I left a review privately and requested to be reached out to (been about 3 weeks) before coming and…read moremaking this public. Dr. Snyder was absolutely unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I arrived at my appointment that I had made about 2-3 months prior to be told my appointment would be cancelled due to an emergency and I asked who I would be seeing to be told "I don't know", office manager came out and told me that I could still see Dr.Snyder, but it would be a wait because of the emergency and had at the hospital. That's fine, I understand emergencies happen and was happy to wait. I waited for 2 hours... again.f that's fine. Hit when Dr.Snyder arrived, I heard her from inside the exam room complaining that she hadn't been able to have lunch yet, her staff told her to get a quick bite and she said "I can't, this patient refused to cancel" before coming into my room (not true, I asked who else I could see and and they told me I could still see her and provided no other options), as soon as she came into the room she said "I know you came in for a consult but I haven't had lunch yet so I'm not going to answer any of your questions, I'll send you home with some papers and do your exam"... I waited 2-3 months to have my questions answered about a surgery and she's coming in here and immediately telling me she's not going to answer ANY of them? Nope. She sent me home with an internet printed document with FAQs about the procedure I wanted. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! During my exam she then tried to push a vaccine on me and shamed me for not wanting to have it done. So you can't answer my few questions but you can push a vaccine that has NOTHING to do with my exam or surgery I wanted? So unprofessional and rude. She then completed my exam and before leaving the room said "I want you to understand that emergencies happen and because of that we will have to cancel appointments" I was floored, I told her "I understand that emergencies happen, I did ask if I could see someone else or who else could do my exam and they told me I could still see you" and she just blankly stared at me before saying "yeah, sometimes cancellations happen" and then left. I understand that people can have off days.... But the way I was treated was atrocious. It's not easy as a woman to go in for your yearly exams and then want to have a surgery and have questions only to be told that they aren't going to answer any of them after waiting 2-3 months for this appointment. Dr.Snyder, do better. I hope you never treat another patient like this. These appointments already have many of us feeling so vulnerable and to be treated so rudely, dismissed and shamed for not wanting to take a vaccine that isn't necessary for my lifestyle... I'm floored. I took time off from work for this appointment only to get no answers and to be made to feel less than human.

If you want to resolve this READ WHAT I AM WRITING. I have tried dozens of times to resolve this with no avail. If you're a business owner you can ask Kathryn Reed for my cell phone number. Appointments are easy to schedule with plenty of availability, the office is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. I have liked all of the providers I have worked with throughout my time as a patient. Dr. Chu delivered my son and I had a good experience with her at Castle Rock Adventist. My husband and I spoke with her multiple times during labor while at home and she provided clear instructions and encouragement during the early stages of labor. In my opinion, the stand out provider at the Lone Tree office is Kathy Reed, the nurse practitioner. Throughout my care she has made me feel extremely comfortable. She always explains exactly what she is going to be doing, is readily available for questions and detailed answers if you ask for an explanation or reason behind her recommendation, and she just comes off as a genuinely nice person and care provider. I give four stars for two small reasons (two areas for improvement): 1) The intake: Every time I come in the office the nurse is asking me the same questions about cigarettes and chewing tobacco and what type of contraception I am using. I think this process could be streamlined. 2) Carrier Screening for preconception and prenatal visits. Because I work in the field of genetics and counsel regarding carrier screening everyday I was paying attention about how carrier screening was presented and what type of panel was offered. I think Ridgegate could better inform patients of what the carrier screening is for, that it is recommended by ACOG and could offer two panels a small basic panel with CF, SMA, and FX and a larger panel with 100+ diseases which is becoming standard these days.

Everyone took the time to communicate clearly, answer questions, and make sure I felt informed and at ease every step of the way. The office itself is clean, comfortable, and well organized, which immediately set a calming tone. I never felt rushed, and the level of care felt genuinely thoughtful and patient-centered. I especially want to highlight Amanda Roy, WHNP. She was absolutely wonderful, extremely attentive, compassionate, and thorough. She made me feel completely comfortable, listened closely, explained everything clearly, and created a space where I felt respected and cared for. I truly couldn't recommend her more. She is exactly the kind of provider you hope to find. If you're looking for an OB/GYN office where you feel heard, supported, and well taken care of, Lone Tree OB/GYN is it. My child has been seen for the same issue in Oct Dec and now May. They did the exact same thing, PA exam with no tests, no pap, no ultrasound. At first I appreciated the not jumping off the deep end approach but after 3 visits they are simply brushing her off saying it's a sensitive nerve issue. They know that with nothing but an exam? I feel like my insurance money is being wasted. She's scared and in pain and this office has given me the feeling that they simply don't care. With my obgyn history they should be much more concerned for her then they are. I'm moving my child to an office that will pay attention to what she's saying. I'm in pain should garner some kind of response. Totally furious, frustrated and saddened.

Dr. Etten ended up delivering my baby, but Sheldon told me this would be the case ahead of time and I was comfortably with that! Etten was wondering, the baby was healthy and so was I! All the nurses in L&D were wondering as well! But as far as the OBGYN center I have nothing but good things to say!
