Dr. Lewicky was my 2nd opinion. When I asked if I would get a 100% recovery, the 1st doc said people "my age" should only expect 80%. Dr. Lewicky, however, said I might even recover OVER 100%, since he might be able to fix what was wrong before the accident. Plus, he was very engaged in our meetings and seemed to care about how much I wanted my active life to continue. His optimism and passion helped give me the right attitude, and by 3-4 months into rehab I was indeed better than before. As of 6 months, my shoulders are better than ever. Good doctors are skilled. Amber Randall, M.D., is no longer practicing in Tempe and is no longer affiliated with the group…read morethat one of the reviewers complained about--a review which should be removed, as it has nothing to do with the doctor. Currently she is in Flagstaff, AZ. Dr. Randall is by far the best orthopedist in Arizona, if not the whole southwest, and an incredible expert in her field. So far she has replaced one of my hips (2023) and one of my knees (2025). I could not ask for a better surgeon! Yes, some office staff and procedures in her previous offices and some of the hospitals where she operated in the past were disappointing, but this review is not about them. The doctor herself and her assistant, Derek, are stellar! She chooses to offer her surgeries at hospitals with the best anesthetists, which is a vital component when having an operation. Appointments can feel brisk, as Dr. Randall is efficient, but she is also kind and phenomenally skilled. With her background (Harvard-trained), her experience, and her mastery, you--and your knees and hips!--will be fortunate to have her as your surgeon!

I did some research and found the Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, Just north of Sedona AZ, where I live. I found J. Michael Glover, MD. I got an appointment and had the best encounter with him and his staff that I have ever had in any hospital or clinic. Everyone I made contact with, over 30 deople, from the day I called to the present day has been very helpful. Dr Glover and I viewed my MRI and he pointed out Stenosis in my L4-L5-S1 region. After he performed the Lumbar Laminectomy surgery, the care and attention I received was the best I could ever hope for. It seemed like I only had to think about what I wanted and there it was. Dr. Glover has excellent recommendations and I am one of them. His staff and hospital personnel are the greatest. I am improving every day and look forward to getting back to tennis and golf. Dr. Moezzi understood that my goal was getting scheduled for a knee replacement having had years of injections. He confirmed my need for surgery and discussed the usual postop course.
