Con: Very little room to see the displays. When I came in, I was immediately in line. They then snaked us back to the back of the room so I could see everything else, finding the chocolate I was directed to purchase. Pro: Delicious. Long-standing tradition of homemade. Con: Not easy to find this tiny storefront among all the others, overshadowed by Stop & Shop and more. Pro: Nice friendly staff up front and taking phone calls. The person ahead of me was known to the desk lady, who apparently knew her mom very well as a frequent visitor. I told the worker that the ad clearly says "no purchase necessary", and even showed him the ad. The worker just reponded by saying the manager is requiring a purchase for the free box. I told him this was misleading because the corporate ad clearly says "no purchase necessary". I asked to see the manager. The manager never came to apologize or even acknowledge me - all she did was slap the fruit box on the counter without saying anything or even looking at me. This was terrible customer service and also very unethical. The manager can't just set their own rules when the corporate ad says "no purchase necessary". The worker said I was the 15th person who's asked for the fruit box - good thing I stuck to my guns and didn't make any purchases to get the fruit box but I feel sorry for the other 14 customers that wanted their fruit box for free and got cheated by having to buy something. This is very deceptive and I feel cheated and scammed by this store and manager. Will be complaining to corporate as well. This tiny little rectangle with a few tables offered a case full of cutesy looking truffles. We tried 6 truffles and a sampling of 6 of their unfilled chocolates. All I can say about each of them is meh. Not awful, but not worth paying premium pricing for either, and the ambiance of the place is kind of bleh too. The coffee menu looked more promising with 4 or 5 different kinds of hot chocolate and the usual listing of coffees, lattes, etc. The hot chocolate kind of tasted like hot tasteless milk (not even good creamy milk) with almost no chocolate flavor, and the latte was luke warm and more of a capuccino. I guess most people dont know the difference, but in a specialty store I was hoping for something better. Stick with Nordstroms for the best coffee in the mall. It wasn't even five minutes and I got a call from the store manager Tina, letting me know the process of making the bouquets and that she may need a little bit more time to make sure all of the chocolate is dried and it's too perfection. I really appreciated how fast she was getting back to me and how kind she was over the phone, she even gave me some extra food in my bouquets for the inconvenience. You can tell she had so much love and passion for her job and her clients. The bouquets are absolutely beautiful and incredibly fresh. I will of course be becoming here again.
