After a workout, a nice salad seemed like a wise choice, so I decided to give Chopt a try. The place was bright and clean upon arrival, with a clear and easy-to-read menu. The staff were attentive and respectful. At the counter, you start by choosing your salad toppings and then select your greens. I went with corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, broccoli, cheese, carrots, and grilled chicken on Romaine lettuce, with white balsamic vinaigrette. They add the dressing, mix everything up, and then chop it. I also got a piece of bread to go with the salad. Including a tip, the total was about $18. Everything was fresh, but next time, I'll ask for the dressing on the side. I'll also skip the grilled chicken--while the pieces were large, they lacked flavor, so I ended up picking them out. Maybe I'll try shrimp or salmon instead. Overall, it was a decent salad experience.

4.5 stars for me - I really love Chopt. They have a lot of different salad and bowl options to choose from with the ability to customize the toppings and dressing as you would like. They highlight high protein options which is helpful for the health conscious. I like that they have a wide variety of dressings to choose from. So far I have tried the Cobb salad, southwestern, steak salad, and the Norwegian salmon bowl. The salmon was phenomenal. It was cooked almost Perfectly (I hate overcooked salmon and there's was pretty close to medium. Personally I like it a little bit less cooked that it was but I understand for most customers that they tend to cook it a little bit more). I love the warm grains. I just wish the bowl was bigger for the price. The southwestern steak salad was also really good. The steak was a little bit overcooked in my opinion. Overall, this is a really great salad place and I definitely will keep coming back. Inside, It's a little bit cold (strong AC), but it's very clean and decorated well. The staff is always helpful and nice.

I frequented a place on JHH's campus called "Salad Creations" for years. It was a reasonably priced create your own salad spot that had amazing options to build your own or choose/customize an available option. They closed some time ago and I've yet to find a close match until now. Sometime you want a simple Caesar salad. Sometimes you want a huge salad with 100 things - sweet and salty, soft and crunchy. Chopt meets my expectations of what a "salad spot" should be. I chose to make my own salad and it was delicious. I chose a kale mix with panko chicken and a bunch of throw ins. I love that they have goat cheese and wontons - personal faves. It seems they have seasonable options so I'd love to see some berries on the menu. My salad was delicious and HUGE! I ate it at 4pm as a late lunch and didn't need dinner. It didn't make it out of the parking lot! The location is just across Dulaney Valley Road from Towson Mall and has ample free parking. There's also a lot of space inside to eat. Everything was clean and the customer service was excellent. If this place weren't 25 min up the beltway I would go 2-3 times a week. Please expand to other locations in the county. It is needed!

Clean and comfortable restaurant. Fun alone or with a few other people. No large tables. Menu gives suggestions or create your own. Salad was substantial and enough for two meals. Warm bowls too, although lots of cold on top of the warm. Calorie count on each meal is pretty low for the taste, quantity and quality of food.

I visit this location quite often when I am in the Towson area. The food is always fresh and very flavorful. The service is amazing and ambiance is always clean and welcoming. I definitely this establishment

Service is slow. Twice in one visit, two different employees touch things other than my salad (fist bump a guest and the other grabbing dirty pans taking it to the back then move to prepare my salad. Removal of solid gloves and hand washing should be a practice.

A refreshing, healthy lunch. Unfortunately, it was a little dry because the restaurant forgot my dressing but the vegetables were fresh and the wrap was soft. The sweet potatoes and chicken made for the perfect combo with edamame, marinated kale and chickpeas. I look forward to trying this restaurant again and trying the dressings.

If you are looking for a healthier fast food option, Chopt Creative Salad Co. is a great choice. This location is bright, clean, open and the staff is friendly. We have been here a few times, but recently I ordered the Classic Cobb and substituted grilled chicken with panko fried chicken and blue cheese with aged parm. I had them add some EVOO along with the buttermilk ranch. I also added parm crisps. I think the food lacks a bit of flavor in general. The menu is displayed on large TV screens and they also have a display of the different dressings categorized. All calories are listed so you can control your intake, making cognizant eating relatively effortless.

I been stalking this place! I missed Chopt from my DC days of working! Finally it's one here near me! Yes to healthy living! The salad is enough to feed two people. Customer service is the best! These young people have the best customer service better then Chick Fila lol. The place was clean, spacious and bright! Go check them out you will not be disappointed!

Most, if not all food items have pictures on the menu. EVERYTHING we ordered was good! Serving size…read morewas acceptable for the price. ST5 - Thai chicken with rice as kid's meal and is more than enough; not spicy Curry Mac and Crispy Eggplant - Part of the summer menu appetizers and were both delish of course; yellow sauce is spicy but on the milder side Drunken noodle tasted great Caramel chicken, even if a little sweet, was great too! Finished the garnishes and every bit of veggies that it too me the whole drive home to remove the spices stuck in between my teeth. LOL. Complimentary water but they have milk tea too, plus new drinks - mocktails! Parking enough even on peak hours. Would reserve for larger group.

The curry itself is very diluted like water. The consistency really threw me off. It's very much like a soup... Mixing it with the rice helped a bit but you could tell something was off. It doesn't have a ton of flavor. The chicken honestly was a little dry. There were a lot of veggies. I think the portion was good but that's about it. My boyfriend typically saves half his food for the next day but he threw this one out. Spring rolls 8/10: If you have to get something from this place, let it be this! The yellow sauce is liquid gold. I really enjoyed the red sauce that came with it too. Very crunchy & crispy appetizer! Drunken noodles w/ beef 6/10: I feel like you could find better drunken noodles somewhere else. The beef wasn't all that. It was too chewy. The noodles themselves were cooked properly. The whole dish just didn't hit the spot like it should have. I chose normal for the spice level and was satisfied with that choice.

Pleasantly pleased with my first Persian experience…read more Just off Joppa Road no the eastern edge of Towson is a massive complex built just for shops. In the sea of massage parlors, tanning salons, and laundromats is a Orchard Market & Cafe, serving up authentic Persian cuisine for 35+ years and counting. Had the fam visiting sis in nearby Pikesville. When we come down she always picks somewhere off the beaten path, something unique. This visit was no exception. Having never tried Persian food, I was excited to try something completely new. In this case, it was new yet also familiar. It's kind of like a mix between Indian and Mediterranean. You've got your assortment of stews and grilled meats infused with saffron, cardamom, and turmeric served of course with a side of basmati rice. The Mediterranean influence can be seen in their homemade hummus and use of fresh fruit and vegetables. There is perhaps no better example than the Mango Pear Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, mango, pear, Bulgarian feta and pomegranate vinaigrette. If you're feeling up for some true Persian fusion, you can't go wrong with Spicy Kermani Beef, which features succulent filet mignon sauteed with mushrooms and pepperoncinis in a zesty tomato garlic curry sauce. Everything in that brief description is right up my alley, and usurpingly the meal did not disappoint. Service was on point from start to finish, the finish being a tall glass of Persian saffron ice cream. Now this was truly a first for me, as I've never had anything like this in my life. The taste can be described as earthy, slightly floral and very aromatic. Rosewater adds the floral notes, while the saffron gives it the signature golden-yellow color and luxurious scent. Definitely a one-of-a-kind flavor that I highly suggest trying. The dining room is cozy with some neat pieces of art resembling ancient Middle Eastern artifacts adorning the walls. All in all I'm glad we got to try cuisine that doesn't have much representation in this neck of the woods.
