    Cream puffs

If you've been before you understand. And if you haven't I'm sorry, and you're welcome. This is by far one of my favourite dessert places. Even if you don't like cream puffs, you need to try these. Every single flavour is a true delight for the senses. You'll go for the cream puffs, and stay for the tarts

Love it. We were at Jimmy's Coffee next door and decided to try this place. They let us try a few flavours before buying. We eventually bought Vanilla, Nutella and Strawberry. They have limited seating and ambiance is nice.

I didn't have very high expectations because sometimes desserts don't travel well, but I was actually so surprised. The restuarant also serves, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, poutine, and sandwiches if you're looking for something more savoury.  I ordered the Karak Chai, and MyTreat (croffle, topped with cheesecke bites, graham crumbs, strawberry coulis, and white chocolate sauce, with a side of vanilla ice cream).  The chai latte was a nice compliment to the dessert.  The croffle was enjoyable, but the ice cream wasn't to my liking. It tasted low quality and a bit artificial in my opinion.  The portions were huge, and one order can be shared between two people. My partner and I ordered one dessert each and couldn't finish our shares, but we were still a bit full from dinner. The Etobicoke location has a bright airy feel, with plenty of seating, great for both large and small groups. The staff here were also welcoming, and efficient.

Very solid 4* rating!…read more Not sure why it took me a decade to check this place out, after a recommendation from an older European lady had recommended this place to me. It's definitely a "hidden" gem, tucked around the corner from Kipling Stn, in a really industrial area. Think a bunch of auto body and other older looking, unkempt buildings with cars parked out in front. There's parking in front of the bakery café and you hafta climb up a flight of stairs to go in. Not really accessible for older or customers with disabilities. When I arrived, the chairs were already on top of the tables. And after checking the hours of operation, they're only opened 'til 5pm, including Saturdays. They sell whole and cakes, pastries, but the slice/piece. Prices aren't posted, but it was just under $10 for 2 pieces that I got. When I arrived, near closing, they had B1G1 free on their tiramisu, so I saw that as a sign. They were delicious and still tasted free, not too sweet! (I took a pic of their price list and it seems very reasonable!) Judging on what they offer and what I've read, they have Austrian/German roots. Lady who helped me could've been friendlier/enthusiastic, but again, it was the end of the day. So I'm not going to hold that against her. I'd definitely check it out again...but it would hafta be during the day/Saturday!

Place was busy parking in front of store was full. *Note be careful when backing out as it on a busier street and you can't see traffic well. Place had lots of variety of breads, loaves, cookies, cakes, croissant, danishes, and couple seating areas in the back if you wants to eat in. There was a soup option. Price was not expensive but not cheap for a food manufacturer. There were small carts to push around so it made it easy to buy items. Grab a treat here and there is not too bad. We ordered lepinja sa kajmakom, which was a homestyle bread with cream cheese. This was the star dish of the night omg, priced at $5 for 4 pieces it instantly set the meal in the right direction! We then got the shopska salad which was a salad with tomato, cucumber, onion, green pepper, and feta. Salad was mid, but it was nice to have greens as our main was the mesano meso, a grilled meat platter for 4. This platter was so filling and had different varieties of meats. The best meat in this selection was the sausage, I unfortunately found everything else a little lacklustre. Service was great throughout the night, ambiance was nothing super special. Verdict: come for the homestyle bread!! Still thinking about it haha

I had an extremely late breakfast buffet on Sunday. I decided to take it easy and take in a movie, as there was a promotion to use half your SCENE points towards a regular movie. I wanted something light and saw Melt. I quietly looked at all the offerings. I first thought about getting a milkshake, but have had too many of them as of late. A cone sounded good, but who wants to hear me crunch on that during a movie?! I looked at all the frozen yogurt and fruit popsicles. I knew that I wanted one. I asked the woman what the pink popsicle was in the centre of all the peach ones. It was cotton candy. I selected it. I have never had cotton candy as a popsicle in my life. She said that it had Nerds in it. Even better! I love Nerds. I was thrilled to see that this place offers cookies and baked goods. It also has Sweets from the Earth brownies and cookies. They are vegan and delicious! As you'd expect at Cineplex concession stands, prices are higher, including at Melt. My cotton candy popsicle was over $4 with tax. I was happy to use debit. I wanted to try it out. I thanked the woman and left. In the movie theatre, I savoured my popsicle. It was creamy and not overly sugary. The Nerds were exactly what you'd expect them to taste like. The combination of cotton candy and Nerds worked nicely. There is a huge area at Melt where you can sit down and enjoy your desserts. I would love to do that in the future. You aren't obligated to pay for a movie ticket. You can come here and indulge. I'm a fan. I can't wait to return and sample more yummy items. (459)

They sell bars, cakes, additives, hot drinks, cold drinks, desserts in jars, lollypop cakes, and tortes. They call themselves a non-bakery. This company originated in Poland. They have been slowly expanding to different countries. This location is the first in Canada (and North America), opening on 2025-07-16. We ordered the following: 1. Tiramisu cake ($9.00). 2. Vanilla Cheesecake ($9.00). 3. Granola on the Go with Tropical Fruits and Protein ($9.00). 4. Almond Apple Pie ($9.00). All items were subtly delicious! Each item is as it should taste but less sweet, but sweet enough. Now i can have dessert without the guilt! The Tiramisu had a good taste. It is even topped by a few coffee beans. The cake contains eggs, coconut milk, buckwheat flour, espresso, cocoa, sweetener, erythritol. The Vanilla Cheesecake was so very fluffy and light. It contains chicken eggs, cottage cheese, gluten-free pudding, natural skyr (yogurt), vanilla, fruit, sweetener, erythritol. The Granola on the Go was so colourful because it had so many different fruit flavour layers, like mango at the bottom. It would be best to scoop the layers separately, rather than mixing all the flavours together. This Cup contains mango, passionfruit, banana, pineapple, yogurt with increased protein content (cow's milk protein), coconut granola, sweeter, erythritol. The Almond Apple Pie was amazing, and the strongest taste of all the four items I had. It must be because Almond and apple have their own strong tastes. It contains apples, almond flour, rice flour, potato flour, coconut flour, coconut oil, cinnamon, sweetener, erythritol. The customer service was excellent. They know how to explain each items and the main ingredients in them. There are six small tables, enough to seat two people each. The vibe is modern, clean, and splashes of colour. They do not sell breakfast items even though their website says so. The website is generic for all worldwide locations. This location is franchaised. There is free WiFi (but not set up yet). The bakery is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom which is also wheelchair accessible and has a baby change table. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-140

I think that if you don't eat sugar this will be an excellent place to go to. However if you do eat sweets whether it's homemade or store bought you might find it less satisfying cause sugar does hit a certain part of our tongue and our brain. When I've baked not using sugar I found I need to add just a bit in even 1/4 cup to satiate the sugar fix. I got a tartlet with plum and peanut butter and it was good. The other item I looked at also had peanut butter. I did not try a cake and was hoping to find cookies to try but no luck. I don't live anywhere near here and I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way for it. I thought they were dairy free but it is a selection of items plus some are keto and a few things as marscapone cheese in it. I think they might also have vegan options too. It was a smorgasbord. I think the main thing is you're avoiding sugar then yes here it's worth it. I'm not 100% sure if it's all GF. I was surprised to see keto and dairy as I thought it was dairy free too but nope only some things. So it's a gamble what you can eat depending on what they make that day. Perhaps if they had a schedule for each day that would be very helpful.
