I went to the billing dept. and was told the same. I explained this couldn't be right, because I had not been to a dentist this year. I asked when they verified my insurance and was told earlier in the morning. I was told I would have to pay upfront ($96.00) for the cleaning. I left and contacted my insurance company. The insurance company stated I had all benefits available for the year and that's what they provided to Southern Dentistry. Not sure what is going on, but I will not be going back to them.

I received a bill for services performed on January 27th. I paid upfront & again when leaving because they had to do "more than anticipate". Then 8 months later they are trying to bill me again almost half as much again as what I've already paid them.

I haven't been to a dentist in a while, as I have no health insurance, and I've NEVER had a tooth extracted, so I was understandably nervous. It didn't help that my brother told me a horror story about having four wisdom teeth out at once. I was literally so nervous that when I went to the bathroom I cried. But I needn't have been. The dentist was personable. He listened to me when I told him I'm pretty immune to local anesthetic and he gave me a lot and made sure I was good and numb before he did anything. He told me it might be fifteen minutes, it might be thirty seconds. Thanks be to Jesus it was thirty seconds! They got me out of there quickly and my pocketbook was only $140 thinner. Now mind you it can be up to $250, like I said mine happened to be quick and easy. Their website will tell you all the costs. They DO NOT take any insurance here. This is a place specifically for the uninsured. So if you have ins. This isn't the place for you. But if you're like me - either self employed, or you're healthy and don't want to pay into the pyramid scheme scam of health insurance in this country, this is the place for you. I'm very grateful. I went to Dr Hanson for a crown after my root canal. Everyone in the office was very nice, so I'm…read moregiving 2 stars. When the crown was applied it was not seated all the way down against the ledge on my tooth, so every time I ate food got stuck in the channel between my tooth and the crown. I returned to Dr Hanson to have my teeth cleaned and to have the crown assessed. He determined that the gap was too large and it should be replaced, and another crown was ordered and I was not charged for the replacement. Sadly food is also getting caught under the new crown just as badly as it was with the first one. I have a 10 year old crown (from Oregon) right above it and I've never ever had any issues with it. I called Dr Hansons office to let them know that the problem persists and now 5 days later nobody has returned my call. Now I have collectively paid $2000 for a root canal and a crown and I still have to floss that crown every single time I eat anything, so mostly I end up chewing my food on the other side of my mouth. I'm terribly disappointed.

He's on the road with a band on tour, and they were only going to be in Daphne today for a few hours starting at 2pm. Early this morning, his temporary filling from his dentist in LA shifted in a bad way. (Not the dentist's fault at all; my bf should have gone back to his dentist by now, but he's always on the road. It's a problem.) Receptionist was awesome. Squeezed him in for 4:30. At 5:15 my boyfriend texted me: "The dentist was great! Super nice man. They were all so nice. My tooth feels really good and comfortable." He paid out-of-pocket (no dental insurance) and it was very reasonable. (About half the amount that I'd guessed.) It was such a good feeling, being able to send him to a brand new place (new city, don't know anyone) and have him taken care of so well. I'm so thankful to yelp and for people like this dentist and receptionist, who really listen and care and just make life better.

Dr. Perdomo is a very skilled professional and very nice too. When you retire and go on Medicare you will not have Dental insurance unless you buy it. For major work, you can be "private pay" (lower price) or buy Dental insurance and wind up with about the same out-of-pocket expense. Dr Perdomo's staff led me through what would be the best option for me, thank you Milestone Family Dentistry, you guys are awesome! BTW, the end result of the work done on me is amazing, I'm very happy.

I simply can't say enough good things about this dentist office. The entire staff was beyond awesome. Dr. Barberi and her assistant both took a great amount of time with me explaining what all I needed to have done in the near future. My teeth are in bad shape. I had to have a tooth pulled today and not only did I have zero pain, but I also didn't know when my tooth was pulled, meaning, I felt nothing at all. No tugging, no nothing. It just came out, and very quickly I might add! The only thing that hurt a tad was the numbing injection, but that was because I had to have one done in the roof of my mouth. But, other than that, I felt nothing at all. The entire staff is caring, helpful and very sweet! Like I said, I can't recommend them enough!!! They showed a great amount of concern over my financial situation and helped me come up with an awesome plan that I'm pretty sure I can handle. They are ALL simply amazing!!!
