Because of the recommendation of the dentistry I normally patronize, I went to Baldwin dentures on May 13, 2020. The receptionist, who also turned out to be one of the dental assistants, was initially cold and leery, but I really should not hold that against her since I was an absolute stranger to her and given the vulnerability she and other had due to the pandemic; therefore, her militaristic approach was justifiable. Once she unlocked the door, directed me to apply hand sanitizer, took my temperature, and directed me to fill out the information from the sheets on the clipboard, she then guided me to a dental treatment room and dental seat. She shortly thereafter gave me hydrogen peroxide for rinsing out my mouth. She did begin to warm up after I had been there for a little while. The dentist himself was equally procedural but gracious. He carefully explained every part of what he deemed was necessary as well as my options. I consented too his recommendation for a filling. The procedure did not take long, and it was almost completely painless. The dental assistant graciously answered my questions regarding the aftermath of my procedure, then she ushered me to the cashier. read more
