If you never tried them, you are missing out!!! My absolute favs are Flake and Kinder. Must try! The service was amazing. I stopped by Chocolate Bash to fulfill my drunk munchie fantasies after 'enjoying' Sunday Football at a local bar. This small Newport storefront is filled with all the chocolate happenings: crepes, milkshakes, fruit sticks, waffles, and pancakes. Each item is hand prepped, and then doused in beautiful layers of Belgium chocolate. I ordered the Belgium Crepe with chocolate sauce, strawberries, and bananas. Since you pay around a dollar per topping, this crepe came out to around $12. I made the mistake of ordering mine to go - this is definitely not an item you want to eat on the run! There are a small number of seats available in the shop, but you could always enjoy it down on the sand. Just pack napkins! While the Belgium crepe was absolutely delicious, I thought the chocolate was a little overwhelming - I should have taken the name of the shop to heart. Next time I'd probably stick to one of the fruit sticks for a quick snack! read more
