    Vegan Chocolate & Raspberry
    Holly K.

Gelato was good, but service was very poor. I'm vegan so I tried the Vegan Chocolate and Raspberry. I got the smallest scoop and the serving size was plenty! However, despite the line only being one or two more pairs after us, we felt very rushed... and noticed that not a single employee smiled or showed any kind of customer service. Maybe they were all having a hard day, but for three out of three employees to appear like they despise their job, it was not very welcoming. I tried Bacio di Latte since it was open later and my favorite Gelato place was closed for the evening. This experience left me not wanting to return. Parking is easy. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Bathroom inside!

I love Bacio Di Latte. I say this as someone who ate gelato through my way in Italy from Venice to Rome. Bacio Di Latte is MY FAVORITE gelato shop. This location of Bacio Di Latte is in the Westcliff Newport Beach area, in the same plaza as Pressed Juicery and The Chicken Shop. This is a really prime location with plenty of parking in the area. They have a few seats inside and plenty of seats outside shared with the plaza. I took my boyfriend here so he can enjoy some premium gelato with me. We shared a Regular Cup ($8.95) which allows you up to 3 flavors. Staff was very kind with offering samples. We ended up choosing the mint chocolate chip, liana's shortcake, and hazelnut. Every flavor was well developed and the consistency was smooth. It is exactly as gelato should be. I could have eaten it all by myself but I must really adore my boyfriend to share with him. A few of my other favorite flavors here is the namesake bacio di latte, tiramisu, salted caramel, coffee, and pistachio. It all depends on which flavors I'm in the mood for. Admittedly on the pricey side but you pay for quality.

Every time I think about gelato, I think about an acquaintance I had that made her summer Italy trip her entire personality. She would never stop talking about how gelato is so much better than ice cream and how I just "wouldn't get it." Do I still talk to her? Absolutely not. But do I get it now? Without a doubt. As much I hate pitting sweet treats against one another, gelato is truly superior to other variations of milk, cream, and ice. Bacio Di Latte in particular was super delicious and made my sweet evening that much sweeter! I loved that we were able to sample different flavors so I can get a better idea of which one(s) I wanted to commit to. The flavors I ended up choosing were tiramisu and pistachio, which are generally my go-to flavors as a first timer. I'd come back here if I was nearby, even if the parking situation for Irvine Spectrum is less than savory.

I'd pick this location for what might be the quietest of the three local ones around Orange County. The shop is clean and bright, and there's actually some places to sit compared to the Fashion Island location. Presentation is lovely and the gelato is top notch. I've always appreciated that the shop offers samples, which is important in my unofficial book of ice cream. (Because how can you have all these cool flavors but not offer samples to the people. This is what I appreciate about Bacio.) Service is rough depending on when you go. Great customer service but terribly understaffed. I felt awful for the associate working the day I went. The person was just by himself handling everything. This is clearly something management needs to do better with staffing. The hour I was sitting there, it was nonstop flow of people coming in and only 1 person handling everything. No other associate was in sight. The associate really did the best he could and earned every friggin' penny and tip that shift. I hope Bacio does better there for its associate and the customers. As for the gelato, as I mentioned, great varieties and solid presentation.

Bacio Di Latte opened in this location not too long ago and it's really really really good. The gelato is super creamy and not overly sweet. Pistachio and Bacio di latte flavors we tried and were both excellent. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. The shop is clean and modern, staff was friendly, and portions were solid. A little pricey, but worth it. Great new dessert spot and will definitely be a go-to option.

I love Bacio Di Latte! I was so excited to hear about the 50% off affogato special this month. I got two scoops of chocolate & hazelnut with 2 shots. Definitely want to go back before the special ends. I wish I got the name of the guy behind the counter but he was very helpful and friendly!

I got to try several flavors. My favorite was their seasonal flavor, Maple Crunch. They were kind to let me try more than 3 flavors. I thought the i e cream was nice and creamy. I loved how clean store looked and how comfortable seating was as well. Its a very cute look.

Solid spot to get gelato. I was impressed by all the flavors and I got my usual affogato. I like to get it with the pistachio flavored gelato. The staff is friendly and will allow you to try flavors. This one is less crowded than the Newport one. I would recommend it.

What a cute coffee and gelato place ! It is clean, well lit and decorated with adorable coffeewares. You can sample gelatos if you need to compare what you like .

When you enter, the location is huge! Tons of tables and seating. Nice! People are working, hanging out, and enjoying their food and drinks. I ordered a churro latte half sweet and a deluxe avocado toast. The latte was delicious. Sweetness level was just right for me. I don't like super sweet drinks. The avocado toast was also great. There was so much flavor from the egg and bacon and seasonings. It was a little hard to eat out of the to go container, but I made it work. It could easily be shared depending how hungry you are. I love that I didn't feel rushed here. It seems they expect people to come and hang out for awhile. Can't wait to return! I'm eyeing the biscuit and a matcha next time.

Inside is a café inspired by natural accents with an industrial flair giving a rustic character with modern style. The vibe inside is chill with plenty of seating for groups or singles. They also have an outdoor area with covered seating surrounded by plants. The menu delivers just as much appeal as the setting. They have an expansive list of coffee, tea, and lattes with several modifiers to choose from. To accompany your drink the menu provides options of sandwiches, bagels, and a variety of pastries. I had the smoked salmon bagel, featuring delicate slices of salmon layered over cream cheese spread, topped with capers and fresh chives. This is my go to for coffee houses that offer it. The bagel exceeded my expectations and I believe the chive's subtle flavor complemented the smoked salmon really well. For drinks we tried the chai and hot chocolate. The iced chai latte was smooth and not too sweet with a dusting of cinnamon on top, but I would rate it average in taste. The hot chocolate was deliciously velvety and detailed beautifully. I would rate it a five out of five! The difference at this coffee shop is that you can choose from a range of seating arrangements and have an opportunity to support the business by picking up clothing, a bag of coffee or other merchandise. The con for this coffee shop is that the beverages are somewhat undersized relative to the price point. In addition, the customer service experience fell short. We were greeted upon entering, but it was unclear where customers should retrieve their order or whether orders numbers were called out. With that said, those looking for a quiet morning coffee or a cozy place to catch up with friends, this spot can accommodate.

The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.
