The tree crashed down after we decorated, destroying hundreds of dollars of glass heirloom decorations we put on it. When we went back to the lot to inform them, their only offer was to give us the larger base they should have put on in the first place. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. It was my fault for not checking the prices before committing to getting the tree. I was in a hurry. Home Depot is less than half the price but won't last as long and they don't look as fresh. If price isn't your biggest concern, you'll probably get a good healthy tree. If you want it much cheaper, try somewhere else.

If you're looking for more than just a Christmas tree, Blake's Christmas Tree Stop delivers a…read moregenuinely memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this wasn't your typical tree lot. The team truly cares -- not just about selling you a tree, but about making sure you leave happy. There's a level of attentiveness and kindness here that feels rare, especially during the busy holiday season. They took their time helping me find the right tree, and I never felt rushed or like just another transaction. It felt personal, thoughtful, and honestly... festive in the best way. What really stood out, though, was what happened after. For a small fee, they offered tree pickup at the end of the season -- and when the team came, they went above and beyond. The guys were so polite and hardworking, handling everything seamlessly and even taking the time to sweep up afterward. It made the whole process completely effortless on my end. It's little details like that -- the follow-through, the care, the pride in service -- that turn a simple errand into a five-star experience. I'll absolutely be back year after year.

I was scrolling around yelp again and I actually found Noonan's Christmas Tree's near by and gave them a call. I was a little bit early and they actually told me that they'd have the tree's by next week and would give me a call. I gave them my phone number and I actually got a call back from them telling me that they just received the tree's. I was absolutely amazed and I am grateful for the service. WORLD CLASS!

Pricing is excellent, and is competitive to any high quality tree lot in the area, but the service puts it over the top. I stop weekly to purchase multiple bouquets for my mother. She loves sunflowers and as long as she waters them, they will last for a few weeks. During the various holidays, they have holiday arrangements and they are so vibrant and festive. Sometimes they will have fresh produce such as watermelon or other locally sourced fruit, but not often. If they do, buy it, try it because it's fresh and flavorful. They accept cash and Venmo! There is a cash box to leave your money in case an employee isn't working directly at the stand to take your payment.

I am a long time resident of Dana Point and love to support local, family run businesses…read more Unfortunately, my experience with Dana Point Nursery has been consistently disappointing, and almost entirely due to customer service. Over the years, I have found the owner, Brooke, to respond to most requests with some variation of "no." Do you carry a particular item? No. Can you order something specific? No. Can I exchange something? No. Can I return an item I purchased just a few hours earlier? No. The most recent example was a simple request for a 10-gallon plastic pot. Last week, I was told they were out of stock and to come back after Friday. When I returned this weekend, they still didn't have one. While walking through the nursery, I noticed a used 10-gallon pot and asked whether I could buy it. The answer was no, and I was told to come back next week. The problem wasn't that they were out of stock. Businesses run out of products all the time. The problem was the complete lack of initiative to help solve the customer's problem. A simple offer to order one when I first visited, or even an attempt to suggest an alternative, would have turned a frustrating experience into a positive one. Instead, I went to Armstrong and bought what I needed there. What makes this particularly disappointing is that Dana Point Nursery depends on the support of the local community. Most people want to support independent businesses, but customer loyalty is earned through helpfulness and service. Unfortunately, after several experiences like this, I have decided to take my business elsewhere.
