I was referred to Dr. Manilakis for a possible root canal. I had seen them two years previously…read more My insurance had changed. On the day of my appointment, I had to fill out new paperwork and handed then my new insurance card . The receptionist assumed that my new insurance was secondary but never asked me. I was charged a few hundred dollars for a scan that was not covered under insurance. I found out the next day that my current insurance was out of network. The dentist in network that could see me was not able to download the films because he did not have the correct softoware. I would have had to pay out of pocket for new films but the new dentist felt bad that this happened to me and waived the charge. Dr. Manoakis's office manager told me I could not be reimbursed and they would not transfer the money I had paid for the scan to the new dentist. Terrible customer service. They accepted no responsibility for this mistake. Both my primary dentist and the second specialist have told me they always check the insurance before proceeding. No matter how good Dr. Manila is is , I would never go back if this is how people are treated.

Dr. Harrell is a very kind, gentle and knowledgeable dentist. He takes his time with his patients…read moreand does not make you feel rushed. Your concerns are important to him and he explains everything in clear language so you understand. One of my favorite things about Dr. Harrell is he is not the type of dentist that recommends unnecessary procedures. He is committed to your oral health and what is best for you, not necessarily what is best for his checking account. I recommend Dr. Harrell and understand why his patients see him for 30+ years and then send their children to see him as well. The staff was also very professional and nice. I will continue to be a patient.

I Was Never Called Back! As someone on Social Security, called last time to pay the over $600.00 bill then told them Remove Me From Files because I Won't Be Back! Told them going leave review this experience everywhere available! Everyone involved should be reprimanded by the ownership because I'm informing everyone, it's a risk going Grelot Dental and it may cost you like I was, then completely ignored by office managemen!
