The service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. They check you in, forget your there, go home without servicing your vehicle, then curse you out for being upset. This comes after having trouble with getting service at the scheduled appointment time each time I have gone. I sent texts and emails to the management but have gotten zero response after 4 days. I did at least get a text asking me to reschedule after "missing" my scheduled appointment. I responded that I didn't miss and gave a brief but again, I have only heard crickets. Had it in the shop over a month ( its still there) the entire time waiting for them to diagnose the issues and submit to the "warranty" company only to find out when the claim was finally denied that the so called "warranty" company os Chris Crain himself. They want $10,000 to put a new motor in it. Refuse to help with any of the costs. From the beginning they have all but called us liars about what occurred, telling us to "tell the truth". This is the only website I could find for Genesis of Conway. My car was picked up for the yearly check up/oil change on Friday morning at 10:30. I was told it would be delivered back that afternoon. I declined the user car because I did not need it for just one day. Last year they brought me a user car and I never used it and they delivered my car back that afternoon. So when my car was not delivered I called and talked to Helen. She told me they never return cars the same day. That was not true because I received my car back the same day last year. I received my car back on Monday morning. If Helen had explained what was going to happen, I would have paid $20 for user car. If I had done that, I believe I would have gotten my car back Friday evening not the following Monday morning. read more

Sold my dad and I a used 2021 Buick Encore GX, 60k miles on it for $17,000 in May of 2025. Started acting up a week later but I was too busy to get it looked at and honestly afraid of what I would find out after spending so much on it. Finally got it looked at in August of 2025 and found out the transmission was bad when they sold it to me!! Had to get a whole new one for 8k and now they will not answer their emails, calls or voicemails. Pretty sure that's what a large portion of their job is, to answer calls and complaints. So very disappointed after buying a BMW 5 weeks ago. Only to find out my car front tires needed to be replaced after a blow out from the car's front alignment being so bad, after replacing them. I called several times never getting a call back from anyone, next day spoke with the service manager Larry explained I've only had the car 5 weeks. He states the car just had an alignment was very rude he states that my driving skills could have caused my car needing alignment and tire damage in 5 weeks of having the car. New Cars Manager Mike Johnson is by far the best! My experience was 2 months ago, and I guess my original review didn't post. Mike took such good care of me and treated me like family. You just don't get genuine people anymore, but Mike was so sincere. I didn't see him listed on the staff website any longer, which is actually a huge shame and quite upsetting. Vehicle has been outside in the parking lot for 5 days and counting-untouched and unlocked. I'd rather my vehicle sit in my driveway and locked at night. Ridiculous. It all went south when my I had to get some warranty work. Work was not done well, I had to take it back multiple times. I did note these issues in a survey from Hyundai, the next time I was in to try to get repairs corrected Rick, the shop manager, actually chewed me out for it. He was very aggressive and was trying to be intimidating. I actually took a loss and traded my Hyundai in just to get away from them-it was 6 months old. I am writing this review to bring to your attention a persisting issue I have experienced over the last almost three months regarding my car repairs. This has severely hindered my options in the future to do business with your company, also causing an immense amount of inconvenience. Despite numerous efforts to get the issue resolved promptly, I was ignored and treated like I was not a priority due to having a warranty issue and not purchasing anything. I had considered trading in my car for a newer one, but the company has killed that thrill. My family and I must have a reliable vehicle to get back and forth to school and work, even though I am currently unemployed due to my previous employer laying off over 9,000 employees. I have been in the customer service industry for 15 years, and never would I treat a customer who is helping to pay my salary like they are not relevant. I am very disappointed with the service I have received and expect better from such a prominent company. I dropped my car for service on 09/25/2023 and just now got my vehicle back on 12/20/2023. When it was dropped, no one asked if I needed a courtesy car or a ride. I then received a quote of around 5k for repairs, even though I specified that it needed to be covered under warranty. After giving the service advisor the information to file a claim, I never received a call back and had to follow up multiple times. I visited Hyundai to check on the status of my warranty claim and was told that the person handling it had been fired for fraud. The service advisor promised to follow up but never did. I had to do all the footwork, following up and trying to get a resolution. When I visited Hyundai and Genesis, there was confusion about my car's location and no clear communication. The service manager at Hyundai was unhelpful and rude, further adding to my frustration who conveyed that he worked for Hyundai, not Genesis, and was unaware of why my car had been moved. Despite this setback, I maintained my composure and refrained from expressing my frustration. I then decided to drive across to the Genesis service center, unaware that they were open or that my car had been relocated. Upon arrival, I was surprised that the service manager had already informed the service advisor about my impending visit, presumably to warn him about a potentially upset customer. The service advisor at Genesis did not take any action on my warranty claim until I followed up. He had not submitted an email, video, or pictures, or attempted to follow up with me regarding the progress of my claim. I remained in the office for approximately 25-30 minutes until he finally submitted my claim. I requested a supervisor, but the manager available did not address my concerns. The subsequent call from a manager was impolite, making it seem as though it was not anyone's fault. Finally, I received a call while out of town that the adjuster determined my issue was not considered a mechanical defect. I do not believe anything was done after all the leg work, I put in. I was not offered any courtesy, apology, or discount for the inconvenience caused by the lack of follow-up on the claim or communication about my vehicle's status. As a customer and formerly a customer service support advocate, I expect a level of professionalism, communication, and commitment to resolving issues promptly. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of those expectations, and I believe it is important for you to be aware of the specific details leading up to the resolution of my warranty claim. I understand that issues can arise, but the lack of communication, follow-up, and customer service in this situation has been unacceptable. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it reflects poorly on your dealership. I cannot recommend your services to any potential or future buyers based on this experience. P.S. - I strongly urge your team to reconsider your customer service practices and ensure that future customers do not face the same challenges and frustrations I have experienced. I purchased a 2018 Yukon Denali in late April of 2021. Where to start? So many things went wrong. Let's start with the initial phone call. After seeing a Yukon Denali on Auto Trader with all the options I was looking for, color, and rim selection sitting on the lot in Conway, I called the dealership to inquire further. I spoke to a salesman there who told me "this car is cherry nothing wrong with it." I liked hearing that. I would be flying from out of state to pick it up and drive back, so the last thing I want to do is get to a dealership to see a bunch of minor issues with the car. After making some price comparisons with other vehicles, I found a similar vehicle closer to home but with two fewer options. The difference was it was 6,000 less. I call Hyundai of Conway back to try and negotiate, they do not budge, and I am assured that "This car is cherry, no problems with this car we can't come down because of that." Okay, I'm willing to pay the extra amount for a used car in excellent condition with all the options I want. I agree to the price and submit a credit application. The salesman I was working with calls me back to say we get your approval at 5.2%. I was shocked by this rate. I haven't purchased a car with a rate of over 3.5% in some time. My credit has slipped a little in the range of 675-710, depending on the bureau reporting on it. I was hesitant to go with that, but the salesman assured me that was the best rate they could get me after searching around. I think to myself, "It is what it is, I can work on my credit and refinance later, I guess". So I agree to everything and tell the salesman I will fly out on Monday to pick up the car and drive back. I get to Little Rock around 11 AM on Monday. Crane of Hyundai sends a drive to pick me up from the airport and take me to the dealership. Upon pulling up, I see the Yukon sitting out front. My initial response was that it was indeed in perfect shape. The car looks great. Then after a walk around and sitting inside it, I notice there's a huge crack in the windshield, and the passenger side GMC 22 inch wheels are scraped to shit. These are two big expensive problems. These stocks 22-inch wheels are chrome, they cannot be fixed they need to be replaced. Worst of all they cost $800 apiece from the dealership. The windshield has rain sense technology and a heads-up display. A quote from Safelite is $1,020. Of course, I don't know any of this at the time. I bring up the damage to the vehicle to the salesman he says, "I'll take $200 of the bill for the windshield because that's what they cost, and those wheels are an easy fix". I'm annoyed, but remember I'm out of state and I have to drive back home in this car. So I've already committed to the purchase. I sit down with finance to complete the process. I'm asked for a money order, or a cashier's check, which I was not told to bring. I brought a personal check. My card also had a daily limit that was showing to be difficult to lift. After going back and forth, they were willing to take a personal check. This was only slightly frustrating. Once it becomes time to sign the paperwork, he says, "okay, we got you approved at 6.18% through ally", this caught me way off guard. I was told I had been approved at 5.2%. I couldn't believe that I would get such an awful rate with a credit score as I had. The salesman lied about the rate I got approved for, and here I am, 600 miles from home, being told a rate that's 1% higher. What choice do I have, though? I sign the paperwork and move on. I have never purchased a car out of state, so I am not familiar with how tax and everything else works. In Texas, we pay for tax in our vehicle notes. That is not what they did, no sales tax was paid. I did not find this out until two weeks later when I called Crain Hyundai to inquire about license plates. This is on me for not looking at every single piece of paperwork they hand you at financing and spotting I hadn't been charged for tax. But, maybe, maybe mention, "you are not being charged tax, you will have to pay this in Texas". I just put 10k down on the car, I don't have another $3,500 laying around. I went to the DMV in Texas to register the car only to be told I don't have the necessary paperwork to register or pay the Texas tax. When does this paperwork arrive from Crain? 7 weeks after purchasing the car. I had to pay $220 in penalties for the late registration. Also, the day after I got back with the car, I applied to refinance the car with capital one and got 2.9%! 2.9! Crain had me at Ally for 6.18. They didn't even try!!!! In summary... Crain was dishonest about the car's condition, the cost of repairing the windshield, and not informative about the finances process regarding cashier checks or tax, and got me the worst possible rate I could get on the car. AVOID this dealership. read more

When I got there I was told by a different salesman that the car I was supposed to test drive was actually in their shop having the ac serviced on it and was not available for test drive. I found a car here I really wanted and live 2 and a half hours away. I spoke to someone through text messages and paid $1200 down on the vehicle and had them run numbers before I made the drive. I triple checked that I would be there Saturday afternoon to trade in my car for the car I already put a payment on, but they had no idea who I was. They said I had been speaking to their AI chat bot and the salesman I had messaged wasn't there that day. I asked why I drove 2 and a half hours. They set me up with a salesman that apparently was one of the 3 people/AI I was messaging with. They then told me that the car wasn't ready and had to go through inspection the following Monday. I asked why I was not told this and the salesman said he wasn't sure. I asked if they had similar vehicles that WERE ready and they said no. I should have walked away but they were the closest dealership with the car I wanted and I had driven hours already. They ended up giving me a rental because they said if I drove my trade in car back, it would decrease in value (which would be their fault) The finance manager was very nice and the only reason they deserve 1 star. I should have done more research into the dealership instead of worrying about the car. Now they are saying it might be another day for the car to be done. Please note, if they reply to this review downplaying my experience or painting the picture that I'm just disgruntled and expecting something for nothing- that's just more lies to save face. I've had the absolute worst customer service experience with Chris Crain Hyundai. I've dealt with incompetence, lies, miscommunication, and zero regard for the customer experience. This was specifically the Service Dept, Service Manager Larry, all the way up to General Manager Brett. This ordeal began with a 9am Saturday morning service appointment to assess and potentially replace 2 or all of my tires. Last night (Thursday), made 6 days of them having my car. I faced a daily run around just to get someone from service on the phone( literally calling multiples time back to back some days) to request an update on my car and being lied to. I called Wednesday and said I'd come get my car and take it elsewhere. They said no the tires were special ordered and the front 2 tires had been replaced (Wednesday) and the back 2 tires would be replaced Thursday and my car would be delivered to my home before closing. At 5:25pm Thursday, I had no car and no updates. Service closes at 6. I called and demanded my car be returned only to be told no because it was locked up and everyone had went home. It wasn't 6pm. Skip ahead about 30 mins, I had borrowed a car and driven up there. Chase, the Service Advisor took me to my car. Then I saw why I was getting the run around. After 6 days my car had the same original tires and was sitting there covered in dirt and dust. No signs of any repair. Chase acknowledged my anger and apologized and said if I called back the next morning and gave them a chance to make it right they'd come get my car, replace the tires, and would discount the service to make it right for me. I took that in good faith. My mistake! I only have so long on this review so to summarize: "making it right" was a lowball offer of a discount and when the General Manager Brett finally accepted my numerous requests to speak with him, he listened for a bit, acknowledged that I'd definitely had a bad customer experience, but he wasn't going to do any more than that lowball discount to resolve it and told me to move on. Then he handed the phone off dismissing me even further. It's one thing to be treated poorly as a customer, but when someone in a position to correct it dismisses you that adds insult to injury. I honestly regret ever buying a car from them and I caution anyone reading this and considering bringing Chris Crain Hyundai your sales or service business. The sales process was fine Respectful and efficient. The service department is a perfect example of incompetence. We made our appt for a specific need (car malfunction), and told us on the phone we would get a loaner. When we arrived no loaner and they did not know why we were bringing it in. They lack communication between each other as well as to the customers. I finally just went and picked up my vehicle. While I was there another customer came in complaining that the light they repaired only worked for one day. Yep seems right. While they had my car they were suppose to do a full service. On the paperwork they gave me it specifically said checked window washer fluid levels. They may have checked it but they did not fill it my car immediately signaled low washer fluid when starting. I honestly hope they actually changed the oil and didn't just put it on paper that it had been done. They also sent us a message while they had my car asking if we wanted the diesel fuel something or another cleaned. Our car isn't diesel fuel. When I spoke with who I assume was the manager about the service he kept apologizing but at no point tried to fix things. The worst part is this was our second time having service done and both times they miss communicated. The first appt we brought the car in for the service we had scheduled with them. When we arrived at appointed date and time we were told they have to bring in a guy from out of town to fix that problem and we would have to come back in a few weeks. Really they didn't know they couldn't do it when I scheduled it. I know it seems I am rambling but the service department makes me regret having bought a new vehicle from them. Had an issue with a check engine warning. I was warned that the diagnostic machine cost to hook up was high. Well, I had to have my problem diagnosed either way. So as it turns out, a wiring harness had malfunctioned. It also happened to be under warranty as the car has the 100,000 mile warranty for major powertrain components. They gave me a loaner car to drive as the repair took a couple of days. When I got my car back, there was no charge- all under warranty. What a difference in the car performance! I noticed it right away. The service manager explained that the bad harness had put the car in a driving mode called "limp". I suppose that means to limp home. Anyway, it is fixed now and I am very happy with Crain and Hyundai. read more

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The sales and service team at Superior Hyundai have completely changed for the worse since purchasing my vehicle from them a couple of years ago. The service prices are not competitive and they are less than willing to go out of their way to provide reasonable customer service. I referred a friend to them to purchase a vehicle and was told that I would receive a referral check once the sale was completed, which was back in April. After calling and leaving several messages, I stopped by the dealership one afternoon in June to inquire about the referral check and met with the manager at the front of the building. He was inconvenienced by my inquiry about the check and became defensive and told me that there was nothing he could do for me. Then asked me with attitude if I had a problem. As of August 15, I still have not received the check and keep getting told it's in the mail. Recently, my battery died on my vehicle and I called about the warranty. I am right at the end of the warranty mark... and they wanted to charge me labor to replace the battery. Are you kidding me? I would rather spend my money at Auto Zone where they will replace the battery for me and provide good quality service and won't charge me labor. read more

I have gone to their service station twice and both times they were completely unprofessional. So many staff members walking around the service area and yet it would take forever to get an answer. The last time I went, I needed to get a lightbulb replaced (fog light). My boyfriend took my car there to get it replaced and they said it needed to be ordered. Scheduled an appointment for a week later and had him pay in advance so all I had to do was bring the car in and it would be about 30 min total. When I went, they had NOTHING on file, no receipt, and no lightbulb! I sat there for an HOUR before I went back to the desk and told them to give me my keys and I was leaving. Still never received a call from the service manager nor an explanation as to what happened. My boyfriend had to call his bank and dispute the charge since no service was received. read more

I traded in a vehicle and bought a used vehicle on 5/21. I still have not received any paperwork to license it and it's 7/22. I had an issue with with an electrical draw that I reported before purchasing that was supposed to have been looked at prior to my purchase, as well as one of the dvd players in the headrest of the back seat wasn't working. When I picked up the vehicle, I was told they did not find a draw and the battery tested good. The electrical draw returned the very next day. I took it in to a shop at the sales manager's request and found it had a 6 amp draw. Anyone that knows how to test a draw would have found that to be excessive. I reported this to Tony Moya and he wanted to pay for half of the repair bill, I didn't feel I should have to participate at all since I reported it before purchase and nothing was done to attempt to resolve it. He said I would receive a call from his General manager, Brett Berry. I never received a call, so I called and texted Tony and Brett and left voicemails and have not had any response. Prior to purchase, I was told by one of the salesman that the reason the other dvd player didn't work was because I didn't have a remote. The salesman purchased a remote and had it sent to me. Still doesn't work and they have refused to do anything to resolve that as well. I left a voicemail to the CRM Ashley on 7/19 and again on 7/22 and have not had any response from her either. I guess I'm going to have to report to the Attorney General or 7 on your side as I should have received my paperwork within 30 days of purchase. I purchased a used 2018 Honda CRV Touring on March 19, 2019. It had 10,300 miles on it. I took my car to Honda World since it is still under warranty but apparently the previous owner did not keep up the maintenance. Now I have to purchase new tires because they were never rotated until I had them rotated at 14,000 miles. Stupid me thought dealerships SERVICED (oil change, tire rotation) used vehicles before putting them up for sale. Apparently not. I pulled into Superior Hyundai just to peek at what they had on the lot (dont let the tiny lot fool ya, they have tons of cars and SUVs in inventory they can access) around 3:30 today, As soon as I met Damon I told him my spill (trying not to waist his time and mine) and he invited me inside to talk more, I knew he wanted to help alleviate some of my worries and stress. He introduced me to the finance manager Charles and with my teeny tiny last bit of patience I explained my situation. In just a few minutes these guys flew into action! They were amazing! Not only to me but bending over backwards to help every other person I saw the crew talk to and heard them speak to on the phone. (Its a small office and I'm nosey) . They were patient while I went to pick up my daughter, and while waiting on my boyfriend to get home so he could come sign papers, they entertained me with stories and jokes mostly pointed at Wangle but he's such a good sport! And listened to me whine about the other big name dealerships in town. All the while Charles ,bless his heart, ran multiple numbers and scenarios to get us where we needed to be. I even found out that Damon was working on his day off and missing dinner out with his wife to help me. (if you are his wife and reading this thank you for sharing him today he made a huge difference in our lives and i cant thank you enough... Make him buy you something shiney now ) These guys are the real deal! Genuine people who care about you and stand behind the product they sell Personally and porofessionally. I will not... I repeat: I WILL NOT go anywhere else when its time to buy or trade another vehicle. I will however, send everyone I know to Superior Hyundai! At 7pm tonight, just 3.5 hours later, we were pulling out in our new 2016 Tucson which is exactly the vehicle we wanted and at the price and payments we asked for! I can't say enough amazing things for these folks except tell ya they should of been my FIRST STOP and that would of saved me so much time, stress and rental car money!
