I've heard better things than I experienced. Two sport coats were supposed to be done on the 15th. I gave them extra time and showed up on the 18th. It wasn't ready so they said come on the 20th. I showed up on the 22nd and both of may coats were literally laying on the floor but no work was done. I don't really care that much about the delay cuz I was told "He's the best!" But then seeing to coats on the floors and not even touched, I was a little annoyed. Then they told me to come back in a few hours ...that was even more annoying knowing this project was only an hour or two of work. I'll probably stop by tomorrow (3rd) and see how we're doing. I'm guessing they are done and the third date is the charm. Honestly if this was my business, I'd give the service without charge...I'm not looking for that, but that is the right thing to do. I run a business so I know "stuff" happens but this type of performance can kill a reputation! Let's see how tomorrow goes. read more

The worst tailor I have ever used. Do not use him for anything. Not only poor work, but rude. Takes no responsibility for his own mistakes.

Cho is like a trained surgeon when altering clothes- or maybe a magician? He's done countless pants for me, a couple sport coats, but recently I had him do a dress shirt that was just too big all over and he really fixed it ! read more

Would not recommend! Mr Chon charged me $90 to tailor a $20 jacket! He promised at 1pm, it was not ready till 2:45 which only gave me 30 min to get ready for an even. Overpriced! read more

Excellent work and fair prices. I took my wedding dress for alterations and to add some detail as it was very simple (they added all the lace shown in the pic). I took my wedding dress to Cho's tailor and it was the best decision. They were so responsive. It was the middle of prom season and they still were able to get a very detailed gown completed in a short time. The dress turned out absolutely beautiful and I paid a lot less than I was expecting. I dropped off a pair of slacks to be taken up in the waist. Mr. Cho asked by when I needed them. I, with a panicked look on my face, replied sheepishly..."This afternoon..?" Mr.Cho said he would do his best. I called at 4pm that same day and they were done. Perfectly altered, no loose strings (literally or figuratively!) for a very reasonable $20. My sister is getting married in a few weeks, and the zipper on my bridesmaid dress is difficult to zip, so we brought it in hoping we could do something about it. I put the dress on, and the man who was working kept rudely insisting that "the zipper wasn't the problem," insinuating that I was. He refused to do anything about the dress, and sent me home. My regular tailor in Coppell was hospitalized so I took five item's to Cho's. First I called to verify that they could be ready by a certain date as I was going out of town and was assured that would be no problem. When I went to pick up my clothing (over a week later) they hadn't even started working on them. I was told they would be ready the next day. My daughter picked them up for me and when she got home I realized a shirt was missing. I called and was told "Oh, no, I'm sorry. I see it on the floor." My black linen dress was wrinkled, folded and hung on a pant's hanger. Everything was wrinkled and not even hung up properly and I was still charged almost $100. I had to make another trip out to get the shirt "on the floor". I'm giving two stars instead of one because the actual tailoring work was done well. But I will never, ever go back. read more

Extremely overpriced and I was not satisfied with the final product. I had to have a bridesmaid's dress let out and the shoulder straps shortened. When I went to pick up the dress the first time; the let out was fine but the shoulders still weren't good enough.. I had to leave it for another week. When I returned to pick up the dress a week later, the straps had been taken up so much it made the dress ride up under my arms. I just had to make due since the wedding was a few days away. I was not happy the way the dress turned out and was charged $70.00 for these alterations. Not a satisfied customer and would not recommend. Looked horrible! read more

I have taken every piece of clothing that needed alteration to Cho for 10 years now. He altered my bridesmaid's dresses, and although I have years of sewing experience, I still take every pair of pants to him for hemming because his pricing is very reasonable and he and the women there do such an excellent job. My husband now takes all of his work slacks there too, and agrees it is excellent work. We send all of our friends to Cho's, and they are very impressed! Cho has always made perfect alterations for me and I get shirts altered at least 2 a month and never have had a problem. The price is reasonable considering the quality of his stitching. My wife and I have had at least 30+ items altered from Cho and will continue to do so. read more

Stay away from this place, especially if you have an expensive piece of clothing!! I had a super expensive dress I took here to have some work done. When they told me the dress was ready, I came in and not everything had been completed. Maybe the guy didn't understand everything I said initially, who knows, that's a whole other issue. So then I left it there again so they could complete what they missed, and they just did a crappy job. I don't sew but I could have done 10 times better than they did. I thought these people were supposed to be the experts???? Anyways, not only did they do a bad job, but they charged A LOT! I would have been better off going anywhere else or even doing it myself! Cho's tailor is NOT for wedding alterations. They said they could do certain alterations and then failed to complete any of them and did not refund my money. Gown was there for nearly 3 months to have it taken in, sweetheart neckline added, buttons added down the back and bustled. Sweetheart was WAY off centered, buttons crooked, bustle wasn't ever done due to them not knowing how to do it. Had to take it to another tailor to have everything re-altered and paid for it all over again. I will never return to cho's. Absolutely terribly run business and rude to customers. Beware. read more
