~ A terrific choice for sushi lovers ~
As a preface, I will mention that it is only worth coming to Chopsticks if you are very hungry, and if you have a lot of time. I say this because its best option is the buffet all you can eat, which is around $25 Euro per person, and about 12 Euro for a child. The only stipulation is that you can not leave any food on your dishes they collect, or they will add charges to it. By leftover it is safe to leave hones and fat, but no grandiose amount of chunks. All your orders can be placed by the iPad located at your table, or you may order through the old fashioned paper and checkmark method.
Everytime I visit my cousins in Rome, we just have to celebrate at least once at Chopsticks. If we don't visit all together, the trip was not completed. Now we all know I love white rice, and this place while not being strictly Asian cuisine, it is owned and run by a Chinese man. As I am also part Brasilian, I happily take part in the traditional churrascaria, which you will most likely know as the men coming around with slabs of meat in spikes, and thinly slicing as much as you want for you. But the predominant diet when in Chopsticks is going to be sushi, and rice based dishes. I say this because the meat barely comes around the tables, and when they do, it might not be the exact cut you wanted.
When it comes to the sushi though, there are quite a lot to select from, and if you order the buffet, it is all you can eat, as long as you finish what is in your plate. We stay there a good 2 or 3 hours with family, and just keep ordering until we're full. My cousin and I can easily go through about 4 or 5 platters is sushi combos, and even when he gets full, I push on, haha.
There are dishes such as noodles, soups, rice cakes, Gelato, Sweets, and more and you can glimpse at some in my added pictures.
The location is lavish and filled with nice design, lighting, and chandeliers. There is a second floor in which I believe you may go for a smaller and cheaper rebuffed during lunch hours. There are plenty of places to sit, but I suggest placing reservations if coming with a large group. Service is kind and very attentive, but for the most part do not speak English. As usual, you can get by with knowledge of a Latin based language.
While there are no pokestop in the vicinity, there are three free wifi options.
It's one of my favorite spots when in Rome, but remember, only when hungry and preferably for sushi. read more
