They sell mostly American Wagyu items that are way out of my price range, even for a treat! Other than frozen foods, they have random kitchy items that are seasonal that have country vibes to decor. My kids love the chickens that are both in a pen as well as out! The staff here is very friendly! But the prices... 15 for a jar of pickles... 15 for a loaf of bread. I'm not sure how people can afford it. I am glad that they do, and I wish I could! All in all it is a cute store with very expensive local meats and vegetables. If you can afford it, its for you!

Not sure what happened but being our first time there, not sure we'll be back. They overcharged a smidge for the tree too, my husband measured it to be 6 ft they said 7, I guess wouldn't have bothered us if the check out issue didn't occur. $90 for 7 foot. But the tree is gorgeous and holding up great. I recommend it for the selection and location. They have a small store and hot cocoa. They have some farm animals in the back too.

Looking forward to celebrating more birthdays at build a bear soon.

She still has that duck to this day :) (she was washed a good time 10x too!) Kids were having fun, the adults / parents were having fun, the EMPLOYEES were having fun! (many sported BAB backpacks w BAB's in them). There was a great collection of the usual bears, dogs, bunnies, and other critters (many from TV shows / movies) available. I personally loved the baby cub (forget the correct name) and another lil vanilla / brownie cub. My daughter wound up getting a very plain, slightly curly fur'd, bear. No clothing purchased. She just wanted one :) Just being in the store brought back a flood of great memories. Just a fun, fun, olace!

I called and spoke to Andrea, she was able to set us up for an evening of fun. I even found a Groupon the next day ($15 for $30 worth)! They are currently working on their website but their Facebook page is updated regularly. I think i found a new hobby. We came here for some pottery wheel action. Our instructor, Colleen, was awesome. We each took turns on the wheel and she gave great directions, tips, and quickly jumped in to help when needed. She definitely made our experience fun. I can't say enough about her. We worked with a total of 5 pounds of clay and was there for about an 1 and 1/2 and payed a total of $20. They closed 9pm that evening but I believe we left a little past 9:30. The staff was very accommodating. Colleen stated that it takes about 2 weeks for the clay to dry so we do have to return a second time to paint our creations and a third time after they have been fired up in the kiln. Keep an eye out for updates.

They also have a huge selection of mini Christmas villages for inside your house. All beautiful! They have nice ornaments and various other Christmas acutremonts. They also have a huge amount of real and fake trees. Most people come for their Christmas walk through. And its cheap! $7 for up to 5 people!!! Much better than most other places that charge $20 a person! I will say it is a bit small, but they have great decorations to view! It is done really well! Service is great! I just wish they were a hair more attentive when standing in line, apparently you just walk up to an open register instead of waiting in line to be called. You need to get tickets at the register!!!! Prices in general are pretty reasonable. This is a much nicer garden center than others that I have gone to.

Unfortunately, we went a few days after it snowed, and it was pretty muddy outside. Its nothing that they can control, but if they used rocks instead, it might have been considerably less muddy.... So it seems that they want to be a mall replacement. And they charge 30,45,and 60 for pictures, and it was super popular! The line was atleast 15 people deep. I will say they did a good job, he seemed like a nice santa. They also have a ton of Christmas stuff from ornaments to various decorations available for sale. I have only been once, and im probably not going back. They seem to be a huge garden center in the summer for all your gardening needs, unfortunately we don't garden lol! They do a great job with branding! Huge letters indicating where you are lol! I love their floral arrangement that spells out their name as well. Other than that, service is ok, nothing crazy, staff is friendly enough. They were doing a craft with kids, I was about to do it with my kids, but it had like 17 steps and they are 1 3 4 with short attention spans lol! So they wrote letters to santa and we left. Aside from santa being expensive, the rest of the stuff seems competitively priced. All in all, a decent place, santa is expensive.

So. Much. Fun!! I'll start by saying that the unofficial after party for The Mummers (the…read morePhiladelphia troops dressed in elaborate costumes, performing themed routines and some even instruments) on New Years Day which takes place here is NOT for everyone! It's not quite as family friendly or as "classy", shall we say, as the actual parade. The festivities on Two Street reminds me of Beale Street in Memphis, Bourbon in Nola and Broadway in Nashville. With that being said, I personally had a blast in all of those places and if you've been and enjoyed them, you'll enjoy this. Also, I felt comfortable bringing my kiddos to all of those places, and here as well. Since they were just babies in fact. In recent years they police started patrolling the area and barricades are now put in place keeping people out of the trucks way. Back in my day it was a free for all. Now they even have porto-potties and food vendors! There's lots drinking out on the streets, really loud music, lights and some trash you'll have to step over, but everyone is here to just have a good time and Paaaaartay! We have never run into any issues here. Most younger people in the city, especially in South Philly know the real party isn't New Year's Eve, but rather New Year's Day starting bright and early with the parade, and the party keeps rocking onto Two Street where the brigades head back to their respective lodges all found here in Pennsport. This is also where the actual Mummer's Museum is located too. While the crowd is youthful, I don't feel like I'm crashing a frat party at all. The fun starts around 7:30ish and goes all night!!! Many Mummers stay awake for 24 hours and somehow, I used to also. I totally took for-granted being able to just walk home when I lived down the street way back in the day. Definitely should have had more New Years parties then. The neighbors all do and some will even welcome you into their garage and to have a go at their keg. I highly suggest taking a cab or Uber if you'll be drinking. Have them drop you on 2nd & Washington or if you need a specific destination, the museum. If you're not really drinking and will be driving, there's plenty of unmetered parking right under 95! Bring layers, big smiles, your favorite adult beverages and get ready for a crazy, fun time!!! If you're from out of town thinking of a fun place to head for New Years, Philly does it so right!! Hitting up the fireworks the night before, the parade and Two Street the next day makes for an awesome time! It's our favorite way, and really the only way to ring in the New Year in Philly, if you ask us!! It's a must!!
