That being said, the chain delivers as a one-stop-shopping holiday destination whether you seek a fully illuminated Manger with a glow in the dark Messiah or your taste runs to a left handed Elf on the Shelf. Personally, I prefer my Savior fully analog, without a plug, but that's just the Luddite in me talking. More practically, prices are as reasonable as the selection is extensive. Every year I look at my now antique artificial tree and vow to chuck the plastic fantastic mother in January. This year I really think that I'm going to do it since I only have to wait until August. I'm so pissed. I just bought 15 boxes of Damprid (fresh scent) because of the sale. I get home and open a pack and it smells like absolutely NOTHING!!!! Fun store to shop at but nothing too thrilling. I would describe it as a cheaper version of Bed Bath and Beyond. You can find everything here: plate sets, curtains, pillows, bath supplies, toys, snacks - not just Christmas decor. Their seasonal section is usually pretty good, I've found some cute gardening things and summer decor. Some things aren't as good of quality as others, but it's fun to come here to look around every once in awhile. read more

I don't know why I bother coming to this place after so many issues, mind you i live 30 minutes away and constantly have to return to their store on an issue that they screwed up on their end. I was charged twice for an item in two occasions and once they forgot to add an item I bought into my bags. I love this store. I often visit the store in Freehold which is close to my house. Their prices are very reasonable and they have so many themed items (Halloween, Christmas, shore items( depending on the season. They have a small food section and a Harmon section that you can use a BBB 20% coupon as long as it hasn't expired. They also have greeting cards wrapping paper, gift bags and small furniture. I don't live near these shops except when I come up north to visit family . I have found some incredible bargains on curtains and rods and some cute household pieces. Additionally as a gluten free household, they Often offer amazing veggie snacks and dried fruits and great things I cannot find at fair prices at home . All the prices are markedly cheaper than my hometown region of DC and I love this store and the ever changing offerings . The Parking lot was full beyond belief and I also was able to pick up some bargains for my collegiate daughter's room at a fraction of the regular prices - picture hangers, mirrors, decorative pillows and more . Only drawback is insane weekend crowds and shortage of parking but that is actually great for their business . Half the store was xmas which I did not need but the household fare was excellent . read more

I think the better question is 'what don't they sell?'. They have a huge variety of holiday decor, EVERY HOLIDAY! Yup, you heard it, they're open all year round! Holiday supplies and gear, gifts, books, toys, and cosmetics. They have almost everything you can think of for Christmas. I was a bit disappointed... my girlfriends parents are religious people, and I wanted to buy them an advent wreath this year. Only one out of four people we asked even knew what it was, and did they have it??? ... I think not! C'mon guys... advent wreath next year!!! Over all the store was big. Prices are ridiculously low, and granted some things are lot sale discounts because it's cheap merchandise, but not all of it! Definitely have to check it out. read more

I went to The Christmas tree shops thinking that I was going to buy this amazing, beautiful island for my kitchen and it turned out to be from China and I could not put it together for the life of me! This thing has 800 pieces that do not go together and nobody is willing to help or show me where they can all fit together I can't take back to the store because the pieces don't fit back in the box. Their customer service is non existent. Please, please people beware of the items you must put together yourself from this store.They don't give you enough direction on a lot of these items, you must put together yourself. It's a kitchen island not a final exam, this should not be so difficult! It's stressing me out and yes simple fix, put back in box and go back to the store. Lol. Cute. I thought the same thing! Not so simple though. So I'm here to save you some money and more importantly, your time. Go to Lowe's or Wayfair. I really love this location for Nautical finds. You can find everything here. They have everything from plates to lamps to home décor and even patio furniture. Great prices and very quick at the register with pleasant employees. The only complaint is that the aisles are very small making it hard to navigate your shopping cart around the store. Parking lot is huge so easy to find a parking space. They are located in the same shopping center as the Costco and there's a Harmons next door. read more

To me this is another dollar type store, except, not a lot for a buck. This store has everything you can think of, including Christmas all year. There is so much stuff, curtains, BBQ things, garden, food, dishes, and I could go on and on. I love going here a few times a year, just to look around. This is my wife and MILs favourite place to go for anything and almost everything they may need. There are bargains to be had. The aisles can be a bit tricky to navigate plus with the shear number of folks, cart traffic can become a bit of a headache. Overall, not a bad store. IMHO, some of the stuff is cheesy and can be found at the Dollar Store. read more

The Brick store is my favorite place to go when I'm in town. Being from Florida we do not have one. There is everything under the sun and lots of stuff that say Jersey Shore. I like to browse this store a lot - they have a lot of cool stuff, however I have tried buying 3 sets of sheets there (all different brands) and all 3 did not fit my bed correctly. They were all a bit too small for my standard queen bed and because I washed them I wasn't able to return them - (ew who doesn't wash sheets before putting them on their bed?!) I like the stuff but the sheets are a total waste of money and when I called the person didn't even try to help me with the issue she just said "uhhh they won't return that " even though I just wanted store credit. It has its good points and its bad. Fairly well organized and usually most things are there in an orderly fashion. You need to know prices since some things are a decent price, but others you can find much cheaper in other stores. Someone told me to go there to check out the pottery from Poland. I like Polish pottery, but what they carry while cheaper also seems like a cheaper quality. No place near the quality I am looking for. Not sure if these are knockoffs, seconds or I am not sure what. To all you "reviewers" out there, CTS is not at X-mas tree store! The previous store owner (a couple on Cape Cod), opened their first store in the late 1970's selling X-mas items. As the stores branched out on the Cape, so did their merchandise. They used zip codes for marketing purposes, selling items popular to customer purchases, & still do so today. The merchandise stocked at the Brick store is due to the type of items purchased by consumers in the Ocean county area. If you shop at the CTS in New England area, you will notice that those stores have a nicer selection of items. I still love shopping at all CTS locations, however, its not as nice as it was prior to Bed Bath & Beyond purchasing all stores from the original Cape owners several years ago. read more

Went into store the other day to look at some teak deck tiles that were priced at $29.99 on their website. After looking at the tiles and deciding to buy the 10 boxes I needed. I looked at the price sign and noticed the price was $35.00 dollars a box. I had to ask the sales associate why the price was different from website. She then proceeded to tell me that they are the same price. And I tell her they are not the same price. I then pull up the website and show her the price to be about $6 dollars difference in price. She then calls manager over and what a horses A this one was. Manager starts to talk to me like I am a idiot and says they are not the same. I show her the numbers are exactly the same on the boxes on website and in store. She comes up with you have to buy on website to get it at that price I tell her it does not say online only. I say to her I should get it at the price of website she then proceeds to walk away from me.this is one manager that doesn't like to be proven she was wrong. read more
