I have seen multiple instances where people are rude and don't answer questions and they are still patient and caring. It's not hard to answer the questions and fill out the paperwork given. We were in flagstaff and my back was hurting from the hotel bed. I went to the joint for a visit and the girl at the desk (Avery) was super sweet and explained all the different package options that were available and even let me know how I could use fsa to pay. The doctor was really great and I felt like the office was very clean. It did not take long to be seen and the best part was I actually felt so much better after. Dr. Leah is wonderful! Both my husband and I saw her as new patients with fairly significant back issues, and I have pretty bad TMJ. She listens well and went over all of our concerns and issues. After the adjustment we both left feeling better than we have in years. She explained every step of what she was doing and why, and just has a great demeanor overall. From what I saw while there most patients seem to have a great rapport with all of the providers. The front desk staff is very helpful and upfront about wait times and cost as well. Kino was absolutely awful. He adjusted my daughter and I with no pressure, only weird grunting. He refused to adjust my shoulders that I'm in pain. Nothing in my back moved at all and I left with badly aligned hips and a headache. When I told him it wasn't a good adjustment he dismissed it saying I don't understand my body. I have had chiropractic care for 14 years weekly seeing many chiros all over the country because we travel fulltime. I know when my body is in alignment. My daughter also had an awful adjustment so we stopped and didn't let him adjust the rest of the family, asking the other doctor to adjust us instead. I begged for pain relief for my shoulders only since Kino didn't touch them and he showed zero care or compassion. Brandon flat refused to adjust us saying "he needed to watch out for himself" and didn't want liability of adjusting my family after Kino. I think he knows how awful Kino is. Brandon was SO RUDE to our family. I've never been talked to like that by a joint employee. 2 hour drive for nothing, feel worse and was treated horribly. Stay far away from this one! read more

I have a membership that I got at a Phoenix location. When I started I had a great experience in Phoenix, and I was very excited to bring my boyfriend to the Flagstaff location. We walked in, and immediately Briana, an office assistant, was extremely unkind and rude. She asked if he had a work related injury and when we asked why they ask that, her response was "Do you have a work related injury was the question" as she rolled her eyes and didn't even look at us. My boyfriend said no, she gave him the iPad to fill out his information and told him to move before he could even grab the iPad claiming "I need this work area clear" when we were literally the only people in the office. This changed his mind on getting a membership after the appointment and I will no longer keep my membership once my month is over. As someone who has worked in customer experience, those who greet members should understand what their role is as a provider and how they should treat paying customers. I am a regular at the Joint in Scottsdale at Hilton Village and I love that location. I know what to expect from a visit to this business. My experience was disappointing as well as unprofessional. I called this Flagstaff office to tell them I was coming in and to check the hours as I was driving from Snowbowl. The receptionist confirmed they were opened until 7:00pm ( mentioned nothing about being closed for a break). When I arrived at 2:20pm, the door was locked. The receptionist wasn't apologetic about sending me over during their break. After 20 minutes outside, I met with Dr. Kino who seemed afraid of treating me because I hadn't had a back X-ray. He repeatedly mentioned he was a "professional"while saying he couldn't treat me. I left without getting relief for my lower back pain. No one in this office seems to care. read more

I just got the wrong doctor and you don't know who you're gonna get when you go in. Dr Keno shouldn't be allowed the treat patients. I'm sure there's some good ones that work there but this one that I went to totally misdiagnosed me. I went out hurting in places I did not hurt when I went in. And he didn't help my issue at all. The joint was like the fast food restaurant of chiropractic offices. I couldn't hear what the doctor was saying because the music was loud and there was a person right next to me being adjusted as well. Not to mention the person sitting in the chair watching. I don't think the experience was catered to my problems, it's a "come on get adjusted and go" type of place where they don't focus on your specific problems. The speech before the adjustment was very rehearsed and the adjustment looked like the one being done next to me. I didn't feel like my specific problem was even addressed. On the other hand the availability and price was very affordable compared to other places and that is the reason I would return. I believe you can get better service and maybe a better adjustment at a regular office, but why pay that much when you can get in and get out? My rib still hurts, but I can breath again so something worked. read more

I also tried to cancel my membership but had to wait a month per the agreement. Completely bogus and unprofessional. I was told after wasting my time filling out forms that they don't treat people with a history of pain, just healthy people. False advertising. I explained I needed a neck and back adjustment (I know what I need from years of using chiropractors. I know what works and its nothing complex or mysterious). When he found out I was having some vertigo/lightheadedness along with my neck being stiff, he refused to treat me saying I needed a whole workup. I begged for an adjustment because I was in pain and lightheaded and know that these adjustments work. This guy doesn't know his stuff if he doesn't know that neck problems can cause lightheadedness. I know what is wrong; I know that no chiro practor has ever refused to treat me based on my history. He left me upset and in pain because he's incompetent. Also false advertising. Also his tattoo that said DEATH on it was showing on his arm--so ill fitting in a healing setting and the music was headbanger and awful.
