Yelp Review 2026 #96:…read more I went to Laderach in different cities everyday while I was in Switzerland. This location is in Luzern Bahnhof and it's actually better than the location in Zürich Bahnhof. They have more selections here. There were two Frisch schoggi kinds I was trying to get but didn't find while in Zürich: Dubai chocolate, and vegan cashew. My favorite Frisch schoggi slabs I get all the time are vegan cashew (tastes and melts just like regular chocolate), hazelnut, and cornflakes. Add their Dubai chocolate to that list - you won't find it at all Laderach locations though. They have limited/ seasonal Frisch schoggi. In May, they had banana split. It's delicious so, I got a slab of that too. I got some truffles and mini mousses. I grabbed individually-wrapped chocolates for my friends. On my first day in Luzern, I went to this location twice. I first came here in the morning before going to the hotel. I was minding my own business taking pictures of the chocolates. The employee behind the counter was like "don't a picture of me". Girl, I have no reason to take your picture! I left. I came back in the afternoon for my chocolate break and that employee wasn't there anymore. I took pictures and the afternoon shift employee wasn't giving me samples left and right and was super nice and helpful. So, I bought chocolates from her.

Super yummy chocolates! Such a beautiful variety it was hard to choose but when you know what you…read morewant you can't go wrong!

Yelp Review 2026 #109:…read more Max Chocolatier is one of my favorites. They started here in Luzern so, I had to grab more chocolates here. This is a much bigger store than the one in Zurich. They have two employees here and they both will take their time for each customer in the store. Clearly, they want everyone to have the best and most focused experience while in the store and I appreciate that so much. It shows how much they care about the product even though the product speak for themselves. They'll give you free samples of whatever you want to try. They recommended their mate (South. American drink) truffle which I would not try on my own and I'm glad they did because I absolutely loved it and bought some. I had a clear plan on what I want to get from here: a box of passionfruit dragee, a box of pralines and a few truffles. I like how they put the truffles in a box. Most chocolatiers don't have boxes for when you pick your own truffles. You can pick a message tag for your chocolate boxes. There's many to choose from - in English, German and French. Since all the boxes I bought are for me and my sister, I picked message tags that resonated with me such as "I love dich". They also have blank tags if you want to write your own message. They have a coffee kiosk on front but it closes earlier than the store. They have espresso, cortado, cappuccino, latte, matcha, hot chocolate, etc. If you have time and want to create your own chocolate bar, go to their studio across the lake. You have to book your appointment though and prepay.

It was so Rich, decadent, viscous. It was lovely on a chilly day. Easy to order at the window and paid by card. Friendly and wonderful service. When you want a hot chocolate ..go to an actual chocolatier to have one made on the spot. It really is the best!

Our service was impeccable since it was our first time to Switzerland. We purchased four different flavors of chocolate and couldn't wait to share it with our family back in the United States . We rode the Bernina line open window train and bus from Milan to Saint Moritz. unfortunately on our way home, we left our chocolate on the train so we looked for other stores in Milan and the airport, but didn't find anything. Thankfully our sales clerk let us know that there was a location in Houston, Texas, and we're going to visit next month. we were so sad, but pray that someone else has a chance to experience the amazing chocolate.

We look asian but we are not chinese and we are American citizens. But she was very rude, she pick and choose customers. We standed in front of her and she kept picking the other customers whom have white skin color. We were there first, in front line. But she kept saying hi and invited others next to us or behind us. Until I can't hold it anymore and stopped her before she pick another customer behind us. She wasn't happy when I ask her to help us. She went to the back and ear drop another employee something and that employee gave us a wierd look. I hate when people racist and make assumptions about to be chinese. I read the reviews and there were multiple reviews mention about your employees were rude and only pick customers by the look (skin color, looking rich). The reality is I was the one bought the most. The other white skin customer bought only €13. I paid total €64. The others white customers were in the same tour trip with us and also noticed that your employees were racist. Shame on them. They think they are above everyone.

I spent 2 hours just walking through reading everything and could hand easily spent another 30-60 minutes. The chocolate samples were wonderful! You get to try the liquid chocolate: dark, milk, and white. Several pieces of Lindt chocolate, and of course one of each truffle flavor! The store was huge and had a lot of variety. The prices were comparable to grocery store prices. The cafe served a variety of great lunch items. And of course you have to get a Lindt hot chocolate while there!

Anyways, my review is for the museum in Zurich! What a crazy experience! We bought tickets online about a month and a half out and they were surprisingly reasonable. It's a timed entrance so you have to make your best guess. You enter on the second floor where you get squeezed around guided tour groups and just masses and masses of people. The timed tickets apparently do nothing to stem the flow of hyper children and teenagers running amuck. The museum portion was interesting but we were not provided an audio guide nor was there a docent assigned to us. Suddenly chocolate fountains of white, milk and dark came into view and all thoughts of learning chocolate facts went out the window. We grabbed these disposable spoons and felt like Augustus Gloop as we licked the chocolates and then felt like hamsters as we stuck out our palms to receive the bits of chocolate dispensed out of tubes. Nothing was labeled but each tube dispensed a different flavor of chocolate! At the very end of the tour, we were given 1 of each flavor of the Lindor truffle balls! There was even a cute interactive part outside the museum where if you scan your ticket, you watch a Rube Goldberg machine transfer a ball into a piece of wrapped chocolate into your hand! I would've enjoyed this more had not this feral little boy behind us not screamed and clutched at people because he could not wait his turn. The shop was pretty expensive and I could not tell the difference between Lindt chocolate sold in the US but the tastings were magical. It's my own fault for coming here in peak season but man...the droves of people really dampened the experience for me.
