The only problem I had with them was they told me they would send someone out the following week to clean up the yard. That never happened. I was left with deep ruts where they ran the backhoe. I also had several deep low spots and random high spots where they didn't fill the trench back in after replacing the water line. They also left several large roots laying around that they had dug up. I've been trying to clean up the mess myself so I can reseed, but that's not easy when you are a little old lady like me. Overall, I would recommend them for most jobs since they did a good job repairing the problem and did not overcharge for the work. Just don't expect a lot of follow-up once the job is done.

However, this time…read moreI felt pretty taken advantage of and when I complained, was only met with excuses, much like his response to another Yelp review. I had a leak in my shower, so asked for them to find it for me. They did find the leak and I authorized for them to rip out the shower to make sure they got it stopped, since I planned a bathroom remodel, anyway. I didn't hear from them again until I called after a $2100 charge hit my credit card! Apparently, the plumber he sent needed help carrying the shower panels and hauling debris, but instead of bringing in unskilled labor, charged me $150/hr each x 2 plumbers to haul debris! To make matters worse, they removed my perfectly functioning toilet, with no real explanation. Due to our contractor being busy, I knew it might be months before our remodel, so asked them to replace the toilet. They did return and replace the toilet, without additional charge (but didn't refund the amount I paid 2 plumbers to remove it and dispose of it). However, he installed it incorrectly, leading to a leak that is costing me thousands of dollars of damage downstairs from the toilet, since everything we put in the toilet ended up in the walls and ceiling downstairs! When I confronted Andrew and even provided pictures of the incorrectly installed toilet, he just defended his employee and made excuses. An apology and an offer to make it right would have gone a long way to fixing this issue. As it is, trust is lost. If a plumber can't even install a toilet correctly, what else will be done incorrectly? Then to not take responsibility? That shows lack of integrity.

I was at work, my sons were there, Mr Duckett agreed to come on Sunday or Monday to collect payment. He was to call first. He showed up early Sunday, no phone call. My son gave him half in cash and needed to go to the ATM. Mr Duckett said he would come back. He called the next day, early morning, I was no home. 17 phone calls in one morning. 3 days of playing phone tag with him I thought he showed up for payment, no more calls. I found out 4 days later he attempted to put a lien on my home for $70. He hadn't come back by. He contacted the home owners we're lease purchasing from. Quoted them $300 and said I hadn't paid and he was going to file a lien. The home owner is a licensed plumber and electrician. He agreed to pay $150. I had no clue he contacted them until 3 days later. They were furious he failed to tell them I had already paid half. Attempted to contact Ducketts several times to resolve the issue. After several attempts he finally called back, yelling and cussing, threatening to file harassment charges for "bothering" him. I asked why he overcharged my landlords and failed to mention I had paid half. He said "did you hand me the payment?" I said "I was at work, my husband have it to you". His response was " I don't know nothing about that" then hung up on me. Attempted to talk to him 2 more times, hid wife got on the phone and started cussing me out. Highly unprofessional, mediocre work, and very dishonest!
