Every time I write a review the same thing happens. They just keep saying reach out to resolve but every time I call I don't get a call back. If you want to resolve this READ WHAT I AM WRITING. I have tried dozens of times to resolve this with no avail. If you're a business owner you can ask Kathryn Reed for my cell phone number. Patients beware! It's clear if they wanted to make this $75 charge go away they could've. Instead they keep me on a broken record loop telling me to contact them and not resolving anything. I've been a patient of Ridgegate OBGYN for about 3 years now. They have seen me for well women's visits and throughout my pregnancy and delivery of my first child. Appointments are easy to schedule with plenty of availability, the office is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. I have liked all of the providers I have worked with throughout my time as a patient. Dr. Chu delivered my son and I had a good experience with her at Castle Rock Adventist. My husband and I spoke with her multiple times during labor while at home and she provided clear instructions and encouragement during the early stages of labor. In my opinion, the stand out provider at the Lone Tree office is Kathy Reed, the nurse practitioner. Throughout my care she has made me feel extremely comfortable. She always explains exactly what she is going to be doing, is readily available for questions and detailed answers if you ask for an explanation or reason behind her recommendation, and she just comes off as a genuinely nice person and care provider. I give four stars for two small reasons (two areas for improvement): 1) The intake: Every time I come in the office the nurse is asking me the same questions about cigarettes and chewing tobacco and what type of contraception I am using. I think this process could be streamlined. 2) Carrier Screening for preconception and prenatal visits. Because I work in the field of genetics and counsel regarding carrier screening everyday I was paying attention about how carrier screening was presented and what type of panel was offered. I think Ridgegate could better inform patients of what the carrier screening is for, that it is recommended by ACOG and could offer two panels a small basic panel with CF, SMA, and FX and a larger panel with 100+ diseases which is becoming standard these days. read more

I have used Dr.Zart at Ridgegate OBGYN for over 5yrs and she is the best. The trouble that lies with this practice is that doesn't care about their patients at all. You obviously took on too many patients to give decent care to the ones that you have had. My last two appointments have been bumped due to scheduling conflicts, and I was supposed to be seen in July, and then this coming Monday which I took as an opening that came available, which then made me lose my November appointment...and them trying to schedule me in late December.....not acceptable, at all. I guess I will try to find a practice that has time for me, or owns it when they mess up...and will get people in. Very disappointed. read more

Came in to the office as a new patient with a worry and my experience was great! Here's my two cents: Setting: Really easy to find, it's in medical building but the parking is directly in front of it and there re signs to indicate where the office is. It's also near a shopping area so you could probably run errands round here before or after! Staff: Very organized, courteous and kind. I saw the MA Adelle and the NP Kathy both of which who are really sweet and take their time to understand your history. Kathy especially was very affirming and willing to do extra tests exams and speak to me about anything I wanted more information on. I really appreciate that (as an aspiring physician I can't stand when people try to rush you out the room, so thanks for being so sweet!) Organization: Very organized, I printed my patient forms online and brought them in which made everything faster and easier. I also didn't wait more than 5 minutes to be seen, which is surprising in comparison to past experiences elsewhere lol! They have their main clinic about 30 mins away, so maybe that makes it more efficient/fast. All in all, seems like a great place!:) read more

I started coming here at the beginning of my pregnancy in July 2017 at the recommendation of my PCP. I am SO glad I ended up here! The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful and kind, and already know me by name. They are great to let you know about any delays that may come in your wait time, but more often than not when I've gotten there early, I'm usually able to get done a few minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The nurses are also sweet and know exactly what they are doing. Finally, all of the doctors are amazing and have always been able to answer my questions, give me advice when needed, etc. There isn't a single doctor I don't like. I have been with this group for almost 3 years and have been to 2 appointments. Each time, calling to schedule a visit takes much of my day. To call and schedule an appointment. Today I have called 5 different times to continually wait on hold (your wait time is 5 minutes... for many more minutes than that). The last time I called it was 11:50am and I got a message saying they would not be answering the phones at noon for lunch time. Not sure what in the world is going on in the scheduling department but I think it's time to find a different office. This one is too busy to even schedule an appointment for me. read more

I will make this short and sweet. My daughter called to make an appointment after she found out she was pregnant. She was moving to Colorado and needed to find an OB/GYN. The girl who answered the phone was not very friendly and basically said they didn't have any appointments and would call back when she could find something. The receptionist working today belongs in a profession that does not deal with people. At my previous couple appointments recently a different receptionist was working and was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. The receptionist working today (no idea who she is, no name tag) was short, rude, impersonal and generally just seemed bothered by everything. Today was my daughter's first experience at an OB/GYN office and let me tell you it was not the welcoming environment I told her it would be. Dr. Schmidt and her nurse are AMAZING and so sweet and they will get their own review. So don't get me wrong, this one star is only for the receptionist. Unfortunately, it makes the whole business look bad and the front office staff set the tone for your business. I'm not even sure how someone like this got through an interview for this position with zero customer service skills. I asked for a note for my daughter to take back to school and she acted like she had no idea what that was and was super bothered to have to go ask for one. Just really her whole attitude is totally unnecessary. Maybe she was having a bad day, but that's not an excuse to display poor attitude to others. This was truly my first bad experience at this office and I hope that receptionist is replaced. I can't imagine how she makes pregnant and postpartum mothers feel if she made those of us not dealing with hormonal changes and creating a life feel like a bother. read more

I have been a patient at RidgeGate OBGYN since December. Despite the chaos of COVID-19, these ladies are quick to respond to provider messages and have always been able to get me in same day. I never wait long for an appointment which is very important considering sometimes I have my 3 year old with me and he can be a handful. All the drs I have met with are extremely kind and caring. I'd give ten stars if I were able. I delivered my son with Ridgegate and then moved south. I went to another practice that was in Colorado Springs, and long story short with them, they have been dubbed the "Nightmare Office" and subsequently I went to another practice in the Springs to just find out the next day that they were no longer in network with my insurance. After speaking with my husband we decided we never should have gone anywhere else, and I am back with Ridgegate. I love this practice and the doctors, PA's and nurses so much that we will be driving over 1.5hours one way just to make appointments. Just hoping I go into labor while at work as I work just a few minutes away. Can't say enough positive about Ridgegate. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great OB. read more

I agree with the other reviewer that said that the ladies at the front desk are "rude, unprofessional and are constantly dropping the ball." I was told misinformation at the front desk which greatly affected insurance billing. I highly recommend you go somewhere else to avoid the terrible attitudes in that office. You are their paycheck and it's apparent. It also doesn't help that they are also uncooperative with other doctor's offices. I especially didn't like the snide attitude of one particular office lady. I think the other ladies are unhappy having to work with such a grouch and it shows. read more

This office used to be amazing, when Dr. Stallworth was still there. I do like the nurse practitioner very much. She's very kind and direct and knows how to put you at ease. My one star review is for the ladies at the front of the office. I cannot believe they are allowed to be the "face" of this practice. They're rude, unprofessional and are constantly dropping the ball. Whether it's making an appt and showing up to find out, they never actually scheduled you or showing up at the Lone Tree office only to be told your appt is now at the Castle Rock location ( I've never ever been seen in CR). I actually referred a co-worker of mine and she experienced these same issues on 3 different occasions. The reaction at the front desk was literally "I'm sorry, it's not my problem". Or my favorite, in a room full of other patients, " Maybe you should try another office if you're so unhappy here. ". I have a job that's nearly identical to the one these ladies have and I can tell you, I would be unemployed if I ever talked to our patients the way they talk to theirs. Disappointed. Just transferred to another office. Warning, always call to confirm before going to your appt here, they likely "forgot" to put you in their schedule. read more

I have been with this practice for more than 10 years. The pioneer of the practice Dr. John Stallworth was a phenomenal doctor. (Retired now for a few years). He had a passion for what he did, he genuinely cared about his patients, and he was very knowledgeable. He built up a good foundation for this practice going forward. Throughout the years I have been helped by many of their doctors. Dr. Elise Chu helped me through a life saving emergency I had. Dr. Melissa Zart, Dr. John Stallworth, and Dr. Kristen Boylan have all delivered for me. Each one respectful of my desire to have natural deliveries. The P.A Kathy Reed is so sweet, I've been seeing her since day one. Ginny the ultrasound tech is also very sweet. And Adele who is an assistant is also very sweet. They started out at Sky Ridge Medical Center with an office and delivery at that hospital. Now they deliver exclusively at Castlerock Adventist Hospital. (The nicest hospital I've ever delivered at) They have an office in Castlerock in the medical building next to the hospital. And they have another office in Lone Tree off of Yosemite just North of Lincoln. Their offices have always been clean. The doctors have always been competent and professional. The staff has always been friendly. The billing department has always had it together. I would highly recommend this practice to any gal I know they certainly have taken good care of me throughout the years. read more

Would call to make an appointment and 9 times out of 10 got their voicemail and when I did leave a voicemail I did not receive a call back. Had labs taken and found out the NP never sent them out.
