I'll preface this by saying I'm a house rabbit owner. The old setup stressed me out with the bunnies running around being grabbed and picked up by everyone and poked and prodded by kids when they clearly were trying to hide. The new setup? I was happily surprised to hear the bunnies weren't out for the day due to the weather. They can suffer heatstroke and are sensitive to hot weather (mine are spoiled and live in 73-69° daily). So no bunnies out suffering the heat? That's so awesome! Thanks for caring RSR! I got to love on the Guinea pigs who had room to run, while someone would pick them up and place them in a bin beside me, tell me their name, approx age, and their fave veggie. I fell in love with Lola (I believe that's her name). She's a fiend for lettuce and gets the cutest green mouf. She begs for more and you can't deny her lil bug eyes. The Emu Angel has been there since I last visited (she's 38yrs old!). The goats and sheep are separated from the llamas and you can't step inside with them anymore (honestly this is probably best so kids don't get knocked out or have their clothes chewed). You can still feed and pet all of the animals! I can't complain about the price of admission or the price of feeding them. I personally know the cost of exotic vet care and it's not cheap, throw in the livestock vets and care and you're looking at a pretty penny. I guess a pro tip is to show up on a week day, somewhere around 2, and pace yourself. I spent over an hour there so it wasn't a blink and you miss it type of adventure for me.

This place is so cute, and the train drops you off right there, which makes it super convenient! My almost 3-year-old especially loved the petting zoo. I recently visited the picturesque Farmakis Farm for the first time for a private event. I always…read morenoticed the cute little farm by the 5 fwy, right in the beautiful city of SJC, and it was great to finally go! The farm has the most adorable animals, including goats, chickens, a cute pig named Penelope, and a 7 month old donkey named Hazel, whose little 'hee haws' were a highlight of my visit. It was such a pleasure to chat with the owner and learn about all the different activities they host, such as line dancing, a farmers market, and arts & craft events. I will definitely be returning for another event. Thank you, Farmakis Farm, for a truly memorable visit!

There used to be a big Orange field next to it and fruits were donated to Food Banks but now lands are renovated for recreational activities and homes.

Since my friends and I wanted to have the experience of picking blackberries as well, we each paid the extra $7.50. However, when we arrived at the farm, the staff member was very rude and told us there were no blackberries available for picking. Instead, they gave us two boxes to pick more strawberries instead of blackberries. My group felt very disappointed about what happened today, and we wonder why the farm would still offer blackberry picking in the online booking system and charge extra for it when they were not prepared to provide it. But that's okay -- my family will not be returning to this farm again.

It is "free" to walk-in, but it is cash only and have a ATM machine that charges you $4-5 fee. We bought $40 worth of tickets which is not much for the kids to enjoy. They have about 5-6 bounce houses. Each one "costing" about 5-10 tickets. The other small rides which are meant for children possibly 10 and under are about 5-7 tickets. The uneven number of tickets is also frustrating so that either you don't use them or buy more. I get that it's a business, but for what they offer in my opinion it's not worth the price. They have a few food stands 2 sweets, and 4 savory. We bought funnel cake, and dubai chocolate cups. They were both super friendly pop-ups. The pumpkin patch itself also didn't have many pumpkins. I went to another pumpkin patch that had 10 jumpers $22 and endless play.
