I highly compliment Joe Hall roofing on their work. The agent we originally met Trey, was quite friendly and efficient. After a problem with the insurance company arose, although for personal reasons, Trey was unable to meet them but his John (his boss) and Jason were glad to help Trey out and meet the insurance adjuster to resolve any problems that came up. Having had them recommended them to me by a quite reliable person, their efficiency and reliability makes me recommend them to others. When talking with Trey originally, the quality of product they provide will help us keep a good roof for a long time (weather provided), and at a fair price. I highly thank them for the great work they've done for me. read more

NOT RECOMMENDED: - super SLOW (3x slower than other companies) - lousy communication - cannot compete on price or speed (no competitive advantage) - IDGAF attitude from the owner, Brett - WASTED 3 days, wanted to waste 3 more days - DODGED a bullet with these guys RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES: - Anderson Roofing - First United Roofing Super slow and poor communication from Brett. This company along with Anderson Roofing and First United Roofing were all thoroughly vetted in the same process, including length of years in business. I submitted quote requests for all three simultaneously in the afternoon on THU 1/8/26. Before 24 hrs passed, the inspections are done and quotes were received from the other two companies. Owner Brett, on the other hand, only reached out to me on FRI 1/9, texted me on FRI 1/9, and responded to my text reply on MON 1/12. By MON 1/12, the two other companies had already called me, done inspections, sent quotes, and followed up again, so I asked Brett on MON 1/12 when I would get his quote. Brett smugly said it was "scheduled", as in still pending, and the quote would take another 2 days. Brett then made excuses that his company had been in business for 37 yrs, so I should be on their time and not the other way around. I had the other companies ready to move forward, yet I look stupid, because I'm waiting on smug and sleepy Brett taking his time, because the company has been around for 37 yrs. (Did Brett expect me to wait 37 yrs too??) Brett couldn't compete on speed and didn't want to compete on price, but I told him that all three companies were on equal footing, so ironically he may have to compete on price since he couldn't compete on speed. Smug sleepy Brett couldn't do that either, so he texted me back saying he declined to bid. Your company may have been in business for 37 yrs, but if you can't compete on price or speed then you are a dead in the water and won't last another 37 yrs. Brett, instead of acting like an owner, acted like a low-level minimum wage employee with an IDGAF attitude - wholly unworthy of my business. So glad I submitted quote requests simultaneously, so they have had the same amount of time allowing me to see who was serious and eager for my business. It's funny how the weed weeded itself out then after being exposed dropped out of the bidding process. UPDATE: Brett isn't the original owner and didn't start or found the company. The company was bought and sold one or more times. Brett is just the current owner, and he can't keep pace with the competition, so saying you've "been in business for 37 yrs" is really neither here or there. Company said they sent the contract "earlier in the week" to sign & didn't hear back so they cancelled the contract, which is false. They sent the contract 6/5/26, 10:49am (see photos) Then declined the contract THE SAME DAY, 11:29 am due to lack of communication. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS. No phone call, no follow up, nothing. I live in Washington State & flew down to meet them & pay them, since they don't take credit cards. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Don't waste your time. They will lie to gain your trust, then waste your time. read more

Just a great group of people! They are a local roofing company which has been in the community for 35 years. From start to finish they did a great job. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new roof. They are truly craftsman who pay great attention to the details! You won't be disappointed. read more

Worked with Derek Hall from beginning to job completion. Great communication and quality of work. Roof replacement, gutter replacement and fence cleaning and staining. All of the teams were personable and jobs were professionally completed. We used the impact resistant GAF shingles, which is a prudent decision, especially with the savings on homeowners insurance.Highly recommended. read more

i noticed a loose shingle in the front of my house. Joe hall came out and inspected entire roof, gave me an estimate. mind you, my roof was not leaking. 2 nights ago when it was raining for a while, 2 leaks in same area. there was no warranty on work done. They have "respectfully denied to do a bid for repair going forward". Do not use them. They don't care about their customers. I will have to pay a different roofer as well as pay to fix the damage inside caused by the leaks. Thanks for nothing Joe Hall Roofing. read more

I would not recommend using Joe Hall roofing. They damaged my AC unit while installing my roof. The on-site crew leader said they would pay for damages, but then the main office said that they would not. They claimed the AC was installed against building regulations, but when checking with the city I was told that the regulations for were not in place until 2006 so did not apply. The sales manager I spoke with also said that this type of damage commonly occurs and so they have a clause in their contract stating they are not responsible. I would think if this commonly occurred they would be professional enough to recognize where AC pipes are and take precautions so they don't cost their customers thousands of dollars in repairs. read more

One of their employees just flipped me off while they were in a company vehicle. Apparently I did not accelerate fast enough to suit them. Obviously would not recommend due to the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism they display to strangers. EDIT: The situation above DID happen but the GM Heather reached out to me to apologize and assure me that the situation had been taken care of. Her boss called me and I spoke with him as well. While I am disappointed that this happened in the first place, I find it very honorable the they took the situation so seriously and took such quick action. Their efforts are genuinely appreciated. read more

I have used Joe Hall now on at least 4-5 occasions over the last 20 years or so. I'm always very satisfied with their work, professionalism and pricing. They are definitely my go to company when it comes to roof repairs. I highly recommend you consider using Joe Hall Roofing for any roof repairs or if you just need a new roof. read more

I had my roofing completely replaced on my home in December 2020 and I'm totally satisfied with the work done on the project. The pricing was competitive, the qualify of work and crew was really impressive, and they handled all of the details in a very professional manner. I was able to work with Brett Hall on the project and that was fantastic, due to his experience and expertise. They also helped us decide to upgrade the gutters and downspouts, which turned out great. We used the hail resistant GAF shingles, which is a prudent decision, especially with the savings on homeowners insurance. I would say 5 or 6 stars is the correct rating for this company based on our experience. Highly recommended! read more

This is the second roof Joe Hall Roofing has installed for us in the last 10 years. The need for both roofs was due storm hail damage. We are very particular on who we let work on our house and Joe Hall roofing gets 6 stars from us. The last roof was needed due to hail damage that was discovered a week before we were to close on a house we had sold. Brett Hall and his team were able to get us on their very busy calendar in time to meet our closing date. Additionally, they provided us with the knowledge and facts to ensure we got the highest payout from our insurer, minimizing our out-of-pocket deductible costs. In fact, Brett ensured that the same team that installed our first roof in 2011 did our re-roof last month. How many companies that you work with keep their employees for decades! If you need any type of roofing or related repairs Joe Hall Roofing is the company to call! read more

We had our metal roof replaced with Joe Hall Roofing and had a great experience! Josh was amazing to work with from assisting me navigate my first insurance claim, to being extremely prompt and responsive, to checking in before-during-after the project was complete. He was on top of it every step of the way! Would (and have) recommend if you are needing a roof replacement or repair. read more

We needed some squirrel exclusion work done and took bids. Joe Hall Roofing's bid was hirer than others, but we thought we would pay extra in order to have a job well done. They said they did this kind of work all the time. A three man crew showed up. After 1/2 an hour, they had put up some mesh held with screws which they sealed. I was surprised that they used the same mesh ($7 a roll) that I had in the house and not some strong critter mesh. Then they put in 4 pieces of flashing (@ 52 cents each). They recommended that I seal the edges of the flashing because they had run out of sealant ($9 a tube) after sealing 6 screws. They left. The cost : $450. read more

Update- The response from this business is not accurate and just reaffirms my review. We won't use again. Can not recommend. The roof is nice and I'm confident that it will last but it is the WRONG color. That's right, they installed the wrong color roof. I brought this up repeatedly and there sales guy told me the color choice was just a "he said, she said" thing. Had they offered some sort of allowance or price reduction we could have worked through it. I guess money is more important. read more

Joe Hall Roofing is great to work with! Derek came and evaluated our roof after we experienced hail damage. He was thorough and explained everything to us every step of the way. Jon H. worked with us on getting our house re-roofed. He made several trips to our home. He negotiated with the insurance co. and got two upgrades after he provided them with photos and roof samples. On roofing day roofers arrived at the appointed time. Five men were assigned to our home. Three on the roof, one was a driver and roofer and the fifth man remained on the ground for clean-up. Everyone seemed to know exactly what they were doing. It was a big job (two full trailers of old roofing/trash) and the job took two days with men working all day. New roof; new skylights and all new flashing. It looks great. They even cleaned the gutters of old roof debris and granules during the process . read more

I recently purchased a home that Joe Hall Roofing roofed a few years before we purchased it. While up in the attic in our new home, I noticed that Joe Hall never installed a turbine vent where the roof was cut out for one. They just shingled over the hole. I verified that a turbine was paid for by looking at the invoice and counting the turbines on the roof. One was missing from the count on the invoice. Then, I called the company, went through great lengths to explain and show them (sent pics) what they had not completed. After waiting over a week for a return call, they finally agreed to fix it. After several more weeks of not hearing back from them to schedule the repair, I had the problem fixed by another roofer I have used in the past with good results. My roofer also found vent tops for gas exhaust that were taped on with duct tape (should have been screwed) and then tape painted over. I WOULD NOT Joe Hall Roofing. I had Joe Hall Roofing install half of my roof about 8 years ago because they are GAF Certified. Big mistake. I am having my roof re-roofed and the side that Joe Hall Roofing installed has 6 sheets of plywood that are completely rotted. The other half of the roof, which is about 20 years old and had been replaced by another company, is in much better condition and all of the decking was in great shape. I will never do business with Joe Hall roofing again. Aside from really bad weather tearing off shingles, which in my case, they weren't, there is no reason that 6 sheets of plywood should be completely rotted. One should not have to replace a 25 roof after just 8 years. This was an expensive lesson in making sure one chooses the right roofing company. Irony...initially, after confirmation from my insurance adjuster that I needed a new roof, Joe Hall Roofing was one of the companies I called to come give me an estimate. Their sales representative called me 3 days later and I told him that I had already contracted Elite Roofing in Fort Worth who is also GAF certified and guarantees their roofs. I now realize as a consumer of a high-ticket expense, how very important it is to take your time, do your homework, and pick a roofing company that is focused on getting you the true life of your investment and roof. read more
