I'd tried to use Half Moon a few times in the past, and could never get an answer when I called, and since plumbing problems usually won't wait, I went elsewhere. Not this time. My call was answered promptly and ever so professionally. The gent on the phone (I'm terrible with names) was very polite and listened to my problem, getting all my info and setting an appointment for the next morning. Cut to next morning, by 9am, I had a call from the technician, and by 10 he was at my door. We looked over the problem, he quoted me a number that was much less than I expected, and went to work. In a little over an hour, he was done, and were were yakking it up waiting for the PVC cement to cure so we could test the job. Fired up the pool pump, and not a leak to be found. Prompt service, good pricing, professional people. That should be their business name, but I guess "Half Moon Plumbing" rolls off the tongue a lot easier. I'm sold. I needed to replace my main water line, which of course required digging a trench in the front…read moreyard. Maximum plumbing did the job quickly and at a reasonable price. The only problem I had with them was they told me they would send someone out the following week to clean up the yard. That never happened. I was left with deep ruts where they ran the backhoe. I also had several deep low spots and random high spots where they didn't fill the trench back in after replacing the water line. They also left several large roots laying around that they had dug up. I've been trying to clean up the mess myself so I can reseed, but that's not easy when you are a little old lady like me. Overall, I would recommend them for most jobs since they did a good job repairing the problem and did not overcharge for the work. Just don't expect a lot of follow-up once the job is done.
