Entire staff is very helpful and sweet, we required a late arrival or keys were left at the front desk with a map and directions how to get to our room. First time here for country feast and will be returning again without a doubt. The breakfast was delicious and very accommodating supplying coffee to go cups for the ride home.

Just a great place to stay and enjoy the Catskills. Great food, people, golf and views. Staff makes you feel like part of the family. My favorite place in the Catskills.

A cute little bed and breakfast place. Desk was friendly. The room had a fireplace which was awesome. Less than 5 minutes from windham slopes. Will definitely be back

It's very close to the mountain and a couple blocks from the main street in Windham with restaurants, coffee shops, and more. The rooms were updated and nicely decorate. The front desk employee informed me that they're shutting down for a month in a few weeks to complete more renovations. I can't wait to stay here again! They had a great breakfast, movie room, fire pit, pool, sauna, and more! Highly recommend!

We were hungry and with most of the restaurants closed or closing soon, Jacob offered to make us some chicken tenders. They were absolutely delicious and really hit the spot. You have a variety of choices for breakfast - warm muffins, croissants and chocolate croissants, fruit, oatmeal, cereals, granola and your choice of teas as well as coffee, cappuccino, and macchiatos from a machine I wish I had at home. Starbucks watch out...lol. The warm croissants are made each and every morning by Jacob. Our Mountain View room had a king size bed, which was so comfortable and oversized pillows that felt like clouds. Everything was so luxurious and very clean. Coming back to our room on Valentine's Day, we found a box of chocolates and a Rose left on our bed. What a pleasant surprise! You can tell that Jacob, his family and staff really love what they do. It's this small family feel that you will not find at any hotel chain. Downstairs there's a lounge area with board games, a foosball table and lots of places to sit, eat, read, talk and just relax. There's a separate building with a heated pool and a sauna right outside. We didn't get a chance to use this, but look forward to it the next time. You have access to the Windham Path right from the property as well. Lots of restaurants in town and our favorite breakfast place, Clutch and Throttle is a must go to. And make sure you visit the Gem Mercantile for your clothing needs or gifts to take back home. We are looking forward to another visit to Hotel Vienna in the future.

Misleading Listing - Hot Tub Legally Closed, Poor Conditions, and Pressured to Remove Review…read more I booked this stay in December mainly for the hot tub, but when we arrived, it was covered in snow and frozen, with a "Notice of Closure" sign SINCE OCTOBER. I learned it was actually shut down by New York State due to missing permits -- something never disclosed. At first, staff blamed the maintenance people and told us it was "safe to use" and would warm up in a few hours, once someone came to fix it. To accommodate us, they said that we can use the hot tub upstairs, and yes, other people were staying there. Another recent review mentions the same issues, so this isn't an isolated incident. And they've known that the hot tub was out of commission since October, so I'm not sure why they continue to advertise this place that it has a hot tub. On top of that, the experience getting in was frustrating: the place was extremely hard to find, the access code didn't work, and we had to rely on the building's Wi-Fi just to reach someone for a new code. Inside, the unit was not clean (dirty floors, dirt in the shower, no blankets), and the noise from upstairs was so loud we could hear every footstep, conversation, and personal relations. When I expressed how serious the hot tub issue was, amongst other things, they offered only 20% back on the condition that I remove my negative review, which is inappropriate, unethical, and illegal under consumer protection laws. Between the misleading listing, poor conditions, noise, and pressure to hide my honest experience, I cannot recommend staying here.

The recommendation to come to Albergo Allegria however, lived up to, and exceeded expectations. We experienced interesting, creative and delicious dishes, served with friendliness, warmth and pride. We were not alone, observing every other table, we saw similar reactions to the "Duffle" an omelette that carried flavor and texture that eclipsed any that we have had. Our children enjoyed the "Waff-cakes" a hybrid waffle pancake with whipped cream and preserves. Rounding out our selection was the Savory Lion, scrambled eggs and cheese that was decadent. Combine the food with a welcoming couple who own and operate, along with a staff that is attentive and courteous, and you have a destination that should not be missed. We also took a soup to go, Spiced Carrot Lentil, which proved to be just as delicious and hearty as our breakfast dishes.

My husband and I stayed here in February for a weekend getaway to Windham Mountain. When we arrived I was informed that the deal I was promised over the phone, which included free lift tickets to the mountain, was not applicable because it was Presidents "Week." Was I told this over the phone while booking? No. So I was already upset before we even went up to our room. And the price was not adjusted even though we now had to shell out money for lift tickets! The room was large with a separate living room area. I was actually impressed. Until I noticed the thump thump thump of someones loud music. I assumed it was our neighbors and it would eventually stop. So we left our room to get some food and drinks. We came back at night to discover that the music had not stopped and our room was in fact located over the kitchen of the attached restaurant. It was like 12am or 1am and the staff was cleaning up and blasting music right below our room. My husband was nice enough to go down to the front desk and ask for another room. The staff was not very accommodating, they acted like they couldn't move us, although they finally did thanks to my husband's persistence. The whole process took 30 minutes, which is ridiculous. Our new room was luckily much quieter - and MUCH smaller. So small that the door basically opened up into the wardrobe that held the TV. Was the price adjusted? No. We originally chose this place because of the promised shuttle to and from the mountain. It turns out that parking at the mountain is easy and free, so we never utilized the shuttle. I tried to the last day, when I didn't feel like skiing and I thought I could meet my husband at the mountain after he was done, but the shuttle apparently only goes FROM the mountain in the afternoon. Like dropping me off when you're going there to pick people up would be so difficult?? This place is rundown and poorly run. The staff is not friendly. Visit Rock & Mexicana, it's worth a trip, but DO NOT stay here. It is a waste of money.

We opted for a mountain view in the Evergreen building, which was stunning. Our room had a porch with wooden chairs that overlooked the golf course. The entrance also offered a peek of the creek on the other side of the building. Many of the guests were families with kids. The resort charges a fee, which gives you access to their plethora of activities on site including oak barrel saunas, pickle ball, e-bikes, hammocks, a wooden swing, and more. They also offer various classes and guided workshops such as tye dying, book folding, and cocktail making. They had a magic show and live music as well. S'mores kits could be purchased for $15 for two people. Our room was clean, with a modern bathroom. The shower got very, very hot. The thermostat worked well. They have a restaurant on site. There was also a few little…read moresurprises that were mostly because we didn't read the website description or dig thoroughly enough, so I will try to make this as helpful as possible! For reference, we stayed in one of the Lushna cabins that are best described as the size of a big teepee tent with one beautiful window wall. First surprise, I don't think were were fully expecting how small it was and that there is basically just a bed and then room for a bag or two. Yes, the bathrooms are detached and you have to go outside to get to them but they are a few feet away, private, and they keep them so incredibly warm that it was actually really nice in there. They are very spacious, have plenty of shelves and the shower is huge and luxurious. My bathroom at home honestly pales in comparison. There are two saunas on property but the one right outside of our cabin was not working, most likely because of how cold it was outside. It was a bummer, especially because we didn't want to trek to the other farther away one. We ate at Dandies, their on site restaurant, our first night and everything was incredible. Their staff was super friendly and lovely to chat with. We went back for the mulled wines more than once and stopped by in the AM for coffees before leaving for the day. It was great to have so close by. Our first morning we tried the breakfast basket and loved that it just appeared at our door. For $30 we got a Stanley thermos of coffee, hard boiled eggs, yogurt parfaits, OJ, and croissants. Nothing too crazy but I loved having a slow start to the day with breakfast in bed. Windham is filled with great places to eat, cute antique shops, a movie theater, bars, and is not far at all from other great towns. This wasn't a ski trip for us, but we never ran out of things to do. Yes, it was expensive and might not have fully felt like it was worth the price with all of the surprises, but we had an amazing time and we also got engaged over this weekend in this teeny tiny little teepee tent so my heart is full of love and 5 stars for everyone.

One of the amazing hotel employees recommended the curry ketchup and it was AMAZING. we took the bikes out, hiked, laid on the hammocks, etc. we don't want to leave. one thing i will add is that the acoustics are intense in the room. the room directly above us was having... a lot of fun in their bed for a lot of our trip... and it was so comically loud. shout out to them tho. they were feeling the romantic vibes too i guess. all in all very much recommend. i wish the door had a chain lock but other than that it was a perfect experience.
