This place is awesome. The food and the service were excellent. The pork and kimchi dumplings are to die for.

Their flavors for the most part were right, portions are small, and prices are high which contrasts for its norm, since this is street food in Singapore which would cost 3-6$ a plate. Would recommend a more Peranakan decor to make this place feel like Bugis in Singapore. Hainanese chicken rice- good chicken, soup was way too salty that it was nota drinkable at all. Rice was right flavor but wrong texture. Maybe the certain rice can't be found in UK. Seafood Chow fun- I was actually impressed with the chow fun part that charred part and the oily noodles that require high heat and high oil to make it that texture. this dish was good. Would highly recommend it. Chinese leaf- just dressed up Napa cabbage but well done. Salt and pepper shrimp were also not bad The hakkien mee was good but was a little sweeter than what I remembered from Singapore. Overall an ok place- If you've not had Singapore food before this is a good pricy intro to what's ahead.

When we sat down they gave us a little jar of conversation cookies which was so cute. My husband and I went through the whole jar. Then they brought out another dish and it came with these two little birds and the hostess came by and told us that they're songbirds and gave us cards that explain what its for. We kept the little birds and they sit on a plant at home. I love special touches that had thought put into it. I loved the little baos! Im not usually a fan of the traditional tea sandwiches and the flavors they have (i.e. smoked salmon or cucumber with cream cheese) but these were delicious! I particularly liked the duck and also the shrimp toast. Also, the restrooms here are gorgeous!! Actually this who space is decorated so nicely. If I was more into IG I would be posing all over this restaurant.

My friend and I are foodies, and we asked a bunch of questions and they were very attentive and thorough in answering all of them. Now, on to the food..........(drumroll, please) we had for Starters: Wasabi Prawns(not as spicy as the name suggests) these were jumbo prawns, tempura battered delicately, and silky smooth flavor profile with a warm mouth hug of spice at the end, Salt and pepper squid was "ex-squids-ite" darker, fuller batter but do t let that deter you, sophisticated salt and pepper rimmed plate presentation and for scooting the squid around the plate for extra savoriness. My buddy had the happy wife noodles........ 3 words: Caviar/shaved Truffle, (*chef's kiss) Entrees: *Chilean Sea Bass........ mouth melting miso, umami bomb!*Chili Lobster, perfect amount of spice and other seafood friends joined the party- Scallops and Shrimp! Plenty of sauce leftover to dip your accompanied toast. *Black Pepper Beef- more of a 3rd wheel with the seafood, but held its own with its peppery, rich sauce. Very tender, and paired perfectly with the fried rice! We also had a side of the long life noodles, which we were told to order the vegetarian style so the flavor would not overpower the entrees, they were correct! What made it even more special was that the waiter rolled little nests of the noodles so it was easy to access the noodles without leaving a trail of noodles from the bowl to your plate! All in all, 5 star rating across the board, and I see why they've maintained a Michelin star for 15 straight years! Bravo
