Brought my tiny dog to get her nails cut. She does not bite, she wiggles. There is a method groomers use called burrito. They swaddle the dog in a towel with their paws out. I am assuming they do not do this because for over a week, she'd shreak when I attempted to pick her up. This never happened before, and I guess she was badly bruised from being squeezed too tightly. I have been going there for many years. This last time was absolutely awful. They out right lied to me. They only cut half the dog's hair and even that was uneven. Seriously, the face and half the sides and back had jagged edges. His paws were never touched. In all honesty, a four year old could have done a better job. Calling this haircut amateurish is an insult to amateurs everywhere. Needless to say, we will never return to this place. The owner left the state and left the shop in the hands of inexperienced incompetents. After showing my dog to the other 22 members of our canine club, none of us will be using them ever again. Mediocre service. Was told to come back in 2 hours and when i returned in 2 hours they looked at me like i was crazy for listening to them. Had to wait an extra 45 minutes in my car, because it didn't make sense to drive home. I don't care if the service takes 10 hours. If you give me a time frame I'll abide by it so you should too. I've been taking my dog Lucky to this "pet spa" for about 3 months now. They do an ok job. They do lack professionalism especially the younger lady who grooms the pets. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that I received for my puppy. My puppy came back hurt!!!!!! :( DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! This was my pups first time getting a haircut so I was extremely picky with where I was going to get it done. After reading some good reviews I thought I was going to be receiving great service - but I was wrong. First of all my appointment was 12:30 PM and when I got there they told me to come pick up my puppy in two hours, but when I came back in two hours exactly they told me they were not done due to the high demand and that they only had two tubs to work with and for me to come back in another 45 minutes. I thought that was unprofessional but I let it go. They said they were going to give me a call for when I should come to pick him up but I waited another hour and so and did not receive any calls. I ended up going back at 4:45 PM!!!!!! to the shop and and the woman at the front lied through her teeth and told me that they gave me a call and I did not pick up and they left me a voicemail. I had my phone on me the whole time and there was no such voicemail - I knew then that something fishy was happening. They went in and brought my baby out and he looked extremely extremely sad as if he was hurt. I couldn't really see his skin because of the dim lighting But when we got home I noticed the skin around his left eye was very red, my initial thought was maybe he got shampoo in his eye or something and that the redness would probably go away by the next day. But, it did not Dash it actually got worse and started forming a scab. It came to me that they must have hurt him and tried to cover it up by keeping him longer than usual so that the cut would go down and I wouldn't notice but it is extremely noticeable especially when I wipe his face with a baby wipe. I have no idea what they did but they for sure hurt my baby and I am never going to bring him there again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS read more

I was always very happy with this place until today. I don't know why you bother asking a customer how you want your dog's hair cut if you are going to do the complete opposite. I have a shihtzu and take pride in her beautiful coat. I specifically asked them not to cut the top of her head because I like to put bows in her hair and it has taken a very long time to grow her hair. She's only a year old. They have cut her hair numerous times before. I usually bring her there every 6 weeks. When I went to pick her up she was completely shaven, top of her head and all. The groomer then proceeded to say to me "let me bring her in the back and fix it". What was she going to do glue her hair back on??? I was really furious!!! Unfortunately, they lost a good customer, and we lost a groomer. read more

I've taken my pug to Christina's several times. For the most part, they were okay. They shaved his hair and he did love going in there. Recently, even though I've asked to give him a short shave his hair was really regular length walking out. I ignored it, figured maybe he was fussing and went on our way. We took him to Christina's last weekend and I specifically ask to always clean his ears being that he's a pug. They said they always do. I didn't look in his ears, just figured they were clean. This morning I wake up and he's scratching at his ears and looks so uncomfortable. I look- his ears are FILTHY. Red, irritated, disgusting. They didn't clean his ears. He's a house dog, he's not rolling around in dirt all day. Now today I will take him to our veterinarian because I'm afraid he has an ear infection. Needless to say, I will NEVER bring my pug back to this place. read more

Would not recommend at all as a result of their incompetence. We took our dog, Mocha, to get bathed and have both her nails and fur trimmed. After not receiving a call for 5 hours, we decided to show up and see how she was doing. Apparently, when we dropped her off, one of the workers wrote down our cell phone number incorrectly, so she was unable to contact us. When she brought out Mocha, I literally started crying. Mocha's fur was shaved off. We asked for a trim. Adding insult to injury, she was shaved unevenly. I would also like to make it known that this happened in winter, a few days after a snow storm. Therefore, Mocha has to endure the rest of the cold winter without a fur coat to keep her warm. read more

I would NOT recommend Christina's pet styles. They did a horrible job on my puppy. They cut her paw, and didn't tell me about it. They cut her fur down to the skin behind her ear when I called about it they said it was matted. This puppy is brushed quite often. They just did not want to take the time to comb it out. Took my dog to get groomed here, I have a tiny 2 pound yorkie , I was waiting in the groomers and heard a very loud yelp which she claims wasn't my dog. She claims it was another dog if that's true I guess they hurt all there dogs there anyways she comes out and says my dog moved and she got cut with the scissor I know for a fact that's not true because my dog does not move she stands there frozen when she's getting groomed the lady had no sympathy would never go here again. read more
