They have mixed pre-made boxes or custom fill boxes that you can buy. Relatively expensive for chocolate that's just ok, I liked the Godiva better before - plus they don't have ice cream. Truffles were ok. I was ok with the hazelnut chocolate, but they also didn't have anything in the way of marzipan, which is my favorite with dark chocolate. No seating, and the store flow is relatively tight.

And it's still there, but now we have one over in Caldwell. Much easier for me to get to, and so now that I have been here all these centuries later, I present you with my unbiased review as follows. Pro: Wide selection. They show some of each up front, and I saw with my order that they've made many more than that on the shelves behind the counter so that they keep their display intact. Con: Very little room to see the displays. When I came in, I was immediately in line. They then snaked us back to the back of the room so I could see everything else, finding the chocolate I was directed to purchase. Pro: Delicious. Long-standing tradition of homemade. Con: Not easy to find this tiny storefront among all the others, overshadowed by Stop & Shop and more. Pro: Nice friendly staff up front and taking phone calls. The person ahead of me was known to the desk lady, who apparently knew her mom very well as a frequent visitor. Pro: The fact that there are many frequent visitors, and a line that kept replenishing at 4:00 on a workday. Pro: My mother loves Bromilow, and it's about to be Mother's Day. The pros outweigh the cons. We have a winner.

I would not recommend buying coffee from Ladurée in Short Hills…read more The first time I tried their coffee, I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, since then, their standards have gone downhill. Twice now, I've ordered their signature Pistachio Latte, and both times they didn't have the pistachio ingredient. Instead of informing me before making the drink, they simply served me a regular latte without the pistachio flavor and that too wasn't great. If you're out of an ingredient, the right thing to do is tell the customer and let them choose a different drink or cancel the order. Serving a regular latte while charging for a signature drink is misleading. I hope they improve their customer service and are more transparent with customers in the future.

I went to this Livingston store today looking to get a free fruit box, per the ad on the Edible…read moreArrangements instagram page. When I asked for the box, the worker said that the manager would only give a free box if I made a purchase. I told the worker that the ad clearly says "no purchase necessary", and even showed him the ad. The worker just reponded by saying the manager is requiring a purchase for the free box. I told him this was misleading because the corporate ad clearly says "no purchase necessary". I asked to see the manager. The manager never came to apologize or even acknowledge me - all she did was slap the fruit box on the counter without saying anything or even looking at me. This was terrible customer service and also very unethical. The manager can't just set their own rules when the corporate ad says "no purchase necessary". The worker said I was the 15th person who's asked for the fruit box - good thing I stuck to my guns and didn't make any purchases to get the fruit box but I feel sorry for the other 14 customers that wanted their fruit box for free and got cheated by having to buy something. This is very deceptive and I feel cheated and scammed by this store and manager. Will be complaining to corporate as well. (Attaching the corporate ad below for reference - "no purchase necessary" is in all caps)

This tiny little rectangle with a few tables offered a case full of cutesy looking truffles. We tried 6 truffles and a sampling of 6 of their unfilled chocolates. All I can say about each of them is meh. Not awful, but not worth paying premium pricing for either, and the ambiance of the place is kind of bleh too. The coffee menu looked more promising with 4 or 5 different kinds of hot chocolate and the usual listing of coffees, lattes, etc. The hot chocolate kind of tasted like hot tasteless milk (not even good creamy milk) with almost no chocolate flavor, and the latte was luke warm and more of a capuccino. I guess most people dont know the difference, but in a specialty store I was hoping for something better. Stick with Nordstroms for the best coffee in the mall.
