I called to make an appointment and they got me in 2 months later and I was no longer pregnant... the doctor didn't even apologize. A few weeks ago I called to make an urgent appointment because I was in a ton of pain and bleeding. They told me they could get me in in July. Sooo they just expect someone to be in pain and bleeding for 2 months? I called another place and they got me in 2 days later and had to remove the IUD from complications. I've truly been appalled by this place. I've never seen anything like it.

Patients beware! It's clear if they wanted to make this $75 charge go away they could've. Instead they keep me on a broken record loop telling me to contact them and not resolving anything. Appointments are easy to schedule with plenty of availability, the office is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. I have liked all of the providers I have worked with throughout my time as a patient. Dr. Chu delivered my son and I had a good experience with her at Castle Rock Adventist. My husband and I spoke with her multiple times during labor while at home and she provided clear instructions and encouragement during the early stages of labor. In my opinion, the stand out provider at the Lone Tree office is Kathy Reed, the nurse practitioner. Throughout my care she has made me feel extremely comfortable. She always explains exactly what she is going to be doing, is readily available for questions and detailed answers if you ask for an explanation or reason behind her recommendation, and she just comes off as a genuinely nice person and care provider. I give four stars for two small reasons (two areas for improvement): 1) The intake: Every time I come in the office the nurse is asking me the same questions about cigarettes and chewing tobacco and what type of contraception I am using. I think this process could be streamlined. 2) Carrier Screening for preconception and prenatal visits. Because I work in the field of genetics and counsel regarding carrier screening everyday I was paying attention about how carrier screening was presented and what type of panel was offered. I think Ridgegate could better inform patients of what the carrier screening is for, that it is recommended by ACOG and could offer two panels a small basic panel with CF, SMA, and FX and a larger panel with 100+ diseases which is becoming standard these days.

I have for drive for it, but it is so worth it! I see Dr. Scariano and I am so impressed because she checked my blood work and found all sorts of easy-to-fix but significant issues that my previous docs and primary care people missed! For instance, um HYPOTHYROIDISM....nice. A teeny pill a day and I am doing great. I am shocked at how many doctors missed this, and very impressed that Dr. S really dug into my blood work to find out what was going on! She even suggested supplements, and some other options, and after 15 weeks of treatment, I would have to say I am feeling the best I ever have in my adult life. Teeny little tweaks like thyroid meds and vitamin D and Iodine. Who knew it could mean such big health boost. She is a skilled surgeon and a wonderful advocate for those in her care. In times of more emergent situations, she keeps her cool and makes critical decisions. I was in desperate need of a great OB and thankfully found Dr. Walsh! She is incredible! They were able to get me in and establish care immediately. The receptionist was so sweet on the phone and seemed like she genuinely cared for me and my situation. When I met with Dr. Walsh, she had great bedside manner, didn't seem rushed at all, was very intelligent and took the time to explain things and answer all of my questions, and over all was just down to earth and so kind. All of the staff that I have met so far were sweet and caring. After of a month of trying to let my body pass things naturally, I had to have a D&C, which Dr. Walsh helped make that as positive as she could, given what was having to be done. She was comforting in the hospital and again took the time to talk through things with me. The follow up appointment in the office was easy, time efficient, and I felt like I was really being cared for. - I can't wait to become pregnant again with our little rainbow baby and be back in Dr. Walsh's care! - If you are looking for a great obgyn and office, this is the place for you!
