After a brief exam, Wes informed me he believed a torn labrum to be the cause of my hip pain. He ordered imaging after which I was thrown into a circle of back-and-forth opinions as to whether or not the labrum was indeed torn. Fast forward 6 months of continued pain and disagreement between specialists, and I made the decision to undergo hip arthroscopy to get a better look and fix the possible tear in my labrum. After surgery, I awoke the the information that not only did I indeed have 2 labral tears but also a case of FAI as well. I cannot thank Wes and Hypo2 enough for making the initial diagnosis of my labral tears and giving me the confidence I needed to undergo the procedure to have them fixed. Hypo2 is the real deal and will be the first place I turn to with any and all injuries in my running career.

I had glute amnesia and all my other muscles that I had been trying to run with were so very painful and tight. After a few meetings I started feeling that I was improving . I had hardly any muscle tone on the gluten muscles needed to run efficiently. Strength training snd rolling was very important- I'm now running extensively and scheduled for my second ultra race and a 100 miler this winter. I love what Wes does and two of my running friends have literally drove from Phoenix to meet with him concerning their running issues. Without him I'm sure I'd still be working the aid stations for everyone else's race- now I'm running my own.

I can't say enough about him. He truly has improved my quality of life and trust me that's not easy to do. So off I went to see Dr. Weathersby and then I made it into work and am feeling so much better. He just knows how to help! I can't say enough good things about him. Before coming to see Gibby I had a pretty regular history of chronic lower back pain, resulting…read morefrom an old construction injury. The pain and mobility in my back varied a lot from just a mild but constant dull ache, to barely being able to walk around. Most often if I had any sort of physical labor to do for any regular period of time, my back would flare up. At its worst, I ended up spending about a month in a fair amount of pain, and not being able to get around very easily. At that point I ended up seeing a naturopathic doctor in Prescott for prolo injections to try to help heal some of the affected ligament tissue. After that, he had recommended having some body work done to try to deal with some of the resultant structural issues from the old injury. So, I decided to go through a full series with Gibby. I started noticing a difference in my body after the first few sessions. I'd still have little flare ups but the big difference immediately was that I was able to do some stretching and actually get a relief from it--that had never happened before. My recovery time went from potentially weeks to less than an hour. As we continued through the series my flexibility, range of motion, and comfort in my body only got better. I started running again with an ease I hadn't felt for a long time. I spent most of the year after our last session at work milling lumber and doing construction to build my own house. I had some doubts about whether or not I'd be able to handle that kind of sustained physical labor again without another injury--I'd still experience soreness and stiffness throughout the project (perhaps obviously) but never the kind of pain or immobility like I had before. I attribute a lot of that resilience to Gibby's work. I certainly would've come in for some maintenance sessions by now, were I not living on the other side of the country!

I've been coming to Summit for adjustments for years & Nathan Belcher is the best. Always feel so…read moremuch better after; it really makes such a difference. I've got a ton of medical issues & nearly all of them are painful - just lucky like that - but getting regular massages or chiropractic adjustments really help with a myriad of things for me. I've been extremely impressed that after just 15 minutes of chiropractic care I feel at least as good as after an hour or hour and a half of massage, on average. So that's kind of crazy, but in the most positive way. I'm a huge fan of efficiency & getting 1-1.5 hr(s) of muscular/migraine/etc relief (for me personally, since everyone's body is different) in ~15 minutes just feels like a win. Yesterday I felt that odd, cathartic happy-slow brained response I get after a really fantastic massage session too which is a great sign, albeit not great for making conversation after. Don't get me wrong, massage & chiropractic care are so vastly different fields but it's been the best comparison I can think of to describe it's effectiveness to others. Everyone I've ever encountered at this office is super nice & that makes such a great difference in the overall experience as well. Very much appreciated. I recommend anyone give this business a try! Tip: suggest coming in a bit early for each appointment as they have a check-in process to describe current pain points & types for the most accurate care possible. I tend to arrive to things either way too early or on time (therefore late in some people's books) so it's best when I'm able to focus on getting there early rather than on-the-dot lol, so wanted to share the friendly tip.
