This is one of the worst buffets I've ever been to. Even the soft serve ice cream was tasteless.

Sushi and Chinese buffet was ok, for the price they charged, is not worth it. At check out I asked to speak to a manager, the man stated the manager was off and the staff managed themself, I asked why the website said with Hot Pot and it is not, he stated the restaurant did not have Hot pot since 2025, then I ask him to inform the owner/manager to updated the website, because the website gives false advertising.

The variety is great and everything we tried tasted fresh and well made. Nothing felt like it had been sitting too long and the staff was constantly maintaining the stations. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and very attentive without being overbearing. The staff working the buffet line were also all really nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there which makes such a difference. Food wise there were a lot of standouts. The chargrilled steak had a really nice flavor and the prime rib was super tender and juicy. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were light, bright, and flavorful instead of heavy. The mac and cheese is an absolute must. They use big shell noodles with a creamy cheese sauce and toasted breadcrumbs on top which gives it great texture. The collard greens were surprisingly one of our favorite things and we went back for seconds. So much flavor. The spiced shrimp is a hidden gem and definitely something we grabbed multiple times. The pizza was also surprisingly good. We tried the mushroom and spinach and it honestly tasted like something you would get from a really solid pizza spot not a buffet. The only thing I would say is the chicken parm is hit or miss depending on how fresh it is. If it has been sitting it can get a little soggy so I would try to grab it when a fresh tray comes out. Pro tip leave room for dessert. The dessert section is incredible. The gelato was rich and creamy especially the chocolate. The croissant cinnamon roll hybrid was flaky on the outside with a soft gooey center and the cookies and cream cheesecake was rich without being too heavy. I also really liked how the seating is set up. You can sit on either side of the buffet and choose between booths or tables which makes it feel a little less chaotic. This is definitely a spot we will keep coming back to when we are at Borgata.

The carving station had a salmon larger than I've ever seen too. Also appreciate that they offer a spiced version of the cocktail shrimp. Meats - prime rib was very dry and overcooked but the grilled steak has really great taste Everything else is pretty standard for a buffet. Huge compliments on all of the sauces they offer to go along with your food (steak sauce, au jus, melted butter, etc.).

Went back again after a 5-star-worthy visit the first time!…read more Once again this place blew me away! This time I went with my mom and her boyfriend and we all loved the food and left with our bellies full! Our server was very attentive to us, kept our drinks filled, cleared our table of dirty plates quickly, and didn't make us feel rushed or pressured at all. We were disappointed to see that there was no soft shell crab, honey-coconut shrimp, or egg custard dim sum (all of which were present during my first visit and I was looking forward to) but given how wonderful everything else was, it wasn't a big deal The building was still crowded even though we went on a Tuesday evening, but I hear on weekends the line can be out the door so in comparison to that it sounds like we avoided most of the crowd. There were consistently workers keeping the food stocked and the building clean aswell. Despite the mild disappointment of my second visit, I'll still be returning and continuing to recommend this place to friends and family :)

We were there on a Monday at about 4 p.m.. I was very disappointed to find no whole Maine lobsters, the reason for me taking her there. They changed the policy to weekends and holidays only for the whole lobster. Granted they still had lobster, but as a Ginger Scallion Stirfry dish. The lobster was cut into small pieces, which were overcooked and tough and dry. The sauce makes it much messier to eat. I didn't care for it at all. The huge jumbo crabs I'd seen on my previous visit, on this visit were very small. I was rather embarrassed, as I'd talked it up so much to my sister and I promised to take her there for her birthday. I was sorry she did not get to experience the same experience I'd had a month before. Yes, there are still many options to choose from. That was not the issue. When you have expectations of something and are letdown, that's a disappointment. The food was still pretty good.

So I was pretty excited to have supper here. I'm not too sure, what difference it makes that is connected to the flying j truck stop? Do regular people think that truck stops are just full of filth? I mean some of them are, but this isn't one of them. It shouldn't really make a difference what a business is connected to, because it's an independent entity. I walked in in the late evening, place was super busy. Now I'm going to digress a bit, but with buffets the ABSOLUTE OPTIMAL TIME to go to a buffet is when it is busy and packed. The more people, the more food they cook, the more fresh food comes out. If you go into a buffet trying to avoid the crowd, you're not going to get the freshest food available, because they're not going to be cooking for 200 people, with only 15 in the restaurant, so keep that in mind. I think that's where some of these bad reviews come in. Anyhow, you pay up front and order your drink. The kid at the register was kind of strange, but that's just youngsters in the workforce these days. It didn't dawn on me until afterwards, but they ask you if you want cash back, and it's for the tip for the girl that gets your soda and cleans your plates. I went back after the fact and just had the nice kid put five bucks on my card and give me cash so I could give her some gratuity. While we're on the subject of her, she was super nice, kept my drinks full, kept my table cleared, and was constantly cleaning and sweeping the floor the entire time I was there. and AND we're interacting with literally all of the customers, which I found pretty impressive. She's obviously a local gal, and personally knew some of the patrons. That's huge for me, so maybe this is a five star review. I noticed a couple other girls constantly cleaning and sweeping also. I didn't order any custom grilled steaks, or anything like that, but I did manage to cover probably at least 80% of the buffet itself. Everything from salads, to soups, to dumplings, to dessert, to the rest of the food. Did I absolutely love every single thing I got? Not particularly. But in an overall general sense everything was absolutely great. The place was packed, which means they were constantly bringing out fresh trays of food. Probably everything that I got, was hot and fresh. The only thing that look like it was sitting there for a good while was the chili, but then again, who actually eats chili? Gross. I guess the decorum is your typical golden corral. Like I said I haven't been in one in over 20 years, but they had typical signage, a ton of tables, which were mostly taken, I actually had to seek a table out in the back because they were so busy but they were also playing country music which was nice. I am a super foodie, I've owned a bar and grill, and I cook a lot of food and smoke a lot of meat when I'm home, so don't listen to these other reviews. Just keep in mind that it's important that you go when it's busiest, that's when you'll get the best experience, and the freshest food. Tah tah for now my little festerlings!! Eat, and eat well!! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
