A lovely little local chocolate shop located in Morristown, crammed full of different chocolates and candy snacks. Staff was very helpful and I was able to take my time while I shopped. Street parking or in the municipal deck across the street. People most enjoyed the decorated chocolate covered Oreos. Chocolate easter eggs were ok; milk and dark chocolate boxes in truffles were good. They can also make larger chocolates out of molds - different shapes, etc. Only challenge - it's pretty easy to spend a fair amount of money, though so keep an eye on the budget; if you need something specific or a nice gift, this is a good spot to do it. For volume, though, probably not the easiest on the budget here. I bought 6 smaller items and rang up over $100 on the day. Good packaging but not cheap. read more

For a little shop they have every inch of space covered in fun and cool treats that you can pick up and share with friends and family. They have favors for bridal showers, baby showers, and weddings - let's not forget all the holiday themed creations they have floating about. I thought pricing was a little expensive for favors and even tried to see if they'd provide any sort of discount for buying in "bulk" (175+) but they didn't budge. Instead of walking out with an order of favors, I left with a box of mixed truffles. Amaretto was by far my favorite! I'll def. be back to try more of their selection. read more

The absolute best chocolate shop in the area - delicious chocolate (the dark chocolate is my favorite) and really creative molds. This is my go to for so many occasions - holiday gifts, engagements, teachers gifts, valentine's day, etc. They have hundreds and hundreds of different designs out in the store (and even more on the website that you can preorder) - it's fun to just take a look around. We even did a gender reveal for our third with chocolate covered Oreos (pink cream inside :)). Here's an IMPORTANT piece of information about this little slice of heaven. Enjou serves homemade ice cream in the summer...and their flavors can open up a serious can of whoop ass on ben and jerry's. Today we had a flavor called Grasshopper Pie, a delicious mix of mint chocolate ice cream (the green kind...not that crap kind that calls itself mint chocolate and then you find vanilla inside with mint flavored chocolate chips) mixed with crushed Oreo cookies. Oh, and of course rainbow sprinkles. I'm not sure what other flavors they have but from my experience with Grasshopper Pie, I have a hunch that they all probably hit the spot. They also sell designer chocolates that are awesome to browse through if you're not looking to purchase. I was impressed by the chess board with chess pieces that looked like they were made out of marble. That and the huge $100 bill bar...I liked that too. We got talking to the woman who works there, and I'd tell you her name but I think she'd rather tell you herself. She was so nice and clearly loves her business. She holds chocolate tastings that I'm sure would be out of this world if you're a big sweets person. Enjou also made the Food Network, something that I had oddly enough asked the owner while I was there...in which she responded...yes, I was on with Bobby Flay. Because I didn't for a long time (being that if you didn't go all the way to the back, though it isn't a huge shop--but let's just say that you just quickly gave the shop a once-over, and then left, which I actually did the next few times I dropped in after the first time I bought a few small bags of CHOCOs to give away a couple years ago--you really wouldn't notice the little nook in the back... Unless you do, and I'm just blind). Which is insane... Final word: because their ice cream. I mean, the man and I have gone back two weeks in a row ago, and will be back again for our weekly treat, and we don't even live here. (And for the summer season, not having a beach nearby is a sad call... While Ocean Grove and Asbury both share the ocean on one side, while your other hand clutches a cone from Days or the Creamery, in addition to eye candies, meaning shopping on Main and Cookman Aves...unless you prefer the crowded boardwalk.) And that's saying something, meaning it's definitely worth the trip. Because, again, the ice cream--did I mention that? Extra words: While I can use really descriptive words outside of "amazing", as though its my own creation I'm selling, I'm just going to let you see for yourself. But here's a few hints to give you a leg-up: Key lime (that tastes like cheesecake). Vanilla Ginger. Black raspberry. Here's more: You can counter the above (or other options) with the following: CHOCO, CHOCO PB, Coffee, though I wasn't too happy with the first, but only because I easily get bored with the same things for too long, and am constantly in search of something new and special... Like this, my recent discovery... Additional note: Their home-made hot fudge! And free (or any other choice of topping) for the whole month of August, if I'm not mistaken. So 4 for my sweet spot, because it's practically my 5... (if you've been following my yelping). I dropped by here after lunch to get some chocolate, and ended up buying 2 chocolate-covered apricot pieces, 2 pieces of chocolate/vanilla buttercream, one piece of dark chocolate raspberry jelly, and one of chocolate-covered marshmallow. These 6 pieces rang out to a very pricy $9.92, considering they were pretty small. The apricots were just okay, and I've had much better elsewhere where the apricot itself is a bit more tart and provides a better contrast with the chocolate. The buttercreams and jelly were nothing special, and the marshmallow wasn't very fresh, even though the other items were pretty fresh. I do believe, however, that the chocolate made here is fresh, but I just didn't find the taste of it to be that cocoa-y (or chocolatey), and it just tasted sweet more than anything else, almost like it was an artificial chocolate coating rather than a real, deep chocolate flavor. I probably wouldn't visit again, especially because the pieces were so tiny and the prices too colossal. read more

I started coming here some years ago when I needed to buy gifts for my then girlfriend (now ex; not because of Enjou, by the way) and couldn't think of anything else to get. Every time I bought something for her, I'd buy something for myself (I've always had a sweet tooth). Good thing? It always went over well as a gift, and I started buying it for others (my late mother always loved it). Bad thing? It ruined me for cheap, over-the-counter chocolate, Hershey's and Nestle's etc. It's delicious, high quality chocolate (I especially love the chocolate/popcorn mixture-- not sure what it's specifically called but I buy it every time I enter the store). It's not cheap, but this is definitely an instance of getting what you pay for. I only wish the store was bigger and had an even more extensive selection.
