Greg and team did a great job with our quartz counter tops in our adu great communication and craft.

I was impressed by Greg's' responsiveness and attention to my relatively small job and for handling some unexpected permitting matters at the last minute. The work itself (a bathroom vanity) was well done and on schedule. I like it a lot. read more

My review is better late than never. My in-laws purchased a vacation home last year which needed a major remodel inside. We needed to remodel all bathroom vanity cabinets with new floor tiles, convert 3 bath tubs to a standing shower type, new flooring & countertop cabinet in the laundry room, new kitchen island countertop, repaint kitchen cabinets, and replace second floor carpet to wood flooring. So I researched online for contractors and I found Choice Granite Inc led by Greg and his brother Joe.Project started on August 2025 and finished around December 2025. Communication was great, they kept me updated along the way, and were very professional. Their workers were good too, professional, productive, and quality was good. I would definitely refer them to family & friends and will probably hire them again for our next projects. read more

Greg and his team did an excellent job replacing countertop and replacing and reconnecting cooktop and sink/faucet in our kitchen. The results look excellent and they were able to do it for great price. Greg is very responsive, detail oriented, experienced, and gave me a lot of helpful insight and advice throughout the process. Being in South Pasadena it was nice to have someone who is based locally in Pasadena. He clearly has a passion for this line of work and I would highly recommend Choice Granite to anyone. Greg, the owner, and Nancy, his associate, are wonderful. I don't think we could've found a better place for cabinets and countertops. Their prices were the best we found after weeks of shopping and they are also incredibly well-connected with the manufacturers. The quality of their selections is also top-tier. If you're looking for great quality and price, Greg really can't be beat. read more

Edit; Greg reached out to me. And while i don't agree with his response I appreciate him wanting to make good. Alas it was too late. And sad that it has to take a negative review to get a timely response. Either way I've upped my rating from two to three stars. At the end of the day the counter's look good and they aren't bad people. The Bad; 1. Poor customer service. I contacted both the owner and installer several times and either got a response a week later or never at all. The last time I contacted to rectify installation issues three days in a row, both by text and phone call. No response. 2. Both counter tops were installed it to specifications. Shortcuts were taken. They didn't use undermount clips provided by manufacturer on either sink. This has become an issue as one sink needs to be replaced (broken, not by them) but Choice granite mounted from the top so the sink can't be removed without removing the countertop. And seeing they won't return our calls we're forced to hire someone else. 3. Upon inspection one of the mitre's was done poorly (this was later rectified with some cosmetic application). 4. Minor chipping on the underside corner of one countertop. The good; We liked the price, liked that they did the install on site, and the countertops look great. The installers were really nice, polite, quite, and efficient. Points 3. and 4. most people wouldn't pick up, we're craftsman, and take pride in our work, so we notice the little things. Points 1. and 2. in our view are unacceptable. They were very responsive when it came to getting their money, not at all when handling their mistakes. read more

After sales service was great, wide selection in the show rooms, helped us pick out and compare options for our countertops and backsplash in kitchen, all competitively priced even compared to the big box stores. Good communication across the whole process, was available on text anytime to answer questions and give advice. Well worth your time to get in touch with Greg and the team. read more

Overall: five stars for installers but zero stars for non-branded quartz Positives: Greg is extremely responsive, good prices, and installers were great! Negatives: Paid an extra $400 for the brightest white granite counter tops they offered for my kitchen which was four slabs. The slabs had significant variation in color so the seams were obvious (photo below - maybe I am overly anal) even though the install was perfect. When I pointed it out to the installers, they shrugged their shoulders and said to talk to Greg. Greg's response was that is normal, but he didn't even request to see a picture or come out to take a look as I suspect the installers informed him. He offered me to do a bathroom counter top at cost. No thank you. Beyond the color variation, the quartz is susceptible to marks/staining like no other I have seen before. I have had white quartz in prior kitchens and have it currently in my four bathrooms. This has proved to be the biggest issue and why I will replace the countertops with a branded quartz in the near future. I think if you go with one of their branded quartz options it should be a good experience. read more

We chose Choice Granite for our kitchen countertop quartz and installation. Choice Granite was the only place out of many that we reached out to that had 120" quartz slabs. Everywhere else we checked ranged from 100"-110". With that being said, they had great options and were even cheaper than the other places we checked that sold smaller slabs! Greg was also incredibly helpful every step of the way. After we ordered the slab, Greg notified us that there was a minor flaw in the slab and asked if we wanted to pick another option, which I thought was very kind and professional of him to do, even though we declined that offer. For the labor piece of installing the countertops, the workers were quick and efficient. For $600, they complete the installation on site. If noise is an issue, for $100 more you can have them come out and make all necessary measurements and cut the slab off site. The only issue I had with the labor piece was that we ordered a square mitered edge, but the workers initially stated that they "forgot" the necessary tools to create the mitered cut and asked if it would be okay to just glue the overhang on. After 10 minutes of going back and forth about it, they decided to double check their trunk and found the necessary tool. I think they were trying to save themselves from some extra work. Despite that little obstacle, I am very happy with how it turned out! read more

Had a wonderful experience with Greg and his team. They replaced my kitchen island with a waterfall edge and it came out looking topnotch. Before I even went to the store, I emailed with Greg for a couple weeks and he was always very responsive. More importantly, he was very upfront about all the costs. Once I put down my deposit, Greg's team was able to commence work the following week. The installation guys were amazing. They were punctual, professional and had strong attention to detail. There was no mess and nothing was damaged. They even managed to keep my old island in perfect condition. And although the job took half a day longer to complete, I'm beyond pleased with the results. I can't recommend Choice Granite & Kitchen Cabinets enough. Thanks for the beautiful work! read more

I am updating this to reflect that the leftover slabs of quartz countertop have now been removed. Thank you, Greg! Original post: We manage an apartment complex and have used Choice Granite on two occasions, one of which was for a completely new kitchen. That one did require a lot of my involvement (and fixing some issues) during installation, but the end result is beautiful. The latest job was installation of quartz countertops and subway tile in a different unit. They also did a beautiful job on this. Of particular note is that in both of these kitchens the slabs of white quartz were of the same dye lot. With someone we used previously, the slabs were not the same white, so this was a big deal to us, and Choice Granite came through. So why the 2 stars? The workers left the leftovers of the quartz countertops in the 2nd floor apartment, and they are *very* heavy. My husband has incurable cancer, and there is no way that he and I can get them down the stairs ourselves. He contacted Greg three times about this and heard nothing back. Finally I called Greg and said that I didn't want to leave a bad review, but I would have no choice if the slabs were not removed. He apologized and said, "I told the workers three times to remove them. I didn't know it wasn't done," and he promised that he would be over that week to get them removed himself. That was in very early September. It is now September 21, and the slabs are still in the apartment. We now have approved applicants who want to move in October 1. If the slabs get removed before they move in, I will try to revise this from a 2 to a 4. It will not be a 5 because we shouldn't have had to go to these lengths. read more

We had our kitchen countertops done 2 months ago and they look great. Greg was very responsive, even on a Sunday! The installers showed up before the scheduled time. All done fast, hassle free. Prices very competitive. Some reviews said you get a Starbucks gift card for writing a review. It wasn't offered to me even though I love coffee! read more

Choice Granite was a good choice in our home remodel. We wanted a particular brand of quartz (Aurea Stone) and we were able to put Greg in touch with Modul Marble in Anaheim to purchase it. We absolutely love the quartz! Greg was always easy to get a hold of to ask questions and talk about the project. They have a lot of other jobs going on and Juan flaked on us once for a measurement day, but it wasn't a big deal. We had Juan and his team do the installation. They were very patient and explained things to us as they were going. We asked a LOT of questions, so Juan did a great job answering them. Took 2 days to install due to all of our countertops, but it was a great experience. We had Juan put his level on the countertops after installation to make sure they were all level. I would give them 5 stars, but unfortunately Juan had to come back a few times because the island countertop was not sitting flat on the cabinets due to the size of the plywood subtop. Juan was willing to come out multiple times to get it taken off and fixed. Overall we love our countertops and Choice Granite was very easy to work with. Would recommend them to others in the future. read more

Don't buy from this company. They run an unethical business, Greg and Joe do not care about their customers. We hired them to do our kitchen and we have had issues from their workers not showing up, to hiding damage, cutting counters the wrong size, leaving gaps, even spitting on our counters after we had caught that them trying to paint over a chip they had made during install all during COVID, leaving our kitchen unfinished after Multiple attempts to reach them and get them to do the ethical thing, and no response. This company does not finish work, their workers are not monitored. Do yourself the favor and hire another company. We will be reporting them to all city as business authorities, as well as taking them to court. If you don't want this to potentially happen to you just find another company to hire. Your company is a joke your response is a joke - you have all the emails and Joe you refused to respond - by the way your obligation is to finish the work not your employees - In every email you apologized and took ownership of the fact that you failed. Proof is pictures Joe and videos - we never once said anything to your employees only caught them hiding and lying and calling us racially slurs in Spanish - how dare you try to lie - I will do you a favor I'll just file claims and I'll update this post with your apologies so people can see your true nature - By the way a woman can speak for herself - my husband does not speak for me, and his professionalism has nothing to do with your lack of delivery. He has never once brought his law license into us hiring your company. I have freedom of speech to say that I am unhappy with the service you provided - deflection is not a good quality. Anyone reading this post look at all the other negative reviews where people say this company tries to silence or disrepute their concerns. I'm not the only one read more

I had the privilege of working with Greg on my kitchen and bath remodel. I went in the shop to pick out materials and was pleasantly surprised at all the choices. I did a mini kitchen makeover and had new granite countertops and a tile backsplash installed by Choice Granite. Prices were competitive, and Greg was able to quickly track down a slab with an unusual color/finish that I requested and gave me a quote via text and email based on a few photos of my kitchen and some rough measurements (much appreciated since I don't want extra people coming in and out of my house during a pandemic!). Greg was available to me via text and email throughout the process. The tradesmen they sent were great, friendly, professional and respected my request that they wear masks while in my home. I was not the easiest client to deal with, and I'd never done this kind of reno before, and Greg bent over backwards to ensure I walked away happy with the results and the experience. My revamped kitchen looks great. Thank you! read more

Excellent work completed quickly and perfectly. Customer services from start to finish was a dream. Highly recommend.

Have extensive construction/carpentry experience and wanted to try my hand at installing a new quartz countertop. Reached out to Greg via email and he responded quickly with quotes and some recommendations about best way to approach the project. Visited in store, got some more information and looked at samples. Completed the order after some phone calls and emails and had the silestone countertop delivered within a few days. Heads up, they are heavy!! Ended up using Silestone prefab slabs in Desert Silver. Greg and his team were prompt and professional from the minute we began working with them, and we couldn't recommend them more! From our initial conversations on Yelp to our first meeting, Greg N. was honest in helping us make our initial quartz countertop selection and listened to our needs/budget/etc. They were also accommodating and flexible with our schedule and we booked them on the spot. Once Juan and his team arrived to do the job, they were very knowledgeable and honest about timing, labor, level of difficulty, etc. We had an initial hurdle and had to postpone the job, but again, they were very accommodating and rescheduled it right away. Throughout the process, they were prompt, communicated well, listened to our needs and were very professional. The entire job took one day - they arrived on time, communicated with us throughout the day (while we were at work), and cleaned up before they left. Lastly, Greg followed up with us a day after the job to make sure our needs were met. We really appreciated his attentiveness. Overall, we would highly recommend Greg and his team, and look forward to working with them again! read more

1. Not trustworthy- they will tell you that you need to replace unnecessary parts to make extra money from you. 2. Not professional- will do the job as quick as they can, show up with attitude and not clean up properly. 3. You have to be your own project supervisor, which means you have to really know what is going on and the details of the project otherwise you will not get your project done correctly. 4. We had enough stress and time loss and headache due to oversee of workmanship that we wish we never sign up with them in the first place. 5. They asked you to give them review in exchange for Starbuck gift card. read more

If you are looking for beautiful, period tile for your hundred year old house, you should start here. They have it. Walls and walls of displays. And not just period tile, they do justice to modern, and everything in between. It figures, being in Alhambra and close to Pasadena. That kind of neighborhood invites class and timelessness. I just came to browse, not to buy, or at least not yet. But I sure was impressed. read more

For Mothers Day, my husband gave me a gorgeous vintage/antique stove. Knowing it would not fit with our current kitchen design and the fact that our current cabinets were totally falling apart after only 5 years from installation. Time for a new kitchen, different company and alot of research. After meeting with several other companies, we decided to go with Choice Granite. Phi Phi spent a lot of time assisting us in picking out our cabinets, countertops and floors. Once everything was picked out, we sat with Greg to go over the costs. We were nicely surprised that we would get our new kitchen at the budget we set. Now for installation, everything for the most part went smoothly. Of course there were a few hiccups that were quickly addressed and corrected by Greg and knowing that Phi Phi was always a text message away helped set our minds at ease. Although our kitchen still needs little things my husband will complete (*ahem, lighting) we are so in love with it and would highly recommend Greg and his team! Infact, we are thinking of reaching out to Greg to have our dining room floor installed to match the kitchen floor.... I apologize as I only took pictures of my stove :) I promised to send Greg pictures of the cabinets and counters and will do that soon. read more
