I simply can't say enough good things about this dentist office. The entire staff was beyond awesome. Dr. Barberi and her assistant both took a great amount of time with me explaining what all I needed to have done in the near future. My teeth are in bad shape. I had to have a tooth pulled today and not only did I have zero pain, but I also didn't know when my tooth was pulled, meaning, I felt nothing at all. No tugging, no nothing. It just came out, and very quickly I might add! The only thing that hurt a tad was the numbing injection, but that was because I had to have one done in the roof of my mouth. But, other than that, I felt nothing at all. The entire staff is caring, helpful and very sweet! Like I said, I can't recommend them enough!!! They showed a great amount of concern over my financial situation and helped me come up with an awesome plan that I'm pretty sure I can handle. They are ALL simply amazing!!!

He's on the road with a band on tour, and they were only going to be in Daphne today for a few hours starting at 2pm. Early this morning, his temporary filling from his dentist in LA shifted in a bad way. (Not the dentist's fault at all; my bf should have gone back to his dentist by now, but he's always on the road. It's a problem.) Receptionist was awesome. Squeezed him in for 4:30. At 5:15 my boyfriend texted me: "The dentist was great! Super nice man. They were all so nice. My tooth feels really good and comfortable." He paid out-of-pocket (no dental insurance) and it was very reasonable. (About half the amount that I'd guessed.) It was such a good feeling, being able to send him to a brand new place (new city, don't know anyone) and have him taken care of so well. I'm so thankful to yelp and for people like this dentist and receptionist, who really listen and care and just make life better.

When I went for that consultation I had to pay a fee for the privilege and then he spent a couple of minutes with me. I told him that I did not want to be put under for the extraction and he flat out told me that was impossible, and ridiculous. So, I really began to be nervous. I went to Dr. Bondurant for another consultation and voiced the same concerns. He said, "You can do whatever makes you the most comfortable." And I did. I just had my mouth numb and Dr. Bondurant really had to work because their was bone involved, but I was in and out in 20 minutes, and I walked to my car. He called me that evening and was just great. I like a doctor who is confident enough to do things in a way that may be more difficult, but leaves it up to the patient to decide. He was competent, friendly, and best of all, effective in his practice.

My complaints would be, you never know which DR. you will be seeing for each appointment. I would feel more at ease seeing the same DR. each time I visit. I also feel that the manager or whoever is responsible for the phone service should get it straight. I called for 3 days, numerous times leaving messages with no return call. Finally my husband drove to the office to set me an appointment. The next available time to get me in was 1 week away. I was in pain, but had no choice but to take pain medication and wait it out. When I arrived for my appointment I was informed that there was problems with the phones. I hope that Jakayla and Regina stay with Aspen and are rewarded for their Professionalism, competence, work ethics, and courtesy. Then they get me out of the chair and take me to this weird waiting room, and the girl says she's "trying to see if the dentist has any appointments today"? WHAT. Tells me he can fix it but hell have to squeeze me in and it will be a couple hours. My "appointment" I made to come right in was only to see what's wrong, not do any work. Translation...run my insurance and get paid for the visit, X-rays, etc etc and then bump the real work off.

After moving to Fairhope, I went to this dentist based on proximity to my house. I went in for an…read moreannual check up with no current issues. They took the batch of typical X-rays and the next thing the dentist came in and suggested the removal of a tooth next to a dental implant. This is the first dentist I know that has ever suggested not saving a tooth. I contacted my old dentist from another state who took a look at my X-rays they had on file from just a couple months ago and he didn't see the logic. Furthermore, he advised that removing a tooth next to an implant actually causes more harm than good. Added to the insult, the dentist suggested the complete replacement of a perfectly good crown on the implant...a procedure which is NOT covered by insurance vs a "repair" which is covered. I guess some dentists see a couple of implants and think they can get more $$. I have had a lot of dental work done due to an accident so I know probably more about dentists than I care to admit. So, my best advice is to shop around...not all dentists are created equal. Even though dental insurance is pretty crappy, most dentists understand and work with insurance companies. Save your money and shop around and don't ever go to a dentist that suggest replacing perfectly good dental work just to get an extra dollar.
