This Sadly used to be My Fianceé and I's favorite local Restaurant last year before we went to Florida for the winter. Now it is under New Management when we went back for our return visit in June 2019. The Service used to be top notch. Your order was always taken correctly by waiters and waitresses that were dressed in black pants and white crisp shirts. Now our order was taken after being seated in distressed looking chairs by a young inexperienced girl in blue jeans, similar to what you would expect a drink order would be taken at your cheap neighborhood bar. Our dinner order was taken incorrectly, and our App took over 40 minutes to arrive. Both were cooked nothing even close to the quality of the former Chef , and were a GREAT Disappontment. The food at this restaurant was acceptable, and the waitress was good though the food was not served quite according to how it was ordered (undercooked meat). Then, we received the bill with a surprise 22% gratuity (it was unadvertised). The owner came out and was extremely rude (threatened to call the police) when we asked for him to remove the gratuity. read more

To out of Towner's looking to have their rehearsal dinner at this location... We picked this place because we got married at the Hayloft on the Arch and guests were staying at the Turningstone. This happened Thursday August 25, 2015. Let me help you and spare you some time and money. Do not have your private party here! Do not talk to Matt the owner, anything discussed or agreed upon will go to his "spam" mail and the day of your event and he will charge you a much higher price then discussed. Save your time, effort and money and go to the casino or ANYWHERE ELSE. The owner/master chef should seriously think about opening a new business that does not deal with any sort of human interaction. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If only I could give Zero stars. We attended our niece's rehearsal dinner here and would given anything to have been elsewhere. Our party was served chicken when the menu that was paid for was steak. When the groom-to-be demanded a partial refund the owner "offered" them$100, which was completely ridiculous considering the price paid for the dinner. At that point the bride-to-be was in tears. When the mother-of-the-bride saw her daughter crying she confronted the owner, who called the police. When the officer arrived he realized there was no emergency whatsoever and that the owner overreacted calling the police. Sadly, our niece's rehearsal dinner was ruined for her. Even 1 star is too much for this place! If you're looking to have a private party here of any kind (bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, baby shower, BDAY party) do not! Owner is unprofessional and will try to take your money! He doesn't care what you're there to celebrate. Seriously do not count on this place to hold a special event or memory of any kind! When Matt made a mistake and served us the wrong entre for our event of 30+ people he refused to make things right. Instead of a full refund (we ordered prime rib and were served chicken) he offered a flimsy discount instead of refunding us the difference! That's right. We were served chicken, paid the up charge for prime rib, and were expected to still pay the up charge even though we were sever chicken. I've never seen an establishment of any kind work in this manner. Except criminals! Make sure you check out the photo of the "prime rib" we were served. Oh wait it's chicken! At my granddaughters wedding shower . Lovely room excellent food and service . Lunch served instead of breakfast. Menu had been changed by planners a few weeks ago. Lake view under new management. The menu is very limited. Over priced and not much selection. Our waitress goofed up our drink order twice, could not pronounce the name of the food correctly and had no idea of what was on the menu. We were told they don't serve bread or salad. With a 25 dollar entree? Then told bread would be served upon request. Good bread and butter is a very cheap way for a restaurant to impress. The "chef"really doesn't know how to write a menu or cook. Good food doesn't need to be fancy as long as the ingredients are top notch and the food is seasoned properly. I'm always amazed at what is served and no one tasted it before it came out to the public. Also no training what's so ever on the servers part. She kept saying what a mess they were in! This place will not survive in this neighborhood and the people who come here. They want a choice of good bar food mixed with full dinners. Take a good hard look at what you're doing.
