My interview experience was disappointing. I applied for a position and was given a 30-question…read moretest during my first interview without any prior notice or preparation. I was expected to know nearly everything about the position, which made me feel uncomfortable and inadequate rather than supported as a candidate. Additionally, I was not given a clear understanding of the training process, and it seemed that the company expected candidates to already have extensive knowledge of the position without providing adequate training. I believe the interview process could be improved by communicating expectations in advance and providing proper training for new employees.

We had high hopes after our initial meeting with Caleb, but everything went downhill from there…read more We understand the claims and repair process takes a while - especially during the busy storm season, but we first met with Caleb in mid-June 2017 and our roof was not completed until mid-August (in June we were told they were scheduling out 2-3 weeks). Other repairs were not finished until October. I'm convinced our repairs would still not be completed if I had not called the company each week to pester them. By the way - when they finally got our roof on their schedule, they were well past their busy season (according to Jess - the office manager). My main frustration with this company was that I had to call them to get status updates. If they had excellent customer service as they claim, they would have been updating me along the way. We agreed on work to be completed and materials with Caleb in June. Every couple of weeks, I had to explain to others within the company (or remind them) of the materials we wanted or the work we wanted done....even though it had all been written on the original work order. I was told several times that they were finally going to enter all of our requests into the system. I guess that never happened, because they actually never completed all the work. But we got the roof and garage door replaced, which were the most important items. According to the office manager, Caleb did not submit our original paper work (or check) to the office until August - so he held onto all of that for 1 1/2 to 2 months (which was why the company did not get us on the schedule in a timely manner). To make matters worse, the office manager, Jess, would apologize to me but in the same sentence would defend the poor customer service and actions of Caleb. He also kept explaining the claims process to me (as if that was the issue...and by the way, I only need it explained once), but then in the next sentence told me they were no longer swamped and could do our roof the next day if they had the materials. Overall this was an extremely frustrating experience with a company and employees that made a lot of mistakes on our transaction and didn't appear to care. Oh, and lets talk about a lack of integrity...apologizing and promising our situation is not the norm and promising the rest of the transaction will be different, and then everything was the same all the way to the end - mistakes, excuses, and lack of communication. Plus flat out lying - telling me one thing one week just to get me off the phone ("yes, the order has been placed with the vendor") to telling me a week or two later that they had just placed the order that day (and clearly not remembering the previous conversation). We were extremely disappointed throughout this entire transaction considering what they promised in the beginning. *Update: Jeff - thank you for your phone call and response. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out, apologize, and ask if there is anything you could do. I do wish that our project had been turned over to employees that had the time to communicate throughout the project and ensure a timely completion. There were a couple of instances where I was told I would receive a call from "Jeff" (not sure if they meant you or someone else) regarding the non-insurance work we wanted completed, but we never received that call. As I stated in my google review, it seems like this is not the norm for your company. Thank you again for reaching out.

We were putting our house on the market and I needed the windows to sparkle. Paneless Home Services responded right away and sent someone to give us an onsite estimate, which was really important to me so we had an accurate estimate of what it would cost to clean the windows. I decided to have them come out and even had to change the appointment once, which they accommodated with no issues. What I especially love about Paneless is I received an email and a text when the tech was on his way. I received a picture of the technician so I knew who would be coming. He worked quickly and even accommodated us having family in the house so he did certain windows at one time and then came back around to finish once the person had left. At one point it started raining outside, but the technician finished the work and everything looked wonderful. He also cleaned the screens and pointed out where there is condensation in our windows indicating we needed to get them sealed. I was thoroughly impressed by the service and everyone I was in contact with. I highly recommend and would absolutely use them again!

Pacific Roofing replaced the roof and gutters on our house back in 2022, right before we purchased…read moreit. When we walked into the house after buying it, we realized the entire house was filled with gas. The roofing company had pierced a gas line in the attic when they replaced the roof. The fire chief said we were extremely lucky the house did not blow up when we opened the door and turned on the lights. After some back and forth with Pacific Roofing, they agreed to pay for all repairs associated with fixing the gas line. Fast forward a few years, I realized that our gutters were not draining properly. After inspecting, I realized this was because Pacific Roofing did not replace all of the downspouts. They failed to replace one near our garage door and now whenever it rains hard, the water overflows in that area. I asked them to come out and see what they could do. They told me it was out of warranty and that I would need to pay for the repairs myself. This made sense to me, I had failed to notify them earlier. I talked to one of the roof specialists yesterday and he told me it would cost $125 to put in a new downspout, but that he would split the cost with me. I told him that worked for me. This morning I received this text from him: Mr. Joe, Some unforeseen circumstances have happened and I will be unable to facilitate your repair. I wish you luck in the future. Needless to say, I am quite frustrated with the service we received from this company.

NOT RECOMMENDED: - super SLOW (3x slower than other…read morecompanies) - lousy communication - cannot compete on price or speed (no competitive advantage) - IDGAF attitude from the owner, Brett - WASTED 3 days, wanted to waste 3 more days - DODGED a bullet with these guys RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES: - Anderson Roofing - First United Roofing Super slow and poor communication from Brett. This company along with Anderson Roofing and First United Roofing were all thoroughly vetted in the same process, including length of years in business. I submitted quote requests for all three simultaneously in the afternoon on THU 1/8/26. Before 24 hrs passed, the inspections are done and quotes were received from the other two companies. Owner Brett, on the other hand, only reached out to me on FRI 1/9, texted me on FRI 1/9, and responded to my text reply on MON 1/12. By MON 1/12, the two other companies had already called me, done inspections, sent quotes, and followed up again, so I asked Brett on MON 1/12 when I would get his quote. Brett smugly said it was "scheduled", as in still pending, and the quote would take another 2 days. Brett then made excuses that his company had been in business for 37 yrs, so I should be on their time and not the other way around. I had the other companies ready to move forward, yet I look stupid, because I'm waiting on smug and sleepy Brett taking his time, because the company has been around for 37 yrs. (Did Brett expect me to wait 37 yrs too??) Brett couldn't compete on speed and didn't want to compete on price, but I told him that all three companies were on equal footing, so ironically he may have to compete on price since he couldn't compete on speed. Smug sleepy Brett couldn't do that either, so he texted me back saying he declined to bid. Your company may have been in business for 37 yrs, but if you can't compete on price or speed then you are a dead in the water and won't last another 37 yrs. Brett, instead of acting like an owner, acted like a low-level minimum wage employee with an IDGAF attitude - wholly unworthy of my business. So glad I submitted quote requests simultaneously, so they have had the same amount of time allowing me to see who was serious and eager for my business. It's funny how the weed weeded itself out then after being exposed dropped out of the bidding process. UPDATE: Brett isn't the original owner and didn't start or found the company. The company was bought and sold one or more times. Brett is just the current owner, and he can't keep pace with the competition, so saying you've "been in business for 37 yrs" is really neither here or there.
