She said the bars, bonbons, and turtles were rich and delicious. I can't wait to place another order.

They were handing out samples of their hazelnut chocolate bars, and after one bite, I knew I had to step inside to look around and try some more. Such luxuriously rich and smooth chocolate morsels that melt so exquisitely in your mouth (where you can taste and smell the layers of quality ingredients contained in each piece). Really took me back to my last trip to Switzerland when I overindulged in chocolates and fondue (and it was so very worth it). Pricing is by the pound if you get items a la carte. Truffles and pralines are $84 per lb (works out to be average of $3 per piece) and their chocolate bark bars (aka FrischSchoggi) are about $60 to $64 per lb. Otherwise there are prepackaged boxes at set prices ranging from about $20 to $150 and more. Today I sampled the hazelnut chocolate bar, pava praline square, a white chocolate espresso truffle, and a champagne truffle. I ultimately decided to purchase the pava praline set (comes with 8 pieces) and 5 pieces of the white chocolate expresso truffles. Total was just under $40. Truffles came in nicely designed, minimalistic boxes. They are located on the second floor of the Bloomingdale's wing of South Coast Plaza, above Sephora.

My go-to flavors are the white chocolate macadamia, oatmeal raisin, toffee crunch & lemon blueberry cookies. A single cookie is $2.75, which IMO, is a pretty fair price these days ~ especially since they're a generous size. Since everything is baked fresh daily, the cookies are always soft, fresh and absolutely delicious. It's cool that they offer handmade ice cream and different flavored farm fresh milks, as well. The only downside is the parking situation ~ it can be a bit of a challenge. IYKYK :/ That's pretty much the only reason I don't visit more often. I usually stop by only when I'm already in the area grabbing a meal or hanging out nearby. On every visit, the staff has been friendly, and the shop is always clean and welcoming. All in all, if you're looking for a tasty dessert while you're in the area, Milk & Cookies is worth checking out! RxFoodie recommends!!!

The Order: * My Go-To: I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top. * Variety: They have every flavor of milk, ice cream, and cookies you could want. Timing & Atmosphere: * Avoid Weekends: I would not recommend coming here on a weekend. The store is tiny, and because it's right next to all the bars, the area gets crowded with a lot of drunk people. If that isn't your scene, stick to a weekday visit. * Rewards: It is quite expensive, but it's a nice treat. Plus, you can sign up with your phone number to get discounts for future visits. The Parking Situation: * Virtually Non-Existent: There is no parking lot, so you are stuck looking for small spots along the side of the road. * Accessibility: There is no designated handicap parking, so keep that in mind if you aren't prepared to walk a bit from a side street. Final Verdict: It's a perfect weekday spot for a warm dessert, just be prepared for the peninsula parking struggle!

Everything was made fresh to order (except the bites), and you can tell they take their time putting everything together. The Crepuccini was by far my favorite. The combination of warm crepe, cinnamon apples, white chocolate, and vanilla ice cream was so good, and now I want to go back just to try more flavor combinations. The Spanish latte was good, although I was expecting it to be a little sweeter. The peach smoothie was refreshing, and while the mango bursting boba was fun to try, I realized I still prefer traditional boba. The menu has so many different options that it was honestly hard to choose. Tons of parking, a small place but def a few tables for comfortable seating. If you're looking for a fun dessert spot in Tustin, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.
