    Coloring molds for our truffles
    Diana N.

I went here for a chocolate making class which includes a small lesson on how chocolate is made, bean to bar tasting, decorating, and making our own truffles to take home! This was a fantastic experience started with sampling some of their popular flavors. All were wonderful and we got to sample as Pam, the co owner, explained what was in each truffle. We then went with Rick to start making the ganache. You can tell he was very passionate about his work as he thoroughly told us about chocolate and how it needs to be mixed just right and at the right temperature to give you that experience of it melting perfectly in your mouth. Once that was setting up we learned how chocolate is made from David, the co owner. Again, the passion and love for what he does shows in his excitement in his presentation. Once we finished our truffles with flavoring salt or spices, we packaged them up and took them home! Thank you all at Chocolate Therapy for leading this fantastic event!

Everyone is so friendly and warm here. I think it's because they get to spend their day surrounded by the most delicious chocolates! Everything is delicious. It's hard to choose what you want but I always grab one of their giant dark chocolate pecan turtles. Incredible! They also are willing to host private chocolate-making events that you can schedule with your friends or with your colleagues. You can learn to make chocolates and bring wine. I can't wait to do that.

    Boston Iced Tea

Cute chocolate shop I noticed while driving past this afternoon. Very happy I stopped in. Their Boston Iced Tea is the best iced tea I've had in a while. It's a mix of black tea with cinnamon tea with a little bit of cranberry--so tasty and refreshing!! I wish Boston iced tea was sold everywhere! Sea salted chocolate caramel is also amazing. They offer samplings as well

Our company had a team building chocolate-making chocolate therapy event at Chocolate Therapy. It was great! We had 13 people divided into three teams. We were given a list of ingredients to select from to create our own truffles and then each team's creation was judged and a winner was chosen by Chocolate Factory owners. It was very fun! We also received a little chocolate history and sampling of their delicious chocolates. It was approximately an hour an half and the owners were so hospitable and fun. Highly recommended.

Greeted by pleasant sights and smells, as well as a kind staff, you will be happy when you enter Chocolate Therapy. The following based on my first visit here, in which I got several macarons and chocolates. The second my friend and I walked in, we were welcomed by a friendly staff member who help us select our treats. She was patient and very friendly, explaining the flavors of the macarons, verifying that each selection we made a popular choice among customers. I had a mixed reaction to the macarons. I selected a coffee and a chocolate macaron. The texture and overall structure of the macarons was absolutely perfect!! The first bite revealed a crunch, but melt-in-your-mouth wafer with a light buttercream. I did not feel at all gross or regretful after indulging in this macaron. Despite its perfect baking, the macarons were very off in flavor. The coffee lacked a notable coffee flavor; it was very plain tasting. The chocolate was overwhelmingly chocolate-flavored. If you're into chocolate, this is for you. I like chocolate, but the flavor really hits you in the mouth with CHOCOLATE. It was choc[late] full of chocolatey flavor. The sea salt caramels were nothing special. They were decent, but my friend and I have tasted better [and more affordable]. Chocolate Therapy is very expensive. A petite macaron (about [a generous at most] two inches in diameter) costs $1.25, and the two pieces of sea salt caramels (about 1 inch squared) cost about $4 [$1.90 each or so]. Additionally, there was a relatively limited selection, particularly of macarons and of specialty chocolates. The two display cases were very underwhelming. It had Richardson's Ice Cream, sure, but why not make and offer more specialty chocolates instead? It would be in the shop's best interest to capitalize on its clever name. Compared to other chocolatiers, like the fantastic Munson's (found in Connecticut), Chocolate Therapy is average. Not fantastic, but not bad--average.

Super good!! We bought a box of chocolates on a whim (we needed a treat in these tough times) and were blown away by how good they were. My favorite was the Raspberry Gem; my spouse's was the Limoncello. Really neat flavors and gorgeous chocolates.

I saw some chocolate alfajores (my fave), and some other alfajores with what looked like a fruit filling. I asked her what the filling was, and her response was, "Um, I don't know." That is an unacceptable response. She works there, and she should be able to answer questions about every item they sell. To me, that question would be a pretty common one, so "Let me find out" would have been a better response. I bought a few things and I'm sure they'll be good. Skybar is literally the best chocolate candy bar in the world…read more A couple years ago when NECCO went under, a small kitchen/food store named Duck Soup acquired the Skybar recipe, intellectual property and production equipment at auction. It took some time but they eventually expanded their space and got the bars back into production. I waited far too long to visit!! They taste amazing. To me, there are some minor differences in flavor to the original - the most notable being the caramel. It is now more noticeably salted however its thinner and tastes better quality than the Necco original. The vanilla section doesn't seem as strong in flavor as the original. However I believe the quality of the milk chocolate is better. I believe the pros outweigh the cons and its amazing they are even available!! This space is a combination production and retail space with a glass barrier leaving the customer full view of the process! There's also a bunch of swag for sale as well. With so many closings all over the country of restaurants & iconic places; it's nice to hear the word RESCUED back in our Vocabulary once again. Do I hear The Martha & The Vandella's song "Dancing in he Street" playing in the background. LOL! In 1938 The Necco Candy Company an American Candy Company located in Boston introduced the world to The Sky Bar Candy Bar. It became extremely popular in its heyday as well as a fan favorite of the 60s, 70s, 80s generations. In 2018 The Necco Candy Company filed for bankruptcy & closed its doors. People were very sad & upset about the news - one of the oldest Candy companies in America was out of business. Well the name Sky Bar went up for Auction. Louise Mawhinney bought the name Sky Bar & it was Rescued. Louise also Rescued another company next door called Duck Soup a few years back. Well Louise thought that was it. Well as fate would have it Louise ended up meeting one of the former employees of Necco Jeff Green VP of Necco & he told her she could make the candy herself. Necco had old machines. This brand new small facility is totally high tech & produces FRESH Sky Bars. It is both a manufacturing facility & a retail store all in one in Mill Village in Sudbury MA. The Sky Bar has 4 sections each with a different filling Caramel, Vanilla, Peanut ( Teddie Peanut Butter another Boston company) & Fudge all covered in Milk Chocolate. They make a new batch every couple of days so they are probably the Best Sky Bars you have ever tasted - Fresh as can be. Every Saturday at 11 AM they make the Sky Bars & you can watch through the glass windows the whole candy making process for FREE. It's like a Giant 3D Printer. They also make them 2 or so times during the week at the 11 AM time slot as well. You can call & find out what days they are making the candy during the week that you are coming here. They also sell Merch with Sky Bar T Shirts & Baseball Caps. There is a vintage video of the old Necco candy making facility you can watch too. They even have a model train that circles the store. All the Sky Bars are stacked in the original Necco wooden crates which is So Cool! You can purchase the bars individually in the store for $1.98 each & you can also order a box of 24 online. They also sell a lot of other Retro Candy & Merch in here too. There is Free Parking in the back. I talked to one of the employees in here & they told me people have driven 2 & 1/2 hours just to come here & buy their favorite candy bar Sky Bar that they thought was gone forever & said it was totally worth the trip! It used to be, you had to have mega bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!
