we purchased a tree, elected to have their staff mount the tree on a stand that included a tray for water as we had done the previous year. I tested for leaks before bringing the tree in the house and dI'd not notice any. However after bringing the tree into the house I noticed a very slow leak from the tray. l quickly emtied the tray, got the tree out of the house. I loaded the tree on the car and returned tree lot , asked them to remove the leaky tray And return the $30 fee for the tray. The owner said " we don't do that". After an extended conversation about it being the right thing to return my money for a defective item he simply walked away. Obviously I don't plan on returning to this lot next year. I would suggest using a lot that will treat the customer with respect in a situation like this one. read more

Great Old Family owned company. We went to a few Christmas tree lots and nurseries this morning and as we were driving by Orange Coast College we saw Noonan's Tree Lot. This lot had beautiful fresh trees and the prices were VERY good. At other lots flocking was up to $70.00 at Noonan's it is $15.00. This along with reasonable inexpensive tree prices were half the price of other lots. Try them you can't beat their trees or their prices. read more

All the stars. Basically, I'm in love with this tree lot. Beautiful trees with great shapes (they have perfect trees, and imperfect trees, which is what we wanted), and varieties you don't find everywhere. Their little trees look great, their medium trees look great, and their giant trees look great. We were looking for a 12' tree and they had lots of choices and it looked like they had trees even bigger than that. People were super nice and helpful. The lot is under a bunch of huge eucalyptus trees, which makes it feel even nicer. Plus, apparently they started in the 40's or 50's and is still run by the same family, which is cool. read more

Instead of trying to find a tree you like, you'll have to pick from so many trees you like!! These are the best trees I've come across in years....so green and fresh...such perfect shape...no pine needles come off at all!!! I'll never buy a tree anywhere else again!! Purchased our tree there a few weeks ago. Was assured by their staff it was a fresh tree with a fresh cut of the tunk "that morning". The tree starting drying out immediately and did not even drink any water. In 50 years of buying Christmas trees this is driest tree ever - brittle. Luckily Christmas is in a few days and we can take the tree down. Sorry to say we will not be going to buy from that lot again. read more

I have been going to Noonan's for my Christmas trees for the past three years. It is always a very easy process so I keep going back. Their quality of tree is always great so I can find the perfect shape and size in just a few minutes. They have a mixture of tall, short, flocked, fir, and pine trees as well as wreaths and other decor items. Prices always seem reasonable compared to the quality and how long they last. I typically buy mine right around Thanksgiving and it looks beautiful through Christmas. Extremely friendly service all around. Note: They have changed locations in recent years, but they are always somewhere easy to get to in Costa Mesa. When you visit, you can write your address on an envelope for them and they will mail you the location and opening date for the following year. read more

I've always seen this place but never came before, and won't again! As soon as you walk in, there's a big sign saying employees work for tips only... ok. I've volunteered at church tree lots before. But then we get to the trees. A bill and twenty for a five foot tree?! And they don't pay their staff??? The trees seemed fresh and healthy but when I can go elsewhere for 1/3 the price, and people actually get paid, I think I know who I'll be spending my hard earned dollars with. I gave the poor dude working 10 bucks and skipped out, having a tree can wait til tomorrow. read more

I have gone to Noonan's for my tree for the last 4 years. Before that I had always gone to Home Depot. I can tell you what you pay for is what you get....the trees cost a bit more at Noonan's, but it's worth it if you want a tree that will stay fresh for the whole Christmas season. Last year I was diligent with watering my tree every day and my tree was still fresh after Christmas Day; and we got our tree the day after Thanksgiving! You can tell they get their trees from a good tree supplier. And I know Noonan's will stand behind their tree if something were not satisfactory. I definitely recommend this tree lot! read more

It's New Years Eve. I bought our tree from Noonans the day after Thanksgiving. Our tree has not dropped one needle! It has been so fresh and beautiful throughout the Christmas season. Thank you for being so kind and helping us choose this beauty. I would rather spend a couple dollars more for a quality product, as I have purchased trees elsewhere in the past that started dropping needles immediately and were a fire hazard.
