The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the aroma of fresh chocolate and displays of their famous slabs, pralines, and seasonal creations. Everything looks (and tastes) amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering samples and explaining the different flavors, which makes the experience fun and welcoming. CHF9.90 for 100g from the slabs isn't that bad. They are quite the size of your palm and that is quite big enough to enjoy. You can get a smaller size too if you want to try them all. It's a great spot for picking up gifts to bring home, but honestly, you'll probably want to treat yourself too. A sweet highlight of my Zürich trip.

We really took the time to listen to each and every thing on the audio guide and it was really impressive learning about things that we take for granted, like what it takes to just gather cocoa beans and the stages that goes through. Then, chocolate history in Europe then over to Switzerland and the region's history. It really makes you appreciate it. The tasting room is really fun, where it comes out as liquid and you try a variety of chocolate. Then, you see the other side of the room with the different flavors that go into the chocolate and it breaks you off different varieties of chocolate, which you can taste how fresh the different ingredients are.
