I was extremely disappointed with my purchase of the Dubai Strawberry Cups. Although the strawberries were fresh and of good quality, the portion size was significantly smaller than the advertised 12 oz--closer to 8 oz. Advertising a larger serving than what is actually provided is misleading. The chocolate and pistachio cream were used very sparingly, and the crispy knafeh was completely stale, which took away from the overall experience. After spending $55.17 on three cups, I expected much better quality and value. Instead, I felt misled by the advertised portion size and disappointed by the lack of freshness and ingredients. Was pretty okay but originally came in because my friend needed to use the bathroom but they told us that it was out of order, we asked if there was another one maybe and then they said that we needed to buy something in order to use it. Afterwards some guys that didn't buy anything asked to use it and the lady gave them the code without them buying anything? I'm not sure if it's a race thing or a male centered kind of deal but it definitely threw us off. Strawberries were fine, drink just tasted like sprite but as mentioned, had planned on buying something anyway but why go out of your way to be that shady? Chocolate Bash is a cute little dessert spot with a cozy vibe. There's a small parking lot with a few spots, so you might get lucky. Everything we tried was good, but fair warning--it's extremely sweet. Definitely one of those places where you'll want to split with someone unless you've got a serious sugar tolerance. Service-wise, the girl working was friendly and polite, but things moved pretty slow. Not sure if it was just an off day or if that's the usual pace, but it definitely tested our patience a bit. Finally got here to try the Dubai strawberry cup. It was just okay. The first berry I got was past its prime. The rest were good especially considering they aren't in season locally. But the dessert needed more sauce. More chocolate sauce and more pistachio. What little there was mostly stuck to the sides of the cup. I wouldn't get it again. My friend and I stopped in at around 11:23 p.m. to pick up a treat. As soon as we walked in, the employee said, "We're closing." I mentioned that the posted hours on Yelp show the shop is open until 1:00 a.m. and asked if they were closing early that day. The employee responded, "I don't know, I don't manage when we close," in a noticeably dismissive tone. I asked what time they actually close, and she said 11:40 p.m. Since it was still well before closing, I said we had enough time to order. She refused and said she had other tasks to complete, again without any apology or courtesy. The employee was not wearing a name tag and when I asked for her name, she said she could not provide it. I asked whether a manager was available; she said no. I then asked for the manager's name and was told she could not provide that either. She did offer to take my number instead, which felt unprofessional and evasive. When I simply declined and mentioned that I would be writing a review, she responded with a sarcastic "righttttt." The interaction was unexpectedly dismissive and unprofessional, especially since we arrived before the stated closing time. This is different than your average Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory. They have waffles drizzled with milk chocolate and white chocolate. The mini pancakes drizzled with White chocolate are dreamy!!!!! Those are my favorite by far. It is just so good with the warm pancake and sweetness of the white chocolate. Came in on a nice Sunday craving a shake. Arriving to the location was a breeze and nice walk from the pier. However when arriving to the spot the service person was extremely rude. She did not greet us or let us know she was working on another order ? A few minutes passed just waiting around to see if anyone would take our order .
