We walked up on this small coffee shop and bakery looking for a Latte Machiatto early on a cold Sunday Morning. Not much is open in Arbon at that time. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious coffee and array of baked goods we had never seen before. By this time in our trip, we were accustomed to the highly developed baking game in this area of Europe. We tried a couple of items and found them characteristically sweet an refined.
New to us was the table reservation in a coffee shop. In the US tables are always first-come-first-served in a small cafe like this. Several tables were unoccupied, but had "reserved" signs on them. We asked and all had been reserved somehow. We chose to sit outside on seats that had furry pads on them, which were amazingly warming. We were quite comfortable, enjoying the warming effect of the drinks and the chairs in the chilly lake air.
This place seemed like a chain, but I'm not certain. Would definitely recommend and repeat if we are in Arbon again! read more
