The brat was solid. Kids wolfed down the big pretzel. Plenty of seating in there to sit and eat.

Keep moving down the trail, and you will find it. We bought tickets online, so the check-in process was easy. We purchased a veggie basket to feed the animals, and we paid some extra $$$ so my son can ride the tractor and play on the excavator. There is also a playground on site and a horse ride. It was nice, but after an hour, my son asked to leave. Younger kids will enjoy it more. It took us 1.5 hours to drive back, so we spent more time on the road than actually experiencing the farm. What I like is that there are variety of shops and restaurants around the farm, and it's cute. Boutiques to shop for jewelry, clothes, shoes, HomeGoods, all kinds of stuff, so that was really nice.

Overall, it's decent, not a must-go destination, but not bad either. Good to add to your list if you're nearby and just want something simple to do.

I recently visited the picturesque Farmakis Farm for the first time for a private event. I always…read morenoticed the cute little farm by the 5 fwy, right in the beautiful city of SJC, and it was great to finally go! The farm has the most adorable animals, including goats, chickens, a cute pig named Penelope, and a 7 month old donkey named Hazel, whose little 'hee haws' were a highlight of my visit. It was such a pleasure to chat with the owner and learn about all the different activities they host, such as line dancing, a farmers market, and arts & craft events. I will definitely be returning for another event. Thank you, Farmakis Farm, for a truly memorable visit!

There used to be a big Orange field next to it and fruits were donated to Food Banks but now lands are renovated for recreational activities and homes.

Random find in Irvine…read more Right next to Irvine Valley College, I came across this cute farm. According to their website, it's been around for over 100 years and is now run by the third generation, which is pretty cool. At The Original Manassero Farms Market - Irvine, they sell fresh fruits and veggies, and you can also book strawberry picking through their website. Entry is $16 per person, which includes a box and about 1 lb of strawberries. Kids under 2 get in free but don't get a box. One thing to note, the strawberries used for picking are not labeled as organic. The organic ones are sold separately at the market stand, with clearly marked pricing. Price-wise, it's honestly on the higher side. But if you want the experience of actually picking strawberries, I really don't know many comparable options this close to Irvine. They also have a few other locations in Anaheim, Tustin, and another Irvine spot across from 99 Ranch.

It is "free" to walk-in, but it is cash only and have a ATM machine that charges you $4-5 fee. We bought $40 worth of tickets which is not much for the kids to enjoy. They have about 5-6 bounce houses. Each one "costing" about 5-10 tickets. The other small rides which are meant for children possibly 10 and under are about 5-7 tickets. The uneven number of tickets is also frustrating so that either you don't use them or buy more. I get that it's a business, but for what they offer in my opinion it's not worth the price. They have a few food stands 2 sweets, and 4 savory. We bought funnel cake, and dubai chocolate cups. They were both super friendly pop-ups. The pumpkin patch itself also didn't have many pumpkins. I went to another pumpkin patch that had 10 jumpers $22 and endless play.
