorry, NO." When I was at the lot, the owner/manager guy said he'd been doing this for either 14 or 18 years, then, when he called me, he said he'd been doing this for 28 years. So, I don't know which to believe. While I was at the lot, I had asked him if he was offering a senior discount, veteran's discount, or disabled person's discount & he said NO. He said he used to give discounts but, that this is "a different time we're in now" or something to that effect. My personal opinion is that he is just using this Covid 19 pandemic as a means to charge approx. $20 or more per foot for the trees. He says he rents this corner lot for $13,000. He was very arrogant, cocky, and condescending. He had this "holier than thou better than thou" attitude. He talked down to me. The ground was all wet, muddy, and had standing mud puddles. It was really slippery. I almost slipped and fell a couple of times while I was there. I will never buy a tree from this lot ever again and I do not recommend anyone else to do so either. I would recommend reading some of the other previous Yelp Reviews about this place and/or any other online reviews you can find. read more

I paid $200.00 dollars for a flocked 7' tree. supposed to be delivered in a "few" hours. at 5pm-no tree. called -tree wasn't dry. few mor calls,5 , won't be done until tomorrow. Next day-no tree. many phone calls, eventually, right to voice mail. Noon comes and goes, no tree. I went there at 3pm and was told they don't use that guy anymore. he isn.t reliable. Duh! This is truly the place to get your Christmas Trees. Through the years I have always gone to Costco, but as of last year (2014) I found this place. Here they have those Grand Christmas Trees, the kinds you see at 5 Star Hotels and in the Movies. Last year, I got a 12.5 foot tree. These guys were very courteous, and extremely helpful. They trimmed and shaped the tree and delivered it to my home and helped me set it up. Since I hosted Christmas last year, everyone was so impressed with the Christmas tree, I got another one this year, as I was nominated to host again. This year I got a 14 foot tree, flocked and it is just Magnificent in my home with high ceilings. They Delivered the Tree to my home, and set it up again. The kids were ecstatic, as they have never seen a tree this big and full before! No more Costco Trees for us, but True Gourmet Christmas Trees from this company. I highly recommend that you visit here and get one of their special trees, as your children will adore it and remember it forever making for wonderful moments, memories and pictures.
