The chocolate covered star we tried were great but they took way too long and it was way overpriced.

I am a very critical person when it comes to chocolate, but I decided to try something from this place just because the guy working there was cute . His demeanor was uplifting enough to convince me I wouldn't be disappointed -so I chose the crepes . I was very impressed with them. . I did not wait long for them to be ready and they were exquisite. I am going to come back here on a regular basis for my chocolate cravings and great service from Cliff. I love this place! I live close by here and am seriously addicted BADLY. I seriously think I have a problem because I think about it every day and get it just about every night. They are very busy but only because the chocolate is so amazing. Had an issue with my delivery due to the volume of orders and the owner immediately reached out to me and was just so friendly and amazing. Will definitely keep coming back for a while! read more

Ordered a bash roll with strawberries and bananas with white and dark Belgium chocolate, it was HUGE! Taste was great and presentation was pretty. Place is small and it was crowded, only two tables for 2 and some bar seating. Staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend checking it out! read more

Chocolate Bash - Chocolate Bash! - Chocolatiers & Shops Near Me - Newport Beach, California

Got this once on doordash and it was good enough I decided to drive here and get one a few weeks later. It's a really decadent crepe with really rich tasting belgium chocolate drizzled all over it. What's not to love? Well.. maybe the price. I would complain about it; but I guess having a shop in newport near the pier would have overhead, so I guess I'll let it slide. read more

Amazing menu's and you can make what ever you want. Very nice kinder collection, they even have the flake

Good place to grab dessert, mostly if you're a chocolate lover. Staff was really nice and friendly, the space in there is a little tight though. I would recommend smaller groups for this area unless you plan on eating quickly together or you can take it to the beach since you would be right off of Newport Beach. So I order the chocolate covered banana stick, chocolate covered strawberries, and a lotus/white chocolate covered waffle plate. The banana stick was amazing if you love chocolate and bananas, not overwhelmingly chocolaty either. The chocolate covered strawberries were fresh and sweet. As for the waffle, it was a perfect blend of fruit, chocolate, and waffle. If I had friends in town and wanted to take them for dessert and a walk on Newport Beach we would definitely come here. read more

We have found this place after we rented the bikes next door. We gave it a shot and it was great. I loved it! The verity of delicious desserts is big, you will definitely find something you like. We ordered crêpe with lotus, Nutella and Belgian Chocolate because we couldn't decide between those, also we got strawberries with chocolate and they were good! I'm coming back here for sure because there are so much on menu I didn't try lol. read more

Yummy treat for a late night dessert run! Ordered the mini pancakes with Nutella.. so so delicious, definitely satisfied my cravings. Granted it's a bit expensive but it makes sense for their location. Details and making a business work requires $$ so people, stop complaining about the price and just enjoy the dessert :-) read more

Best place for dessert. The workers are so dope and chill. JASMIN and KIM... so nice. Was thinking to go to Rocky Mountain but way too expensive for strawberries. Looked on Yelp, saw great reviews so decided to hit up. Do not regret. Will be coming here more often ! read more

Was okkk. Presentation was ugly and lazy especially considering how long they took to prepare our order. Taste was good though but nothing noticeable that would make me come again. Staff seems really nice! read more

Our first time here! Amazing creative and delicious options & very helpful staff. I am giving 3 stars due to the sampler platter that we ordered. we weren't sure what we wanted to try; so we went with the platter to try multiple things. It is made to order and the customer customizes it. Perhaps it was the choices we went with? It seemed doughy, and while visually impressive I felt it wasn't worth the $30. read more

You know that emoji? This one: , this is how I feel about this place. Chocolate overload, and not in a good way. I got the kinder bueno waffle with strawberries, and omg I thought I was gonna get diabetes on the spot. The waffle in itself was not good at all: it was very doughy and not crispy on the outside at all. The whole thing was drowned in melted kinder Bueno chocolate, so the whole situation was overly sweet. The place is kind of hard to find with the gps, so my friends and I were aimlessly walking the surrounding streets asking for directions to anybody we could find on the street, and no one had a clue about this place. The ladies that served us, were really nice tough, so sorry for using that emoji , but it's just for my food experience. read more

So I'm sitting in the parking lot right now staring at this place that is closed. The door is locked up with a bike lock): We brought my boyfriends dad here to show him a taste of Newport since he's from North Carolina but can't have him taste the dank cheesecake or crepes or shakes or anything. My heart hurts so much. Please update your hours read more

This is our 2nd time back! We enjoy this dessert shop! If you're a lover of chocolate, this is where you want to be.

Great tasting desserts and helpful staff! The oreo shakes were great and the waffles were delicious! Perfect desserts after a Beach day. The employees were kind enough to explain the menu to us and how our waffle would be assembled. Only downside was that they ran out of almond milk for a chai latte, but they happily refunded us! read more

Chocolate Bash - Best shakes in town! Love the Oreo! - Chocolatiers & Shops Near Me - Newport Beach, California

I have pretty much tried everything on the menu. This place is amazing and is my go-to for chocolate cravings. Whenever my friends come to visit me from LA, this is where I take them and no one ever gets disappointed. The prices are a bit high but it is imported chocolate and its high quality. They are very generous with it too. It is pretty tucked away but once you find it, you will want to tell everyone about it. I also wish they had more sitting areas but the Belgium chocolate keeps seducing me to come back. Seriously, you got to try this place! read more
