Second best sandwiches I have ever had, but best on the East coast…read more I'm in Arlington on business from the West Coast and was looking for a quick lunch spot when I stumbled into this little hidden gem. I've eaten at plenty of delis over the years, but Eddie's Little Shop completely surprised me with flavors I've genuinely never tasted before. The sandwiches here are incredibly unique, creative combinations that just explode with flavor in ways I wasn't expecting. What really stood out were the huge, fresh chunks of real mozzarella, paired with their homemade-style dressings, sauces, and condiments. It's easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I've tried a lot. The portions are generous, the bread is spot-on. I'll definitely be back before my trip ends. If you're in Arlington, do not miss Eddie's Little Shop Deli. Highly, highly recommended!

The breakfast sandwich would be the perfect hangover meal -- buttery and cheesy. But, it was way too much bread compared to the bacon, egg and cheese. The cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious! Overall, the boxed lunch options weren't bad (only cold choices, even though the board has hot options listed in the same area which made it a bit confusing for someone's first time there). We got the chicken salad sandwich and Mike's fav). The box came with a cookie, water, and choice of pasta salad or chips. The pasta salad had a Greek flavor to it and was yummy. We sat outside at the seat yourself tables which were clean and right next to the door leading to the bakery. The toffee cookie flavor leaned more towards the chocolate side.

HAM & CHEESE BAGUETTE - 12 It was 1:20 PM, rainy, and I hadn't eaten all day. A toasted sandwich meant the world to me. The deli meat was warm, the cheese was melty and gooey, and the baguette was soft and chewy. I finished that sandwich pretty quickly. The interior is spacious with cafeteria-style seating. It's a bit pricy for a pre-made sandwich that tasted fairly commercialized and heavily processed, but other than that, it was a pretty solid and convenient meal.

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

I've NEVER been at a restaurant that didn't have any pepper. Plenty of salt, seasoned salt and even more salt. No pepper. Burgers seem to be popular. Wasn't very crowded, but seemed popular by locals. It was a "meh" for me. I do however really like that the food is cooked to order.

Truly just a take out spot but could smell the food the entire way home and couldn't wait to dig in. We ordered the fried chicken and shrimp with 3 sides (Mac/cheese, potato salad and yams). The fried chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned while the shrimp and surprise hush puppies stole the show! The Mac and cheese was cheesy and not bland while the yams were sweet but not overly sweet. The potato salad had all the usual suspects and was a delicious cool addition to the meal. BRAISED PORK OVER RICE (卤肉饭) - 15.49 Lots of rice, more rice than I could finish with the amount of braised pork belly they give. The pork was very fatty, which made it tasty and juicy, but it wasn't very saucy. There were two halves of a bokchoy and half of an incredibly boiled egg, which was meh. Still, I finished all the toppings and maybe a little less than half of the rice. I was full, but $15.49 for the food was not worth it.
