I've since moved to FL and now TX and have seen two other dentists. Both dentists were very kind and experienced and asked me who did my fillings because they are perfect! Just goes to slow that Dr. P is phenomenal at her job. I miss her her team and her beautiful office to pieces. read more

This is a really great Dental practice with a fun, caring staff! I'm 68 years old and am a nighttime teeth grinder, it has done some damage and I had a lot of work done here. Dr. Perdomo is a very skilled professional and very nice too. When you retire and go on Medicare you will not have Dental insurance unless you buy it. For major work, you can be "private pay" (lower price) or buy Dental insurance and wind up with about the same out-of-pocket expense. Dr Perdomo's staff led me through what would be the best option for me, thank you Milestone Family Dentistry, you guys are awesome! What a fantastic dentist! Dr Watts is gracious, polite and super friendly. She's very thorough as well. What a gem! So glad I found her.

They do the most expensive treatment to get more money. They do extra X-rays knowing that insurance will not cover them, so you have to pay more. They're all about getting more money from you. Then, once the work is done, you're in pain and can't eat on that side of your mouth and have to go to a different dentist to get what they messed up fixed. It feels like a wonderful dentist when you first start going there, but you soon realize that it's a fake persona and that they're trying to cover for a dentist who is inexperienced. read more

This is a cautionary review. I went to the practice of Dr. Watts as she was a provider for my dental insurance. The surface of an existing bridge had chipped. I was greeted by an overly eager staff to make me feel comfortable. The hygienist took x-rays of my entire mouth and then presented me with a treatment plan. All that happened and I had not even met the dentist. 45 minutes into the visit, I finally met the dentist. She took a passing glance at the bridge and said she agreed with the treatment plan presented by the hygienist. I inquired about insurance coverage with Donnie, the office manager/insurance person. She confirmed that they were indeed a provider for my particular insurance and she would contact them. She reported that they would pay the allowed amount for the replacement of the bridge. I returned to the office for the temporary bridge. The hygienist struggled to remove the old bridge, again I have not seen the dentist. She finally asked the dentist for assistance. Bridge removed, impression made, temporary bridge in place. Dentist said she would call later to check on me. No call ever came. 1 week into the 3 week wait for the permanent bridge, the temporary bridge broke. I contacted the office, left 2 messages for a return call. No call ever came. I contacted the office the next day and was told there were no appointments available for several days. I explained that part of the bridge was still attached with a sharp edge that was cutting my mouth. After much heated debate, I saw the dentist that afternoon. For an office that was so busy...there was not one single patient in the office! Dr. Watts and the hygienist chastised me and said that I had obviously eaten something hard that caused the problem. I ate nothing but soup and a soft diet for fear of a problem since the placement of the temporary. A new temporary bridge was made. Temporary replaced. I finally got the permanent bridge put it. The next shocker would come in the form of the statement from my insurance company. They did not pay any toward the bridge as there was a waiting period on that kind of work. I contacted the insurance company only to find out that the office manager Donnie had been told that there would be no payment for the bridge. They provided the date, time and transcript of the conversation. Can you say...false pretense? When I called Donnie, she denied any such conversation. I told her had I known that there would be no payment from the insurance company, I would not have had the procedure, as the bridge was functional, just not cosmetically pleasing. She told me my balance and hung up on me. I received a statement indicating a 'credit adjustment' and a new amount due. On the heels of that statement I received a notice demanding immediate payment in full or the threat of collection. I contacted the practice, spoke to Donnie who was very condescending. I asked to speak to Dr. Watts. Donnie said she would have her call me. Donnie then called back and said that Dr. Watts refused to talk to patients regarding financial matters. In the end, I paid the balance. Do not be fooled by the nice office, televisions and lavender scented towelettes. In my opinion, Dr. Watts and her office staff are completely unethical, untrustworthy and deceptive in practice. Update to this post: The bridge broke! I paid another dentist $3500 to replace it! Staff is nice, but as I've read in another review, something seems off with the place. Maybe it's over compensation, or trying to cover for an inexperienced dentist, I don't quite know. I do know that I'll be going somewhere else the next time I need serious dental work completed. read more

The dentist is very aggressive in her treatment plans. After two second opinions on the almost $5000 treatment plan she gave me, both dentists said none of this work was urgent and could be done over time, especially since I was not experiencing any pain. The crowns she did for my husband had to be redone by another dentist after she gave up on ever getting his retainer to fit. She told him that his retainer was old, broken and needed to be replaced. It took several phone calls to finally get our records transferred to our new dentist. Check her complaint records at the Board of Dental Examiners of Alabama. Be careful. read more

Great decorating; offers Netflix or YouTube while in dental chair. Staff is friendly to the patients, forgives tardiness and rescheduling, offers same day appointments, nice dental chairs, Dr. calls after a big procedure, the place and staff seem hygienic, and I like that metal filings are not used; but, something is off...like an over compensation or fake-ness. There are a lot of techniques to foster calmness and pampering. Ex. Procedure 'rooms' are called 'suites'; lavender scented towels; very friendly staff; grass blowing in the wind on the lobby tv, blankets provided. I like the place and dr Watts, but I can't shake the feeling that something is amiss. After not using her specialist referrals, i wondered whether she had been expecting a referral compensation from those people to whom I was referred. After having two of her assistants during my appointments, I wondered if her assistants were licensed dental assistants or whether AL even required that training. For example: I had large fillings replaced on two back teeth, both teeth received temp crowns. In the day when the permanent crowns were to be placed, the assistant tried to remove the temporary crowns- on two live teeth(no root canals)-without anesthesia. That method is not common practice. The tooth could have been damaged and led to needing a root canal. Plus, the pain was gut wrenching. After the first attempt left me nauseous, anesthesia was applied. A couple of minutes later, even after I told the assistant that I wasn't numb, she tried again and it hurt so incredibly bad that I got up to leave. She thought that, without anesthesia, I should only feel pressure while she tried to wiggle off a temp crown that covered a live tooth. Dr Watts didn't correct the assistant on her method of removing a temporary crown. In my first appointment, a different assistant diagnosed all of the repairs I needed right after taking the xrays and she didn't provide treatment options. Dr Watts wasn't the first person to tell me the damage. Assistant told me to remove a tooth and get a bridge. An implant wasn't offered as an option. Maybe it's just me being anxious or untrusting of a dentist whom is new to me, but I know that I don't feel the same level- or the same continued- nervousness at other new dentists or specialists. I really like dr Watts, but I can't figure out why I can't get relaxed in that place. read more

I am a new patient relocated to Daphne and made an appointment to get established. I had an appointment for 8:30 Friday morning and was there at 8:15. The office was not opened. I waited there while calling the number to the office, getting the voicemail, and leaving a message that I took off work today for this visit and had a chipped front tooth. I waited until 9:30 and give up. I did continue to call and finally got an answer in the office after 10:00. The person on the phone stated that I did not give them a contact number, which I did and an e-mail, to call me because something came up and the dentist could not be there. I stated to her that I did give her my number and e-mail address and that no one contacted me and that the hours stated on the voicemail specifically states that they are open on Fridays from 8:00 until 12:00 so even if there was "something that came up" that a clerk staff should have been there at 8:00 to let the person having the appointment know that they could not bee seen that day. My appointment was 8:30 om 10/4/2019. All she could say was I'm sorry but I'm sorry will cost me to have to take another day of my PTO time from work and a poor rating for my experience. read more

I am very happy with the care and treatment that I received from Dr. Perdomo-Watts, Pat, and the staff at Milestone Family Dentistry. Due to a prior bad experience with a dentist, I had put off going to the dentist until my deteriorating tooth demanded attention. I was impressed that they made room on their schedule to see me on short notice. The office itself is very relaxing with its blue color scheme, aromatherapy, music, and televised pictures of nature. Pat is very warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Dr. Perdomo-Watts provided a detailed treatment plan with payment plan and pictures/xrays/diagrams of my teeth so that I could clearly understand what was being performed. Pain management was excellent as I did not feel anything during the removal of my tooth. I am very grateful to Dr. Perdomo-Watts, Pat, and the staff and Milestone Dentistry and I am happy to have found a new dentist! read more

I tried rescheduling my appointment with y'all and the computers weren't "up and running" to reschedule me so I had to wait 2 days before I finally gave y'all a ring back to see when y'all could fit me in before I was going out of town to find that Olivia had no times to fit me in and canceled the original appointment all together, which I did not say to cancel but to reschedule an earlier appointment IF possible. Finally she rescheduled me an hour later when she had the computer working and was very polite, however an hour before my appointment for two in the afternoon Olivia called stating "we are running behind with our appointments could you come in more towards 3" I politely said sure and that it was fine and she did apologize but I was starting to get agitated. Then I came around 2:40PM to find the doors of the building were locked and no one was at the reception desk. I gave 4 calls to the front and heard that the hours to be opened were indeed mon-thurs 8AM-5PM and should've been open. I waited until 3:01 and finally left after being infuriated that the doors were locked and I could not even wait inside. I decided to keep calling the front to see when y'all would actually answer and at 3:06PM Patricia finally answered and I said I would like to cancel the appointment as I had shopping and other matters to attend to being 4 days before Christmas! She then apologized and said "I'm sorry we were all at a "luncheon" and pulled up right at 3:01 when you left" that there gave away that y'all lied to a patient pushing my appointment, that had already been changed once, back another hour just so that y'all could have a Christmas lunch party. I will never be back and nor will my family members. I will have my records transferred to a new trustworthy dentistry that communicates hopefully better than you're group. read more
