The staff is friendly and provided great service. The prices were amazing, for the amount of food and quality. You go up to the front to order "cafeteria" style. I chose the option of a meat, 2 sides, & dessert for $11. For $3 more you can get the buffet option. I selected the fried chicken, chicken & rice, and turnip greens with banana pudding for my dessert. The meals also came with a slice of corn bread. Everything was warm, fresh, and delicious! My burger was a towering achievement with a side of fries. It was served on a grilled bun with butter. The patties were huge and there was plenty of cheese and bacon. It was dang near perfect. All it needed was an American Flag toothpick on top. The fries were thick cut and the perfect vehicle for Ketchup. There was so much flavor and it was all good. Final wrap-up is the famous strawberry pie. Disappointment reigned supreme they were out! Oh well, a strawberry sundae will do. The whole experience took me back so I am biased.
